A) By air is the fastest and the best. I don't recommend bringing by ship since it takes longer time. Q) What's I-130? I have heard about highways I-95, I-84 etc.? A) Your GK is great. I-130 is kind of a route like you depicted, but speed limit is 1 to 2 mph! Q) Instead of sending petitioner's and beneficiary's individual photos, can we send just one group photo? A) Thank God! You didn't mention your grandpa and grandma in this group photo. Q) Some people say that photo must be placed in a small bag and label it. Why this small bag is needed? A) USCIS is short of bags. I've already filled out the DS-230, ready to go when I get to NVC. I've uploaded the document that I'll be sending in. I edited it a bit, but I think you'll get the idea. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Persistance Pays	@BrokenFamily - I hear where you are coming from and am not the type of person who wishes to cause any further backlogs in the system. Regarding your comment "you can check your bank to see if check was cashed to make sure they got paperwork"... we can't send a payment until we are invoiced for it, which hasn't happened yet. So, perhaps you thought we are in a different part of the process than we really are. The reason I was calling the NVC was to find out if they had assigned a case number and then to inform them that we wish to use email. Had I listened to the operator I spoke with yesterday and waited several weeks before calling again, we would have received an invoice via snail mail, which could add weeks to our process. Since we have already been apart for 15 months (due to some circumstances beyond our control that I won't go into right now), any amount of time I can shave off of the process by making a one minute (to the operator) phone call is very much worth "the dime" to us. My advice: This is supposed to be a supportive community. Call the NVC number. As soon as you hear the busy signal, end the call using end call button. Then hit redial right away. Do this until you get connected. I always get connected with 10 tries. Usually, it's more like 2 or 3 tries. This working during morning, night, evening, noon, etc. Maximum holding time I had to endure is 26 minutes. There is no colum in I-864 for adding the dependent of the Household Sponsor. But suppose if her father lives at other address and he is going to file I-864 as a co-sponsor then he will list his dependent children in Item#21 d & other dependents in Item#21 e. So here the household size will not be affected.Here her father is sharing his only personal income. About an hour later my case had its very first touch. Later that evening, I received the approval email. Like others have said, it varies. Some cases get touched everyday, while others have no touches...then their NOA2 shows up in the mail. I just got the NVC letter in the mail with the DS-3032 and the AOS invoice bill and I want to email the DS-3032 I think it might be a bit quicker than snail mail anyways, they included a DS-3032 already and I wanted to know do I have to use this one with a barcode on it and our case number or can we use a general one from the website as we already filled and signed one from there. There will be no need to submit any information pertaining to this until your I-130 is approved and is transferred to the National Visa Center.
