K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Administrative Processing	Good evening all!   Just to get an idea of how long others have waited,how long were any of you in "Administrative Processing" for before you had your visa sent back to you? I have been in this process for a  while (3 weeks) ,just interested to know how long others have waited?    Thank you   43 days as of today... i know some who are waiting for 99 days already and 64 days... If your evidence is solid in other ways, just leave them out except for a few (I mean ten, not fifty) photos of the two of you together, with family, in the shared residence, etc. I printed out a couple pages of samples of Skype chats we had every couple weeks, so there are maybe 20 pages in my chat logs. Personally I'm convinced my husband is correct when he says that chat logs are basically something they could use against you. What if they interviewed you and asked you about something in the logs that you no longer remember talking about? "Pattern" means that you talked about living together, being in love, having a life together, consistently. you've got a point... it is best to choose what to print... and make sure you know everything...	lemajeca	Male	Philippines	2013-02-19 08:14:00

And should they span the full time that the couple has been interacting? Similar question for printing out emails. I can certainly "paint" all of the text from one chat and copy/paste into a text editor for printing. But to me, it's too easy to create a fake chat using that approach, which might cause an Immigration Officer to question the validity of chats printed from a text editor. So screen-printing the actual Skype or Messenger window seems to me to be more legitimate and less likely to be questioned. But maybe there's a direct way to print from the chat tools; that's what I'm looking for. havent found a shortcut... im doing the same thing.. print screen... paste it in paint... delete the side bars or browser menus.. then save... and will print later... i could just imagine, maybe like more than 50 pages...	lemajeca	Male	Philippines	2013-02-18 21:37:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Employment Letter- Not mentioning the annual salary	I'm pretty sure you'll need salary on the letter. If it doesn't show, you can always submit recent pay stubs. I just called NVC and the representative said it's no longer necessary. Remember you need your case number and bar code (appears when paid) to send your IV packet. I was saw many profiles on NVC March & April thread, as from the time a person submit DS-3032 to acceptance or respond from NVC is around <3 days. I assume they put on the subject line>> Supervisor review..... <<< so that's why it so fast. I was thinking about it but afraid they may rejected message cause of the time line. Yeah, it very difficult if you have co-sponsor or join and the worst part is, she live at different state. Also many feel uncomfortable showing their W2 to other even though in this case to sponsor you as her sister. It's called the American way.... Cheer up!!! be happy and everything will get done soon or later. nah i'm feeling worst now... my sister just called and tell me... In the mean time your husband should call IRS and obtain his taxes transcript for past 3yrs, this take 10+ days to receive from IRS. On your side if haven't done so, you should get your police clearance ready which in some country take a long time, because everything will be going to move in a fast pace. im already prepared with my requirements.. it's my husband that is not... and to my disappointment, i thought he hired a lawyer but she was only a paralegal and now we are doing the paperworks without her help. could you believe it? she didn't even inform my husband that he can pay online... my husband was about to send a check and good thing i was able to tell him he should rather pay it online otherwise the process will be delayed much longer... my husband just filed his taxes yesterday and my co sponsor was first hesitant to give us her W2... she is actually my sister leaving in texas... gathering the AOS supporting docs is truly stressing on my part... and telling them what to do, made them say that i am paranoid.. it upsets me but i have no choice... i wish they are on my shoes... but i know i gotta relax a little... next month is our anniversary and he wont be here on that day... but he'll come on a later date... may GOd bless me with strength... and peace of mind... So far the journey of my mother in law IR-5 USCIS approval email: 3/5/2013 NVC received our case: 3/11/2013 Call NVC on 3/8/2013 got a RUDE respond...and told to wait 15 days before case is assigned or entered to system. I didn't makes any more calls and waited till 3/25/2013, were told they had officially received our case 3/11/2013 but haven't yet enter in to the system. The operator said to give them another week or may be two but in alittle nicer tone thanks god!. NVC assigned case#: 3/27/2013 On 3/27/2013, received an email from NVC stating that they have entered our file in their system and an invoice will be generated within few days. << I filed G-1145 with I-130 so this is why I'm getting email from them >> AOS invoice and received by email: 3/29/2013 Paid AOS online $88: 3/29/2013 Emailed DS-3032 from beneficiary using template: 3/29/2013 Online AOS bill appear paid: 4/1/2013 DS-3032 acceptance via beneficiary email: 4/10/2013 << Took nearly 2 weeks >> AOS package sent: 4/11/2013 Waiting for....IV bill to be invoice so we can submit DS-230 << DS-3032 accepted on 4/10/2013 >> I use DS-3032 template and deleted all the Agent related wording and updated with updating email address for beneficiary in Subject line and body content. Sent on 3/27/2013. This also took exactly 2 weeks to get a acceptance respond. Reason I did this because to avoid the live phone call and I know it will put in system correctly instead of .....can you please repeat that...WHAT??? NO..uh...OK NOW spell that to me again bla...bla. I hope for case completion in mid May, I'm so tired of papers, documents, bla...bla. While filling out I-864/I-864A, I put myself as a sponsor on line 13 Part 2 and didn't realize until signing it . I know some of you may be tired, frustrated, read through the line fast to complete the form and at time over look little thing like this one and of course that mean RFE or reject. my DS-3032 acceptance just took 3 days only... It seems everyday brings something new when you're in the NVC stage. It is quick. If there is one, I strongly suggested you don't submit or send anything to NVC but to contact your lawyer explaining that you have received bla...bla...do you need to bring them in their office? and see what they say or guide you to next step. yes i will thanks. I'm here in the Philippines, my husband is in NY and i dont get in touched with the paralegal. I know my husband, if i try to ask the paralegal's number for sure he will get upset and start saying I dont believe in him... haaaaaaaaaaiiiist i'll just be the one who will figure this out... thank you for taking the time to reply to my posts... i appreciate it... Did your husband told them about case# has been assigned? and he should be paid that $88 through online if that fee is not included with attorney fees. But I think since your case was filed by an attorney he/she may or checked off him/her as your agent along with I-130, meaning all documents will be send directly to that law firm. i'm not really sure if our paralegal sent that form that informs USCIS that she is our agent or she is just helping my husband to prepare everything. it is just so disappointing that whenever i asked about it from my husband he would just tell me my paralegal knows everything whatsoever... so upsetting that he is so lazy to tell me what is going on with the process.. by this time I think he should be paying the bills but i think he havent since he wasnt able to contact this paralegal. my husband seems insensitive about what i feel... the stress of waiting to be with him for a very long time... i'm planning to call NVC to ask them if there is an attorney/paralegal on file... im not sure if they will answer my question...	lemajeca	Male	Philippines	2013-04-06 17:59:00

In the pass I used to work for many big laws firm and dealt with all kind of lawyers (big shoot and little one) in the state. Some but not all lawyers will go that extra miles to get thing done because they can't call each day to NVC for every case they work on, even their paralegal and secretary. I can see where your husband position even though he paid and hired a lawyer to represent him but he also doesn't want step on anyone toes and let the pros handle each step of entire journey, if you get my grip. Knowing and following VJ is a good thing but also have it bad side. Good side of VJ you can save $$$ from hiring a lawyer and shave off those extra weeks during NVC, bad side of VJ are some questions and answers may or may not be correct that applied to your position (some immigration documents can get confusing and frustrated at times) and by filling out or miss understood instructions will trigger your case to delay or even worst denial. What I am saying is that with a lawyer may delay only few weeks from POE but your husband can assure job done right. For others that never go through or down this road before it's a scary journey to be alone or where to even begin with. My words for you at this moment it should be spend with your family and put NVC aside, let the lawyer do their jobs it may not be done right away but either way it will get done. im wondering...is a paralegal a lawyer? can a paralegal be our choice of agent? coz im stucked whether i should send the choice of agent form. i havent sent any.	lemajeca	Male	Philippines	2013-04-06 17:39:00

Specially where you stand at this time. You say you have case number. I assume the beneficiary filled the DS-3032 and assigned the lawyer as the agent. (this is solely my understanding) With case number you might be as far as having paid the I-864 invoice by now. (I don't know if your lawyer pays this) I say its important to stay in contact. the thing is, it's my husband who is communicating with the lawyer... apparently it is true that hiring one can just cause additional delay since you wont really be prioritized... grrrr... the thing is my husband is more patient than me... and he doesnt like being pushed or even reminded everyday... grrr things are slightly complicated...	lemajeca	Male	Philippines	2013-04-05 23:33:00
