IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Step children question	All the above posters are correct. I filed for my hubby and 2 kids also and thus far, just waiting on approval! NO lawyer, nothing! Personally I think lawyers are for more complicated cases. When they ask for choice of agent, you send for all 3 each with you or husband signing for the kids. When you pay 1-864 its 1 $88 fee for all 3. When you send in the affidavit paperwork, its 1 for EACH with the same supporting documents. When you pay for you visa its 3 payments each and for the paperwork, its only your husband that gets the police report attach to his packet. Though your husband makes that amount per month, they also look at what the adjusted gross income filed received for 2010 was. If that is below the threshold of filing for 4, then further proof of income is indeed needed. Send in co sponsors 864 with him and your should be approved. I was waiting for Septembr/October time and baps! When I stopped looking and left it in God's hands, it came. Go on your way...occupy your time....look once a week. (Just got back from Jamdown. To be even walkign gainst a young girl or big ooman and brush gainst her put yu hand a certain way and get accused of raping is detrimental! Nuff red flags but then again without judging, we dont know that much. Ultimately the OP saw it fit to cancel the petition based on the ACTUAL charge of rape! What a ating! My husband just applied and picked up his Police certificate @ Oxford Rd then picked up the report @Duke St. $2,000JMD for 1 week express. $1,000 for regular. Caribbean	JAMAICA police report	sorry but there is no one day service and you cannot obtain it from just any police station, there are a few selected stations in rural parishes that you can get your prints done, but you have to go to duke street for the report and don't forget to bring your receipt when collecting. and as i say, it's $1000 for 21 days and $2000 for 5 days and that is the express. it is posted in every tax office across the isalnd check it out for yourself. RIP> Now I learnt its $2500 and requesting from the nearest police station to where your beneficiary lives is even better! Expedited PC is more $$ within 1 day.
