You don't have to do any vaccinations but at the time of the AOS you will have to have them down so you can get adjusted as they won't let you. The K-1 Visa is an non immigrantion visa it only becomes it when the marriage is done over here. The thing is DOS state tells you it's a good idea to do it back in your home country as most times it's going to be cheaper for you. good to know! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2009 K-1 Visa Filers	yeah I don't know how DHL works, but i found it wouldn't register EXP 27 OCT 2009A until today.... and those searched by EXP 26 OCT 2009A that listed 27th shipping date were not on the search for EXP 27 OCT 2009A today i found my package... and they told me it was sent yesterday ..so i used 'EXP 27 OCT 2009A' ... and my package was actually shipped today .. it came up on that list but it was under ship date 28th.. the reason I know its mine is because it's the only one for Montreal. so confusing... so for me.... search the EXP date of the day they told me but look ahead a day?..if that makes sense...... I won't have a place until a few weeks before I get there - which means after I have the visa. We just got approved for Military Housing. I got the same lady when I called to find out if it was there, she remembered me and was just as nice as the other day! She asked if I had the number to Montreal and because I didn't want to bother her I told her I didn't but that I could probably find it but she got it for me anyway.. people like HER make things less stressful...and I have to say whoever she is...thank you so much! Yes, I know the CSC people are probably telling us to stop complaining.. but .. I'm complaining about CSC too. When I was in Chicago, this last week, I met with someone from DOS and complained a huge amount about the torture this puts us all through and can't something be done??? She works with the Work/Travel visas, and has not control over all these other things, but she at least was willing to listen to me moan...
