when did you pay your DV?



my fiance paid his DV on June 13. yes, i know, it wasn't early enough but does it really take more than 11 weeks? besides, my problem really is more with the fact that they have not responded to any of my numerous e-mails and all i got from the helpline was "call back in 8 weeks" the first time, "you'll be contacted via telephone or mail" the second time, and "call back again in 2 weeks" the third time. if not for my senator's office, i never would have known that they were verifying his marital status. we were able to obtain his cenomar in 3 days. we were also able to obtain duplicates of his other documents in 4 days, at most. in the meantime, we have not been contacted either telephonically, via mail, or via e-mail as promised. it's just frustrating to have to tell our 11 year old, "maybe next week we'll know when papa is coming". sad.gif


Oh thats sad i know. Just tell your child, that his papa's govt is just slow...but papa will come by the grace of GOd.

No, we're not married yet. We've finally overcome the obstacles that we've gone through spanning 18 years. Now, it's just this one last obstacle that's still keeping us apart. We thought he'd be with us by his birthday this Sept. 19 but that's not looking good right now. I just hope that things finally work out so our family could be complete this coming holiday season.



Hi. I've contacted Delbros and NSO. It appears that my fiance's govt isn't the one that's slow this time. His documents were sent for verification by Delbros on July 10, that's because it seems that they didn't get the first text message that my fiance sent on June 13 regarding the payment that was made. Good thing I sent a second text message reconfirming payment on July 8. Anyway, both Delbros and NSO agree that the document verification has been completed and was forwarded to the Embassy on August 11. So not I'm trying to figure out why his visa still hasn't been released. According to Delbros, there is nothing to show that the document verification was resubmitted by the Embassy so that leads to the conclusion that the Embassy is the one dragging its feet. Too bad I can't contact the Embassy today to find out what's really happening because it's a US holiday.

just follow all the people getting off your plane...dont lose track of them... then the problem is, I just dont know where you are gonna fall in line at NAIA and then at LAX...

i think after you pass the immigration officers, you are gonna get your baggages from the carousel...i forgot how you can determine where to see your baggages...oh no...get a CART then put your baggages there...then after that, you are gonna fall in line again and then they will scan your baggages again.

then after that, you are gonna follow the people going out to meet their respective families...see you!!!

Your NOA1 and NOA2 should have your Service Center's case number (CSCxxxxxxxxxx) but not the the Manila case number.

Your Manila case number should have been written in the appointment letter that was sent to you by the US Embassy. It should start with MNL2008xxxxxx. Have you received any letter at all from the embassy?

I just entered our case number on delbros online. It says that "shipment process in the embassy". What does that mean? I had my interview yesterday and DV is not yet with them according to the CO. But I was instructed to pay and I paid visa delivery fee...

oh yeah? almost same case kayo ng fiance ko. but nung nagbayad siya ng visa delivery kinuha naman ung baptismal niya since late reg nga sya. aug 6 din nagstart ang NSO to verify his docs and aug 21 ung interview niya. tapos pink slip at docs verification din. maybe they forgot to give you ung white slip? hehe. hindi pa ba nafolowup ng fiance mo?

nagdaan din kami dyan. we paid DV august 1. august21 interview.dv at usem aug28. case with the CO sept 3. visa approved sept 5. Visa delivered sept 11.

talagang 1 month or more ang DV. But the good thing is if u got pink slip, that's a good sign. Just wait. I know its frustrating sometimes. Hanap na lang kau ng iba pang aasikasuhin. kc ako narealize ko 1 week na lang paalis nako.

If u have SSS, pagibig and philhealth and u want to continue ur contributions, lalakarin nyo pa un. from either employed or self-employed to voluntary members. Try to apply at Pag-ibig overseas sa buendia para naman may contribution pa rin kau. sayang din...

Guys, i'm just giving you options to manage the "wait".Maybe other Vjers have also something to share while you wait...
