The other place can get them to you in 2 days, but it's 60 bucks more, which would STILL pay for an extra day at the hotel you found. It would be very weird to me if Medisys got him his in 3 days, but took longer for yours. Oh, and remember. The HPV vaccine is no longer required so you wont need that. thanks, yes.. I was jumping for joy when the article came out.. I'm one of the ones that said I wouldn't be taking it even if it was still a requirement I have been pushing my doc for my vaccination list. I have all my shots up to date, even the tetanus one...just need the damn list from him. - I called the other place they still don't know if their doctor will be available but if they are I can have April 5th. Medisys needs 3 full business days................ my appointment is on the 8th. In order to get my results by April 7th at 12 noon - I need to have an appointment April 1st. But when he did his they told him 72 hours. As long as you have your medical 4 days before your interview(I wouldn't risk picking up your results the same day) I don't see a problem. Mathew still hasn't gotten his Christmas Card I sent out a month ago. His mom got hers just fine a week and a half ago. And she lives in the freaking north pole. Laval is 20 flippin minutes from Montreal and...grrrr. just grrrrrrr!!!! He'll probably get his P4 letter the day of the interview. F you, Canada Post. I hope someone puts wheaties in your underwear. EDIT: After my big rant I had Mathew go check his mail. It's there. LOL. I scared them and they rushed over to put that in there!!! And Maggie, Mathew went to Medisys and he says his medical was $213, and he got his results in 3 days. So plan for that. lmao .. good. Yeah I got mine yesterday so I would have assumed he'd have it before or the same time as me. I booked with Medisys.. for right now.. April 1st, 1:00pm. She told me I had to have April 1st to ensure I get the results in by April 8th Interview and that it was 215$. I'm waiting to get in with the other place, because they only need 48 hours to get me my results, so I could book for April 5th, but their medical is 275...but I would still save money. Canada	Prescriptions of the 'Ladies Only' kind... ifyouknowwhatimean	I did what was called the billings method.. for 10 years... without a pregnancy happening. I've never used birth control. Basically you track your cycle... On the I-134, number 3, where it asks "Relationship to Sponsor" - in regards to a co-sponsor (which would be my Aunt), what would she put? His relationship to me (fiance), or his relationship to her (er.. future nephew?? lol)?? And it's 3 years of tax returns for Montreal, correct? I'm not sure about the sponsor thing... It's still not 100% that he will be going but it is like 85%. there was a possibility he would be going in April and I would have been calling and emailing every day if that were the case! I will definitely be calling first thing in the morning! I was checking the forum quite a few times today. Seeing every one get their interview dates is giving me so much hope that i will be scheduled too. I was getting pretty worried. My fiance found out that he will probably be deployed to Afghanistan in August. I am glad I might be able to spend a few months with him. Hopefully we will be able to complete the AOS on time or at least not have anything for him to do as he might not be in the country! Canada	K-1 people waiting for interviews at Montreal	I need to take a poll please. Our original, preferred wedding date is April 9th. I'm not feeling too confident we'll be able to make that work with Montreal's scheduling situation. I already have deposits with vendors for April 9th, who will allow us to change our date and not forfeit our deposit, so long as they're given sufficient notice. If we decide to push our wedding date out, I don't think we be in any better predicament in May, or June for that matter, and I don't want to have to do this again (push our date back). I would like to know what everyone's gut feelings (obviously no one know for sure) are on August 9th. With a P3 log date of 11/25/09, do you feel that an 8/9/10 wedding date is safe? I would like to plan a date we can feel pretty darn comfortable with so our friends and family can make arrangements. Thanks for your opinions I would love to know what people think about this actually, because I'm logged with a PC date of 12/09/09 .. and our wedding has deposits down for April 25th, 2010. come february, If you don't get a March Interview, then I know I am probably not, and may not for april either so wedding would be out for April 25th, 2010 .. so Im going to keep an eye on you. April 25 was our first date choice, but then when we started looking at how long the process takes we moved the date to June, then my matron of honor told me her baby was going to be born that day, and now our date is July 11, 2010 which I am hoping will fit in with interview process at Montreal. I am praying for expedited interviews for ALL! Well, even if i don't end up with an interview before that, it won't be so bad. I'd really love it to work out that way and be there sooner rather than later lol.. but..everything can always be changed and adjusted =) July 11th, 2010 sounds wonderful, I hope it works out and you have a beautiful wedding day! I was hoping it was already there because next Monday is a federal holiday and I wanted the package to make it to Montreal when the office is open. The DHL packets of late have only been 2 pounds so hopefully they aren't getting too much new mail. There was one just before New Years was 9 pounds though. I am praying for a July 11, 2010 wedding date. I haven't paid my deposit on the church yet but I will likely do it next week. I already paid the deposit for my April 25th wedding.. This backlog was caused by an unforeseen and unpreventable staffing shortage. The Consulate is making every effort to reduce the backlog. The Consulate will be unable to complete your case until all the documents you were asked to collect have been submitted to them and reviewed by them. Canada	K-1 people waiting for interviews at Montreal	I just made my daily call, hoping to hear something different, especially since all the CR1/IR1 February interview scheduled (congrats to you all!), but no. I was told that I was the fifth person that's been eligible since the end of November from MTL that called today. She said MTL is in such bad shape they've gone and asked Washington for help. Then she included, not with the visas of course, but with other things. She still told me to call everyday and good luck that we hear something soon. Who knows what to believe when it comes to MTL. They're in bad shape, they're really trying to get through the backlog (told to a number of November interviewees), they've hired staff, they've asked Washington for help... This is ridiculous! I am particularly frustrated that the fee increased at the consulate by so much...right in the middle of our petition. I'm sorry that I'm not all that optimistic today. Maybe tomorrow. Hopefully some of us K1ers will hear something soon. Good luck to everyone. I know it's been frustrating... hopefully Novembers will get pushed out with interview dates soon. I was kind of hoping they would open up the East Coast Consulate train the staff as well when hiring the new staff for Montreal to help handle the interviews/backlog.
