Will do and thanks :)

Oh and I didn’t include the instructions either, figured if they didn’t want the I-129F instructions they wouldn’t want the G-325A ones either.

Thanks for keeping up the timelines.

No one will get an RFE for not including the instructions to G-325a. The less paper they get the better except for proof of meeting at least once in the past two years.

I filed on the second of feb, got our NOA 1 at my parents house today

On your timeline, Add/Edit, there is a place for NOA1. If you could update that, it helps make a more accurate set of tables and listings for all here.

Thanks and good luck with your visa journey.

Haaaaaa ...I am a little confused there ! ( I only count one pdf at first ! )
I re-did the entire form after I read your answer, Now I have 2x 3 pages :

1st page : G325a form x2
2nd page: instruction x2
3rd page : additional sheet (job) x2

Does it sounds correct ?

Sometimes, I had to put "none" on the employment part, Am I suppose to specify my occupation ? I assume the answer is no but 2 opinions are better than one.
Ok I promess that is the last time I ask questions about I129F !

Congrats to those who received NOA1...I want one too !!!!!!!

You need two copies of G-325a per person meaning two pages for Petitioner, two pages for beneficiary. Also two copies of the additional sheet you need to include. You should probably clip or attach one passport style photo per person to a blank page behind the G-325a.
You do not need to do anything with the instruction pages other than read them and follow the directions.
The five papes refers to the old days when the G-325a pdf document used to be four identical pages of the same form so you submitted four copies of the form.
*** Important ***
I do not think you should sign one G-3235a page and then copy it. Make two pages of the G-325a and put an Original signature in PEN on each copy.

The thing that puzzles me is that I've seen people make reference to receiving their NOA1 via email. Surely you can't get a number without getting your NOA1, and without the number, how do you sign up for email alerts? lol

If your check is cashed before they send the NOA1, you look on the back of the check. Enter your WAC or EAC number and sign up for email updates. Then when they issue the NOA1 letter, I think you would also get an email update with the NOA1 information.

I do not know this to be a fact.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsFebruary 2010 Filers - California Service Center

Yup, I reported my own post :D

So the race is on, huh? lol.. How did you see the NOA1 was sent? I'm presuming the 'touch' yesterday was it, but dunno if it's arrived. Doubt it'll be that quick in the mail. I signed up for email notification too.

I don't get how people are receiving their NOA1 by email...

Ok, so through the USCIS web site you can do two kinds of things. This will just give you more ways to worry and keep checking the internet 5 times a day like you posted the other day. LOL

Go to www.uscis.gov (I hope it is legal to post outside links.) On the left hand side of the page are links.
one is "Check My Case Status"
click on this. You will be taken to a new page. Enter your WAC number. I think you did this and saw a circle marked that said Initial Review. If you read the text in the first paragraph, at least for me, it says,
"On February 8, 2010, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice."

I am assuming this refers to NOA1.

The second thing to do is to sign up for email notification (and you can even signup for SMS or text messaging notification).
Again from USCIS home page, on the left side click on "Sign-up for Case Updates"
This will take you to a page where you can register with USCIS to receive email updates. You need to pick a username, enter a password, give an email address, enter your WAC receipt number, etc...

You can PM (private message) me here if you have any questions about signing up for email notification. For that matter anyone can.

The race is on. I am hoping for smooth sailing with no RFEs for all.

I'm respectfully going to ask a mod to merge your post into it and see if they can take the subtitle off, so as to avoid confusion and keep us all in one place.

Welcome to the gang :)

Hi SunDrop. It looks like Kathryn did indeed merge the threads and removed Philippines.

I am looking at your timeline in the signature. You and I are going through at exactly the same times. My check was cashed and I saw it online today 02/11/2010. I got my WAC number and entered it in to the USCIS web site for email notifications. It looks like they have sent NOA1 out in the mail. But NOA1 not received yet.

Yeah CSC. Great job.

I sent my I-129F filing February 1, 2010. While the Post Office web site says the envelope was delivered February 8, 2010, I have not seen my check cashed nor an email version of NOA1.

Ask your USC fiance to use either USPS overnight or Fed-Ex overnight. Do not send it through the US Postal Service certified or registered. It slows it down.

Also write in large letters "I-129F" on the outside front of the envelope. This also will help in sorting and delivery at CSC. I did not know to do this. I have learned that in the past 10 days here on this web site.

Good Luck

You mean like ramen? They have those in the US, I know... my fiance lives on them when I'm not around! lol

No, they are somehow different from Ramen, although she does eat Ramen. But Thai packaged noodles have a different flavor. Many USCs on the Thai forum recommend buying lots of these for the fiancee until you can have her try different Thai restaurants and shop around at some of the Asian markets.

I think England might be closer to USA tastes in food and cooking.

And this time, I'm doing the same, except without the storage. It's 3 piles of "stuff to take with, stuff to sell and stuff to throw out." And the take with stuff has to be kept right down because I've learnt that there's actually very little that anyone needs to transport half way around the world. But when I sit and actually contemplate what I'm doing, it gets daunting. And exciting. But nevertheless quite scary.

I can't imagine doing this without having spent much time with my fiance, without having stepped foot in the US nevermind seeing where I'll be living, knowing his family and friends... kudos to all who are

Audy and I have not gotten to that stage yet.

I have wondered to myself how much stuff does she have, how much stuff does she want to bring to the USA, etc...I have read on other Thai only threads the kinds of things you should buy in Thailand to bring to the USA. All the specialized cooking implements they use, a red Bhuddhist altar built for the wall in your home, packages of freeze dried noodles in case she gets sick of "American food." If Audy comes in November like I am hoping, then she will need a lot of warm clothes. I need to buy her a heavy coat in Bangkok.

It will be interesting.

Hey Audy_Rob,

I sent our I-129F on 27 Jan '10 .... tracked it on the USPS website and it was delivered to CSC on 29 Jan ( but that was a Friday ) I just received the receipt yesterday from USPS and it was stamped USCIS 01 Feb '10 ( Monday ). Checked my bank account Wednesday 3 Feb '10 and they had cashed the check .... so I know somebody there has it. NOA1 is not here yet.

Hi bainbridge. I can see on the USPS web site that they delivered my I-129F package to CSC at 10:37 this morning, Feb 8. It took 7 full days. But that is only the info from the USPS. Now I need to wait for an email from CSC or to see my check cashed at my bank.

Wow, 63 days is fantastic. Congratulations on that part. I do not think we should all expect to be approved in 63 days. I think there is something special about your fiance(e) that CSC pushed it right through. :D

I am trying to become a Feb 2010 CSC filer. I mailed the I-129F package from the Post Office Certified return receipt requested on Monday, Feb 1, 2010. It is Friday, Feb 5. I have not got the receipt back from the Post Office, I keep entering the postal number in to their web-site and keep getting the same information, the package was accepted at my post office February 1.

I should have sent it Fed Ex overnight to get in the line and start processing. I am so paranoid that the whole package was lost and I will need to redo everything.

I will be able to join the Feb. 2010 CSC club after I see the receipt back from the post office, the check is casehed, and I get NOA1.

Good luck to all of us.

"Adjudicated" means to be judged or to be reviewed as in, a USCIS officer has adjudicated your petition and APPROVED it or a CO (Consular Officer) will adjudicate your visa application when you go for the interview.

Hi evey. It is actually more useful if you take the dates and descriptions and enter it into your "signature" box. Then it is automatically appended to each of your postings. You do not need to type it for each posting and others here can see your dates to see where you are in the process.

Go to your profile, select edit my profile. Look on the left side for change signature. Type in the dates and description to your signature.

Good luck.

Does my fiance have to send me the original copy of 1040? cos he just sent it to me via email

@ pookie123. If your fiance is sending you the 1040 instead of tax transcripts, you will need copies of the W-2's (wage statements) and all attached schedules for the 1040 which are often Schedules A (itemized deductions), B (Dividends and Interest over $1500), C (Self-employed income), D (Capital gains from the sale of stocks, bonds and the like).

Tax transcripts do not require W-2's as the information is in the transcript and the Schedules are not needed.

Good luck.

There are still some February filers who have not received NOA2 yet. Also, I am worried CSC has slowed down as last week I did not see many approvals, only 3 or 4.

Please add your timeline in your signature so you can be tracked by the VJ timeline. This will give you an idea of when your petition MAY be adjudicated.

Hi, I am a February filer but I stopped by because I am nosy.

Actually, you keep your timeline in your signature so people can quickly see the dates without clicking to get the OFFICIAL timeline.

Enter your official timeline to have it compiled in with the VJ statistics.

To enter an official timeline (I just made up the OFFICIAL part):
At the top of the page, click on Immigration Timelines,
Then click on Add/Edit My Timeline
Then enter your email address and a password
Now enter the date information to actually create the OFFICIAL timeline that is used to make the VJ statistics.
Most of you can enter,, Date I-129F sent, NOA1 Date.

OK ???

Good luck to all

Daniel, have you received NOA1 from the VSC. If so you should update your timeline here on VJ. You can go to Timelines, Add/Edit and put in your NOA1 date. This helps everyone keep track of things, well for VSC anyway. I am CSC.

This does not belong in ROC discussion. I reported this to a moderator already.

You need to supply a letter of explanation with documentation proving you have only been back for one tax year filing.

You might want to prepare to find a co-sponsor if you really meant the I-134 for the Embassy Interview. Hard to tell based on what you wrote.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion regarding touches

I saw it online lol in the last updated column the date is 01/27

Previously (in 2004) you had to register at the USCIS web-site for email contact to know it was touched. If I remember correctly, you could only do that after receiving a hardcopy of NOA1 and entering it at the USCIS site.

How do you see the status online when you do not know your file number (A number)?
Where online?
What do you use to look, last name, etc...???

Thanks

I also see that the fee increase is still propsed, not yet finalized. The US Embassy in Bangkok is still requesting the equivalent of US $131 to be paid in Thai baht to the Post Office in Thailand.

However I am gladly willing to pay the $335 for the application fee so that Audy and I can be married in the US and start a home here.

Just got off the phone with USCIS. The representative told me that they are currently working on I-129F cases dated May 16, 2010. She said because they are behind, my case is still not technically over processing time. Because it is not over processing time, the system does not allow her to make a service request. She said to call back in 2 weeks if I have not heard anything.

This is SO frustrating.

Say what??? Contact them in 2 more weeks if you have not heard anything - What the hell kind of response is that?!?!?!? They have lost their ever lovin minds up in CSC!!! Seriously, the USCIS site says 5 months for I-129F filings not 5 months plus 14 days!!!

They need to hire more staff to get these files out plain and simple. Supervisors, managers need to all be assisting the main processors to get this files moving. This wait is way too ridiculous!!!

A few months back when spoke with a rep at the Embassy in Nassau and he told me their side of process is that once an approval is uploaded into the system.
