It probably couldn't hurt to start calling NVC a couple days after NOA2 to make sure they are aware of the beneficiary's new address.

In addition, once you've determined that NVC has forwarded the petition to the consulate, you or the beneficiary can contact the consulate and double check that they have the correct address.

The less you leave to chance in this process, the better.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. Dont you think that after the NOA2 has been sent thats too late? Because then the information they sent him will already be at his old address? Is there a way I can call VSC to confirm they have changed his mailing address so when the NOA2 does come it will go to his correct address?
Thanks Again

NOA2 is sent to the US citizen petitioner. The US citizen is the petitioner. The alien fiance is the beneficiary. Which one moved?

He moved, the beneficiary. I know I get the NOA2 notice, but dont they send him paperwork also?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresBeneficiary Change Of Address
Hey everyone! Ive searched and searched but I cant find what I have to do... My fiancee has just moved. We are probably a little over a month before our NOA2.. I know I have to notify them of his address change because they will send him paperwork after the NOA2, right? I called USCIS today and the representative said just to send a letter to VSC and advise of the new address. Is this enough?

Thanks for your help!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNVC Sent to WRONG EMBASSY!
OK, here is my story maybe someone else has been through this? Our 129-F was approved on the 22nd of Sept. It went through NVC, was there less than a week and forwarded to the embassy.. in Caracas Venezuela! My fiance is currently living in Aruba, only for 2 more weeks, then he is going to the Philippines where his home country is. Which is why we requested from the start that we have our interview in Manila. I emailed Caracas and they informed us that they did have our case, and can forward the packet via pouch, to Manila.. which will take about 90 days! I spoke with the DOS and they said that usually it will go back to NVC, and they will forward it to Manila, but first I have to e mail Manila and ask them if they will take our case..
I have e mailed both embassys and am still waiting on replies. Has anyone needed to have their case forwarded to a different embassy than it was sent to? This is crazy that NVC's mistake is going to cost us 3 months... If there is anything I can do in the mean time, please let me know.
Thanks..
Megan

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSignatures and Dates on forms for interview
Thank you for your reply. I will not be there with him.. I have never had to send him anything to the Philippines yet because he was living in Aruba and I visited often. He can print my paystubs right off the internet.. So, the papers are definitely in the 4 month window. Guess we will be good. Thanks again

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSignatures and Dates on forms for interview
Yes, I know that... our original packet was sent in May 31st. I have updated letters of intent dated October.. is that OK? or does it need to be December since our interview is Dec?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSignatures and Dates on forms for interview
Just a question Ive been curious about. I have letters from my employer, and my letters of intent, all the forms I gave my fiancee are dated around Sept/October. We thought our interview was going to be sooner but because of some confusion with the embassys our interview isnt till the end of December. Is that OK that the papers I sent him are dated Sept/Oct? I realize I will have to send him updated pay stubs and our updated proof of relationship like my phone bills and chat logs etc. Hoping it is all still valid eventhough its a few months old. Thanks for your help star_smile.gif
