actually the explanation is truely, my friend does taxes and he is the one who did taxes for me, and he thought that i still am using my old address as my mailing address, so he put that address, and when i told him to put my new pne it was kinda too late

hey guys, sorry i cant keep up wit the posting, im sooo busy with work work and buses ughhh....but my hubbies interview is coming up in 18 days from today....the medical is done he just gets a vaccine on coming tuesdays, gs i am so happy for you and for all who got the visas big good luck for those whose interviews are coming up. i am going to print our pictures tomorrow and send them all out on tuesday hopefully...we dont have too many photos, when we were engaged, i didnt hav a camera, when we had our official marriage i was too excited to remember to take pictures...we didnt have our wedding yet....though we are married....this worries me a bit, i do have some pictures, of our honey moon, that is kinda all i got. i was shy about pictures all the timeand now im worried about this issue. but im keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best....need some prayers out there for us.......

hi guys, my hubbies interview is in 37 days counting from today, i am not counting in the hours yet, the more i count the more imapatient i get....this too shall pass, that is what im telling myself, just pray ing hard, so my hubby gets the visa.....Allah listened to ourprayers all through... i am soo grateful i was sooo paranoid about the nvc journey, but still cant get alll happy before i have my hubby right here with me....yet.. im happy for you GS and congrats for getting the visa coriann, every one else hang on there, good luck for your interviews........

i sent the aos and ds 230 on friday...i have called many times, they still havent recieved it. i did send it expedite, didnt know there was an option to certify it...i hope it all isnt lost, Allah forbid......um soooo scarrrred....ok ill be patient to hear the words at least "recieved"...then ill be patient for the words---case complete....aww this wait is sooo hard, havent seen my hubby for 364 days as of today....and my hubby hasnt seen our baby yet either, she is turning 8 months on the 16th......pray hard with me guys....i appreciate you all updating....

Yes..U(beneficiary) have to return the Packet 3 sent by the embassy ... u must include all the docs and duly filled up forms that is asked by the embassy in Packet 3...

Hi all,

we are really frustrated...Finally we got an RFE on DS 230 in AVR ... which says Missing/incomplete DS 230 after reviewing... I am almost crying...don't know what to do...No operators could tell us about the detail on the RFE as they are saying they are still reviewing our DS 230.... One of the operator also mentioned to disregard the RFE if we have already sent DS 230...then why is this RFE for?

Please need help guys, we called NVC several times....Good thing is they have already accepted our AOS packet...

Well our update as of today. I just called the NVC and they received I-864 and DS-230 on the 20th and it entered their system on the 23rd. Today the operator told me my I-864 was accepted as is and was fine and the DS-230 package is being reviewed so hopefully by the end of the week we will get our case complete. Now I am wondering, what should be done about the flipping interview matter!!! US Embassy Dhaka is not that much helpful as far as I know. Can anyone give me a draft letter which I can place a request at the embassy to flip my K3 interview to CR1.... Please help me guys...

Sonia,
There is no such draft letter to request embassy to filp your k3 interview to cr1. All you basically do is, once your cr1 file gets interview date and you know that your file will reach dhaka embassy before your k3 interview date, you just request embassy that you have cr1 also waiting for visa and I request you to issue cr1 visa under your k3 interview. But dont do it yet since you dont have cr1 interview date and your file is still at NVC. Most embassy dont request file from embassy and they dont flip k3 interview until they dont have cr1 file in there premises. I am also waiting to request mumbai consulate to issue cr1 visa on k3 interview date, but I will e-mail them once I know my file is on its way to consulate. I dont want to take risk by asking them in advance when my file is not there yet.

Problem is that, I am yet to recieve dates for both of my interviews, and more likely I will get interview at the pretty same time or a week difference between two. In addition, I must say, unlike US Embassy in India (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and others) Dhaka Embassy seems to be less reponsive and helpful.

So, whatsoever, we are going for CR1...Lets see where does destiny take us....

From my understanding, if there was a gap between when your AOS and DS-230, that they send a missing DS-230 RFE. From other posts that I have read, you can ignore this RFE since you have alreay sent it. I don't think you need to be worried at this moment.

Send the one from online payment. Many people received the same RFE even though there is case completed. I am one of those people. So, ignore the cheklist and send the documents you are suppose to send with DS230.

Hello Sonia,
No you dont notify NVC about your k3 and even if you notify them they cant do anything about fliping your k3 into cr1. To flip k3 into cr1 you have to ask ask dhaka embassy for the procedure. if your cr1 case is complete and nvc assign interview date on 2nd week of march for april then your file should reach dhaka embassy before your k3 interview date then you can ask dhaka embassy to perform cr1 interview date on k3 interview date. Mostly all consulate/embassy are willing to convert k3 into cr1 if cr1 file is in there premises.

One more thing, NVC is saying that they have put AOS in their system, does it mean that everythin is alright and that is why they have it in their system? Or they will start reviewing once they put everythin in their system?

My DS 230 packet was delivered on 20th (friday) but till now they r not in the system....Please someone tell me the steps...both of us (me and my husband) are really worried.....in addition, it was really hard part to get someone from NVC to enquire as they seems to be very busy...

Hi Sonia,
First of all, don't worry that much ! I feel your pain because I exactly had the same situation like yours in my case.
Even though I don't really know how NVC works, but from my case I understand that, they put the documents on their system first and then they start reviewing it. If they receive the AOS earlier than DS-230 then they just wait for the DS-230 to be received .Finally after getting all 2 packages they start reviewing. Usually it takes 5 business days to review the packages.

I hope there is no RFE and your case is gonna completed by Feb 27.

There is a simple rule...

AOS packet includes only Petitioner's docs(co-sponsors if needed)

DS 230 packet includes only Benificiary's docs...

Therefore, if u r not asked from NVC to include urs, then u don't need to send Orig. Birth Cert.
