Hii...

Well, 1% of the VJ members know about W7 and ITIN for the foreign spouse...and this can't be a issue for u to put on AP for any reason and being in the VJ journey, I read so many posts specially of those who was interviewed in Dhaka and never had a problem with this TAX issue....

Trust me, 99.999999% people get out of this visa issue without facing problem of joint tax return. So, u shouldn't be thinking much about this...Try to concentrate on other issues to proof ur relationship in front of CO...

Good Luck...

Sonia

thanks sonia...
i havent actually earned much some one will co sponsor with me, what are tax transcripts, i know the 1040 and w2. is anything more than those needed other than those two an employers letter of employment?

Tax transcripts are obtained from the IRS... Tax transcripts are good for showing ur past tax schedules...If u gonna have Co Sponsor, u must need to submit all the papers needed for the regular single sponsorer...Like the recent year's(2008) Federal Tax Return along with W2 and Employment Certificate. It is the best practise to submit the IRS transcript for the previous year's Tax records...

Please for the Linche shortcut for the IRS transcripts.

Good Luck

National Visa Center (Dept of State)DS 3032 - NVC
QUOTE (oceansea1 @ Mar 9 2009, 09:33 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi,

I have several questions regarding DS 3032 :

1. What is the way to find out that it's time to e-mail it/send it? By calling NVC and talking to the operator (NVC number has been assigned)?

2. Is e-mail the best option for sending it back to NVC?

3. How long it takes them to reply to the sent email?

Thanks in advance.

Hello..

1. Call them up, ask them if AOS bill and DS 3032 have been generated...Once it is generated, u can both email and send the hardcopy of DS3032 prescibed form filled up and signed by the beneficiary.

2. Email takes a week to get accepted while if u send it via priority mail, it takes only 2-3 days to get accepted.

3. Reply sent a week later.

Good Luck..

Well...gr8 to hear that they r sending interview letters through email...Though I read in this thread that they sent it when it is been scheduled, not by an inquiry by the applicant, I sent an email asking them for the date and email me the interview letter through email...

Thank you...

Well...I think that is more than enough....One more thing u can do instead of printing all the emails individually, make screen shots of the email list in the inbox and get it printed...Make sure the date and times with the reciepents name are visible...

Well, you should be fine. Not all accidents will occur in everyone's fate....

Anyways...my husband bought his ticket on 26th March, and the interview scheduled on 10th, and and the interview date was on 20th. So, I believe he gave enough time....still we got to know about the change only 2 weeks before the interview, was not fair enough...we had other plans...anyways...all's well that ends well....Lets see what happens...

Dear HSB,

My speculation says you will get a date on 18th or any of the later Mondays...Cuz, We all were moved from 20th to 27th and US Embassy Dhaka is really very slow....don't expect a date to be scheduled before the second day of second week of this month by the NVC(Although I am pretty confused which one to count as the 2nd week or April!!!)..But anyways.. Good Luck..Remember, once u were thinking that u gonna get your interview probabely on June/July but it is going to earlier than that time frame...This is how VJ is making our like more comfortable...Thanks to VisaJourney ....

Well...I was not in the similar situaiton...Based on, all the guides and stories here in VJ, I would suggest u to send the photos as soon as possible with the coversheet and a letter written from u explaining the situation...

Here is the shortcut things work...As u r already definite about the mistake u made, u try to minimize it as soon as possible. U really do not need to wait for NVC instruction. And why would u need that anyways?!!Cuz u know ur mistake...

I'm a full time college student and so I do not have sufficient income to support my husband alone. My aunt and uncle are cosponsoring me in support my husband. When I submitted the I-864A for my aunt NVC said that there was a problem with it, however, they could not tell me what the problem was until my case is complete. They also told me that whatever the problem was or if it was something missing that my husband would have to take it to the interview with him and that I didnot need to submit anything to NVC. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know what the problem could be? I looked over the copy of the I-864A that I sent, and I didnt make any mistakes on it, so I dont know what the problem could be. Any thoughts?

Dear Sanam,

Hope everything's fine with u...R u done with the NVC issue?

And for the papers, did u submit all the financial papers for ur aunt - like 2008 tax file along with last three years tax transcript? Also, make sure ur hubby carries back statement for the co-sponsors....really not sure what actually the problem is ... but once I went to embassy to submit my K3 packet 3 while I met few ppl who were given blue sheets to bring bank statement....

So like, provide as much supporting docs as u can...and don't expect much from the US embassy Dhaka, they r pretty famous for harrasing ppl...

Hei Sanam,

I am really curious...Why did ur husband changed his name?

But, I think he will be fine since all the papers have his new name....However, it is not only with ur husband, but everyone of us going to have our interview at US Embassy Dhaka may expect 3-6weeks waiting ..... It is entirely ur luck if u get out of it without a waiting....

Good Luck...

Sonia

Hi Sonia,

I agree that AP can be unpredictable and Dhaka embassy is normally very slow to respond in pre-interveiw process. But why do you believe there will be a 3-6 weeks waiting after interview? From most cases I seen, majority gets their visas after 1-2 days, alot of times on same day of interview. I beleive Shimool's wife got her day after interview, and my wife's friend had few friends who applied for CR1 and all got on same day or next day. Only way you may need to wait weeks or months is if you are put on AP, but have not personally heard of any females being put on AP at Dhaka and very few males. I am expecting you to receive the visa on same day or day after interview, and I am going to Bangladesh with similar expectations for my wife.

So just curious on the 3-6 weeks timeframe.

Well,

All I am saying about the worst cases...

U may not believe that, my best friend who had her interview on September 01, 2008 and got her passport back on November 13,2008. She was not given any blue sheet, a token where it said the November date to collect passport...So, they just took more than 2 and half months to get the passport stamped...It happened in front of me...Thats why I am scared....One more thing is that, when I went to submit my K3 papers to schedule an interview, I saw ppl who were actually given token to collect their passport on a two weeks later date....

Then again...I am telling u about the possibilities only...Just to make sure, I am not expecting much from Embassy...If they issue right away, I am more than fine with it..if they don't give my passport within couple of days, I won't be surprised...

My husband is with me...Hope this will help....

Good Luck..

National Visa Center (Dept of State)Case Completed!!!!!!!! Ya Baby!
QUOTE (HSB @ Mar 30 2009, 10:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Well, just as I was about to lose my mind worrying about RFE's, AP's at NVC, missing docs, etc etc.. I called NVC today preparing for another day of disappointment, but operator told me the 2 greatest words I have heard in this journey since "I do"..... "Case Completed!". I was so astonished I nearly fell of my chair. I couldn't believe it so I immediately called AVR afterwards to check, but unfortunately it still said case being reviewed. I got slightly worried again so I called another operator, and she confirmed my case was indeed completed on 3/30/09 and the AVR would be updated in 1-2 days. She said they are now trying to schedule interview, hopefully by 2nd week of April they can confirm a date!!

I am so excited, can't stop jumping up and down, after all this time hunting I can smell the interview now so close!!! All in all, NVC experience was not bad aside from the paranoia.... no RFE's and case was completed in 10 days after scanning of documents. So I have to give NVC it's due, did good and quick work and was responsive, unlike those scrubs at USCIS.

I want to thank all of you VJ'ers who have shared your input, without your advice I probably would have passed out from hypertension by now, lol. For all of you still waiting to hear those magic words, I guarantee you it's worth the wait, so keep being persistent!!

Now as I wait for the interview date, I am reminded that my I-129F packet 3 is collecting dust. I was wondering if it's a good idea now to submit the packet 3 for the K3 visa and try to get an interview through that method? Once the K3 is scheduled, I'm planning on swapping for the CR1. Is this still possible after the CR1 case is completed at NVC or am I too late and have to wait for the NVC to schedule the CR1 directly? If I have to wait for NVC, am I in time for a May interview date or should I expect June?

Thank you all again for your help and best wishes, and I'm here as always to help you guys with whatever I can.

Best,

HSB

Congratulation on case complation.

Well for K3 packet 3, I think, flipping method wont work with the Dhaka Embassy. My K3 is scheduled for an interview after my CR1 interview, even though I submitted my packet 3 couple of weeks before the CR1 interview was been scheduled. Please go to my profile to find the dates.

Otherwise, just stick to CR1. U should be getting a interview date in May as I said before good.gif ... It may be in May 11!!!!

Keep ur fingers crossed....

Good Luck, and pray for us as our interview is coming very soon.

National Visa Center (Dept of State)Interview coming up soon need advice
Hei Sanam,

Although I was not in the same sitaution at all, I can give u some very general idea from my experience at the interview.

On the interview day, u r required to submit ur docs (whatever they ask right at that moment) in one of the 3 windows, where u will see Bangladeshi lady taking that from u. U submit whatever form they ask and NVC asked u to submit. Then u wait for a while, when they end up checking ur docs, they will call for the real interview which is with any ohf the american CO. Two things matters at the time of interview - #1 : Your financial docs # 2 : proof of relation.

Here in US Embassy Dhaka, they only ask for photographs with ur spouse taken time to time. Make sure u answer all the question accurately and smartly...

U will be fine. But do not forget, husbands often have AP for name checks which may take 4-6 weeks or so....

Good Luck...

I know of no set form, you basically first write or call them, and then they will send u a form giving then authority to speak on your behalf for your case. You will need to explain to them your case details, like a introduction, tell them the problems, and ask what help they can be. Mostly they can only speak up showing their concern for your case they can not make decisions already made to change but hopefully can influence some kind of changes etc

in looking back at your timeline what are you expecting, faster? your in vermont so i would guess a good 6 months before your 2 at the least, it does seem to be moving..your rep wont be able to hurry this

Dear All,

For your information regarding my specific case, I filed the I-130 petition in June of 2007. Vermont received it on June 09, 2007 I got the first Notice of Action (NOA1) on June 16, 2007. Since I received that first Notice of Action I have received several RFEs which we had took actions accordingly.

Interestingly, whenever I want to check my case status online, it shows my application was received in June 16, 2008 and whenever I call USCIS helpline, I am always told that I am within the timeline considering the USCIS website. I have also filed a I-129f receipt number EAC 08-237-50204 in order to expedite my process, yet a very unfortunate of myself that while checking the case status online, it gives an validation error with a message that states “Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283”

I did not posted the date that I have in real in I-797C form, as I thought it could be a little humiliation of oursalves... We are probabely the only one couple who has this situation. We are no where in this race actually....

Pray for us..

Hi Buddies,

We have decided to contact with congressman since it is not going as we expected. So want to give a try. Can anyone give a letter templet so that I can rewrite and send to the congressman?

I am absolutely broken....Nothing is going anywhere good, no hope...

Google his website and call him. Senator worked better for me.

Senator Hillary will not be here in NY anymore. Therefore, we have to go for the congressman. We will eventually contact over phone and email them and will send that everything they want from us to move on.

Need a templet......
