IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresUsing a PO Box for I-130/I-485 packets

I used a PO Box for all our doings with USCIS. No problems. Just be consistent.

Thanks! This whole process can be a little daunting.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresUsing a PO Box for I-130/I-485 packets
Hello all.

Quick intro: my name is Christian. I am an American citizen currently engaged to Vietnamese woman that I met while attending college some time ago. She graduated this past semester, but I have another year to go. She's currently here on an F-1 visa enrolled in OPT, although she has been studying here since she was 16 (she's now 23), and has not been home for about 2 years. We're planning on getting married sometime in the next few months (small ceremony with immediate family and close friends).

Anyway, to the point of the thread, in preparation for all the paperwork and filing, I had thought it might be a good idea to invest in a PO Box for all the mailings. My thought is that since we will be living in apartments, and with as long as this process tends to drag out, it would be advantageous to maintain one unchanging mailing address. My concern is that some of the forms in both packets vary between having areas for physical address and mailing address and some, like the 485 and 765 only have one area for filling in an address. Is it okay to use the PO Box in the case where there is only one area for the address? If not, should I specify in the cover letter(s) for all mailings to be directed to said PO Box?

Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
