K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	USCIS Approximate Processing Dates	I don't know but in Bangladesh, everyone goes through AP...he he he... this is really funny, very few ppl here are so intelligent to create terrorist activities wisely like the other ppl in better countries can do...no offence to anyone trust me...may be I am wrong, specially girls like me are far away from terrorism, but it won't wonder me if they say me I am on AP cuz my best friend got to wait 2 and half months to get her visa....she is even less active than me, she can't even spell terrorism, and mostly She is a DOCTOR.....most wise profession so far....	12345678	Female	Bangladesh	2009-01-10 11:51:00

I think the expedite only gets you finished with the initial approval part. I don't think it does anything to get you through NVC or the consulate interview part faster. There was one person that got expedited and at the consular level they were put into AP...so basically no benefit to them for the expedite. It all depends. I read about someone in the very first days of joining VJ...that is why i am unable to provide exact name of that member...His/her application was expedited through out the process...and, here esposadetucho is in the absolute life and death situation, financial loss and so on...There are some ways to expedite in NVC I believe...Should be conveyed them(NVC) in the same way u gonna do it with the VSC...Best of luck...I have doubt, how many of them in COSTA RICA are put on AP? rarely...am I wrong? not sure...if not visa in hand within a week or so..(well I know, in this specific case, every day counts) but, anyways..important thing is, approvals are coming...esposadetucho should get approval anytime soon even without the expeditation, I believe NVC ppl are more likely to be human beings unlike the VSC(who does not care about the emotion...), contact with them... So when we get tired of it, we try being creative and spend time different than talking. for example now I am teaching him to play chess over comp (yeah, my beloved scientist disn't even know the basic moves). to make it look real, we both have real chess boards, not the comp stuff. we get a glass of wine, get boards on the table, put cam on them, mic works, speakers work, so we pretend to have a games saturday evening in the family. when I go shopping, I come home and show the results of my quest. try clothes, model them on cam. I know for most of the ppl who didn't go through this kind of life sounds funny, pathetic, pittyful, but this is our life and we try to make the best out of it. also I realized doing other things than talking sometimes helps avoiding the arguments. Even when we dont talk about us we argue sometimes. on any topic. so some days, we just share coffee, music, play somth, play with cats, etc. everything in this beautiful virtual world of ours, ofc. Seems if I dont post for a while, I tend to write seminovel posts. appologies. but now back to party. who brings what? My fasting is over, but I kind of started a post-holidays diet. yeahhh, isn't my food life just great? enjoy life, Andreea I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE WRITTEN HERE!!! And I love novel posts!!! I think what you do is wonderful. I also get on webcam sometimes when my husband and I are both off from work. I also show him stuff I bought and model stuff LOL What else can we do? First of all, even 6 months before I used to do these model staffs, he used to praise me in all times no matter what I wore...now, he does not anything I wear...he he he...he even commented on my birthday outfit happens to really bad (which eventually liked a lot)...well....after that, I thought, no more photo sending....I am not anymore good enough for him..atleast over net.... Talking about chess..and playing other games, we tried in worldwinner.com....I used to loose the game in 4/5 moves, and he used to laugh at me...so why playing this? then again we also played 8 ball, though he is a good player but I won sometimes...which felt good, so he stopped playing with me . Rather, now a days, he is more into Bangla Movies which we consider to me comedy ones...cuz usually our actress weighs more than 100KG and heros are something aroung 90KG..I am telling u the average cases...it can 5 kg less or 30 kg more...he love seeing this movies...and pick up some really filmy dialogues and put on me...I get more screwed up... Talking about our Bengali culture, we almost have the similar to indians...But, indian do it in a good way, and bangladeshis can't do it becuz of budget constraints and also do not want use their head...The classic movies are more rich and so the songs are...but now a days, I don't know, something has happened really bad with Bengali culture, nothing creative, more into copying Indians movies. However, we have pretty cool drama serials. People from upper class to lower class tend to love them...the directors are really creative...using the best of themselves...not much influenced by the indians....But, origin of bangla and hindi culture is almost same, it is now the difference of presentation.... Sonia My husband used to write me the sweetest, most romantic emails before we got married. After we married, I got no more emails. I asked him why and his answer was, "I talk to you everyday and tell you how much I love you...why do I have to email you?" Then he says, "I got you now and you're stuck with me forever." I think they feel that now because they are married to us, they can get comfortable. They don't need to prove their love in the typical way. They prove it in more personal ways now...like surviving this waiting period for one! LoL...I love people into the same boat....He almost stopped emailing....and even if he does it sounds like he is doing some Bangla Cinema ...lol...man!!! I am shrewd tooo.............. Our fight is still going on...I called him twice and he showed me a gr8 mood....ok.. let him be like that...I won't bother him anymore...lets see what happens...u know, what was he doing? This distance is killing me....I know, I had fight becuz we are apart, absolutely depressed, destructed, divasted... My main issue here is.....guidance. I am in the need of a bit of guidance in some areas seeing as I don't have a clue when it comes to certain situations. Details below: Firstly, I live with my parents who are not very happy with my decision to marry my husband for their own personal reasons. I do not have a job and have completed my GED and am planning on starting college this new year. Therefor, my only source of income would be my parents, and also a friend of the family whom I manage a website for, we are almost like brother and sister and he has mostly taken care of my money needs since I was quite young. I read about the affidavits of support...which I believe are the same as a contract of sponsor/ship. Because of this I am quite confused on whether I will be able to apply for a visa for my husband. Seeing as I don't have a job, I may possibly have the option of a sponsor/affidavit of support. Which is where the problem arises. My parents will not, under any circumstances have any part of this, therefor they will not sign any sort of sponsorship contract/affidavit. The only person who will do this would be the friend of mine, he is my husbands distant relative also so he would be delighted to be the sponsor or write an affidavit of support. But, I do not know if this can be done. As I have read in several places that only someone living in the same household can sponsor someone for immigration/ make an affidavit of support in this case, either that or a boss or company that I work for I believe. If anyone could please shine some light on this subject I would be very grateful. I am very desperate to bring my husband nearer to me, and ever since I've come back to the U.S it is all I have been thinking about. If anyone could please help me find a solution to the income issue I would be very relieved. My husband and I want to buy an apartment in New York near his relatives and the friend I was talking about helping us with the sponsor contract. He is going to give my husband a very nice paying job the moment he comes here to help us out and my husband also has a business of his own from which he can already afford to take care of himself and I very well....so I do not see where the problem arises....we will certainly not be needing any sort of well-fare or anything of the sort. I just hope there was some way I could prove the same thing in my petition so that I won't be declined first thing. Secondly, "Evidence of a Bonifide Marriage"...ok, well the list of suggestions given on the site are pretty precise........but the problem is that I hadn't had much of a long marriage, in fact it is quite short and my stay with him was for less than 3 months in total after the marriage. Before it I stayed with my fathers family for somewhere around 3 months or so. Making for a total 6 months stay.... . So, I didn't really have much time to....idk...buy property, or lease an apartment or something so I don't have proof of that. But, I do have pictures of him and myself together....of our traditional pakistani wedding photo session, I could also get a few affidavits of friends and family no problem......but I don't really know how an affidavit should be written? If anyone could please post an example affidavit that I could use as an outline....or even just some tips on what sort of information everyone should include when they write the affidavit's other then their own signatures? Thirdly, whats the chance of my husband "getting" a visit visa to come and visit me in Detroit, MI? He is 21, technically a student and owns his own business in Pakistan and has never traveled outside of Pakistan since he was around 4-5....before that he lived In UAE (and was also born there). I just want to know if he could come on a visit or tourist visa...and what the chances are of him actually applying and "getting" one. What are the requirements, and what is the procedure like...and would it hurt our chances with the K3 visa? Also, just round-about how much would it cost? What would he need....and resources that anyone could point me to? I just want him to come here and stay for a month or two to see me and also so that he can meet his relatives too. If this isn't possible, or it might run the risk of hurting our chances with the visa then never mind it completely.....but I thought I'd just ask seeing as we both want it so badly. and Lastly, I know that the fee for petitioning and filing the I-130 is $355.00, but I was wondering if that is the total fee....or the complete amount I should be sending with the documents. Are there any other fee's I should be including besides this? Like the fee for I-485? What I am planning to include in/with my Petition: 1. I-130 2. G-325a 3. I-864 4. I-485 (Is there a fee???) 5. 2 wedding pictures of us together. 6. Sponsorship contract (hopefully) 7. 2-3 signed Affidavits (proof of bonifide marriage) 8. Check in the amount of $355.00 9. Cover letter listing everything included in the order it is placed, plus the contact information of petitioner and spouse. 10. 2 2x2 pictures of my spouse, in plastic bag and labeled. 11. Copy of both of our passports (biographical page as well as entry stamps) 12. Copy of both of our birth certificates. 13. Copy of spouses I-94(What is this????) 14. Today, I received an email from Embassy which says the following: Dear Ms. Sonia: Thank you for contacting us. We scheduled you for a K3 visa interview on April 29, 2009 and we issued the appointment package (Interview letter, list of documents required for interview, form DS-230, medical instructions and photograph instructions. If you do not receive the interview letter by March 29, 2009 you or an authorized person can come to the Consular Section on any working day (Sunday-Thursday) between 8.30-9.00 a.m. with a copy of this e-mail and we will hand deliver the interview letter. We hope the above information is helpful. Regards. Immigration Visa Unit Consular Section U.S. Embassy Dhaka, Bangladesh He he he...This K3 became absolute worthless...One reason is that we applied shortcut Methods at NVC which made our CR1 move faster than the embassy...Anyways....Atleast I don't have to deal with the flip issue(Although I really wanted an earlier date as I submitted the K3 packet way earlier than we were completed the NVC). Well, Since I do understand her eagerness to make this case complete as early as possible, one thing that u can do about ur BC, write down a letter to the NVC explaining the matter, and it seems more justified when it shows that ur husband can't be 12/13 years old, rather date of birth more matches with him which is 01/01/86. and for PCC, best thing u can do is to send them a scanned copy. I understand that, it takes a month or two to acquire the PCC, but all I came to know from many of us @ VJ that u can't get ur case completed without submitting these papers. One problem is that, u might have prepared ur self for the VJ Short Cuts (Linche, James and others), but unfortunately u missed the Step 0 which u should had done before getting the NOA2, as a consequence, u r now facing such problems. Turned out the thing we were "missing" was the entire DS-230!! Like you - we had been waiting for one of my police checks. We had not even sent the DS-230 yet so we thought maybe it was to do with the I-864. Seems like this may be the same in your case. The only way to really know is call back until you get an operator who can explain it! The AVR is usually a day or two behind and sometimes makes things sound worse than they are! Agreed 100%!!!! I also had the same RFE, which was after our I-864 was accepted and DS 230 was under review...So don't worry, I am sure that is not an RFE from AOS, it is a general RFE, many of us experienced the same, and got accepted right after the RFE was generated... National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Getting an Interview	Hi ... Yeah.. NOA2 is the Approval of I 130 given by the USCIS... After approval, u have to deal with NVC for AOS,DS 230 and payment issues..Once u r done with NVC, they will schedule an interview date with the Embassy's consent and u and ur hubby will be notified. Also, look into my CR1 steps to get idea about the NVC process..and for more detail please browse through the wiki guides...
