Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	RFE 751 Plz Help!!	Fahad, congrats on your wife's pregnancy! Exciting news! I think a letter from your wife's doctor using your name as a part of the paperwork could be useful. Did you send tax transcripts or just tax returns? Did you file as married, even if your wife didn't have any income? Tax transcripts can be requested from the IRS for free and you get those in a few days. Also affidavits are some things that I used in my package for my husband - one from a coworker, one from a friend from church, and another from our pastor at church. Can you get affidavits of your continuing and loving marriage from some people outside of your family? Also on the home front, I had purchased my home before I got married and I wrote a letter explaining that we couldn't get refinancing at this time. Getting a letter from whomever allows you to live where you live explaining your living arrangements could be more useful. I included a work directory listing my DH as my spouse. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 April 2012 filers	It took VSC 9 months to look at my ROC application, and N-400 is another 7-8 months in my area. I just wish they could better distribute their resources given how much money we pay for these applications. Just think otta, that once you finish your citizenship, you will not have to pay another fee to USCIS except to renew a passport (and I think that is a different agency. I know it is a lot of money to process our applications for ROC one year and Citizenship the next but I am looking forward to getting the citizenship taken care of for my DH so we don't have to worry about USCIS raising their application fees in the future. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 July 2012 filers	Is it just me or someone else on this thread have submitted statements and utilties since the date you got married or the date you got your conditional green card? I am concerned because I might be getting RFE since I only submit since I got the conditional green card, and not when I got married in April 2010. Go to your name up in the upper right corner, click on it, click settings, click the profile tab, then toward the bottom of the page it says "Immigration Status" and you can update yours there, then click save changes. My DH and I didn't have an interview and he was approved, so I am not sure that an interview would be necessary, but then again, who knows depending on your case. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 July 2012 filers	Nope, not a military case. I am a teacher. My DH who is from Canada is a machinist tool and die maker. I am just amazed! We had 3 affidavits and tax transcripts as our strongest evidence. This is just amazing. I wasn't expecting anything until March, April, or June. It is a great Christmas gift though! He went up today, arrived 30 minutes early, got in and out in about 15 minutes. He said no one else was there except the people doing the scanning and such. Now lots more waiting. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 July 2012 filers	DH tried to do a walk in at the ASC in Grand Rapids, MI on Aug. 17. There were 4 people in the 50 chairs (family with 2 kids). DH was turned away. Told he had to wait for the appointment date. I don't understand why in the world of computer scheduling, the government can't just let us chose the date we want to have biometrics on. We had been in Grand Rapids on Aug. 17 for other business and figured one 1.5 hour drive would be plenty. The date is September 7, 2012 for an appointment but DH is going to try a walkin this Friday since we are already planning to be up in Grand Rapids, MI anyway. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 July 2012 filers	My DH still hasn't gotten his biometrics letter. It takes 1.5 hours to get to the closest biometrics center. We are going to be in that city this Friday for another appointment. Hopefully we get the letter by Thursday so we can try a walk in when we are up in Grand Rapids, MI. Has any one else gotten the "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again." ? I like to at least have a clue if paperwork has been entered or not. The rest of the list looks like good evidence of you comingling of assets so hopefully all will be well. I am so happy. I was worried about my DH's ROC package, which I sent out Friday. It finally arrived in Laguna Niguel at the CSC today, July 31st at 10:48 a.m. Looking forward to getting my DH's NOA1. Probably don't need it, but that is the only thing I didn't see on your list. I didn't end up including anything with beneficiaries on it. We have life insurance, but I couldn't find any paperwork that listed the other as a beneficiary, so I just let it pass. Hopefully what I sent was enough. I have copies of my tax return from "taxslayer"? Please advise. Thanks I ordered my tax transcripts on 7/10 and they arrived today 7/16 so I would just request them from irs.gov just to be sure it is what the government sees as "official". I would be interested to know what has changed from the format that was used in 2009 which was EXP 31 DEC 2009A to whatever is used this year. Any body else had luck? Up until Dec. 31, 2009, I was able to use the following format EXP 31 DEC 2009A in the track by reference area of the dhl.com website to see what packages were sent to which embassies. You have no way of knowing if your package is actually in the shipment (the NVC just tells you what day it was shipped out on). I haven't been successful in seeing if there are any packages that have left the NVC in January. I have been using the format EXP 07 JAN 2010A Anybody that is good at the dhl.com website tracking know what should be used for this new year? Did they change the letter at the end of the list? Did I abbreviate the month correctly? I just want to keep up with how many pounds have been sent to the Montreal consulate each day. Dec. 31 had a 9 pound package sent. This website has awesome guides and people who have been through the different processes (K-1 come to U.S. to marry your American boy, K-3 get married in Canada then come to U.S. and another that I am not as familiar with IR-1 which I think has to do with getting married first (in Canada) then coming to the U.S.) I am the American girl who became engaged to a Canadian man and he is moving to the U.S. to be with me and we will marry in the U.S. in my current town.
