You never really know. A lot of petitions were filed in July because of the fee change on 7/30/07, so there may be a slowdown. That said, February is probably a little pessimistic, or realistic depending on who you talk to. I wish they would have processed my NOA1 in a more timely manner, I'd be in much better position if they did.

More issues here, the lady I spoke with today told me something different, its not RFE, SHE SAID ITS NOTICE OF "INDENTED DENIAL", whatever that means. Yeah, actually the concept of negative temperature is false. Absolute zero occurs at the point when all particles lose kinetic energy. This means that EVERYTHING is frozen, even air. Setting zero at the freezing point of water just allows for simplified approaches. Mathematics pertaining to fluid temperature either deal in temperature difference, where the "actual" temperature is irrelavent, or absolute temperature (Rankine or Kelvin), where the true energy capacity of the material is considered.

For ease of operation, water freezes at 0C and boils at 100 C, assuming that a pressure of 1 atmosphere is present in throughout the fluid.

Here are the steps for monitoring your package after the NOA2. I stole them from Scott n Yenifer on the Colombia Club Forum. whistling.gif

1. Once your I-129F is approved (NOA2), your case will
be forwarded to the National Visa Center. Normally
it will take about 1 to 2 weeks to get from CSC/VSC to NVC. (Note: VSC is frequently much faster than this and CSC is sometimes much slower.)
2. Start calling NVC everyday about 1 week after
your I-129F has been approved at: 603-334-0700
press 1 then 2. You will need to reach
a live person to get information on your case since
the NVC’s automated system does not handle K1 visas.
Give this person your receipt #, they will let you know
the status of your case, whether it has not yet been
received, already received, or already sent out to
the embassy. Once NVC receives your case, they
will assign a new case # that will begin with BGTXXXXXXXXXX.

A. If it has not been received.
Keep calling until they receive it. Don’t pay attention
to their script. They will tell you it may take 4 weeks
for them to receive your case.

B. If your case has been received.
Ask them when it was received and if it has been forwarded
to the embassy. If your case has been received but not
forwarded, wait 2 to 3 days from the day NVC received it
to call back and ask again. If it has been forwarded, most
often than not cases will be sent out in 2 days after NVC
receives it.

C. Once you know when your case has left NVC to the embassy you
can now calculate when it should arrive via DHL. It should not take very long but you can go to the DHL website and probably get an estimated transit time from the US to the city where the embassy is located. I think the petitions are shipped to the embassy from a NVC office in New Hampshire but I am not 100% sure of that. Your case will also arrive electronically from NVC to the embassy.

Just as a note to your information, in #2 the case number is said to start with BGT.... That will not be the case unless you will be going to the Bogota embassy. Sorry to correct, I just wanted to clarify.
