I am sure they will take 10 days or so to receive the info. It seems they always have a way around things. Like how they won't undate the processing times on the website. God forbid they get phone calls from people who are out of the processing times. My husband is bummed out. He just wants to be here with me. Yesterday his motorcycle broke down and now he needs to take 2 buses to get to work everyday. I feel bad that I can't be there for him. hey Jen! It just seems like it is one thing after another..... Keep the faith, this immigration nightmare will be over very soon and we will be reunited with our familes. We need to hook up on FB... we all need to keep in touch such that we can laugh over all these trials and tribulations this time next year You will find me with my full name Sonia Sharmin Diana, in the facebook...However, it is currently deactivated, becuz everyone everytime asks me the same damn question " where r u going to US?" K3 could do the same, of course. Changing the passport is probably the hardest part. If it's easier to change the passport in your home country than through their Embassy or Consulate in the US, do it before the visa is issued. In any case there is a chance my wife will continue keep her original name even after she reaches the US but in case she decides to change it, we will probably do it during her citizenship process (when a name change can be done relatively painlessly and she gets all new documents including passport, social security card, etc with her new name). K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	DS 3032 Form	So bottom line is...For Choice of Agent form, I just mention my case number in the top of the form and send it to NVC, barcode is not mandatory.... Lets discuss something which may irritate some ppl as I know it will be stupid of me....but what if I send the Choice of Agent form before it is generated....like, from here in Bangladesh it takes 3 working days for fedex to deliver documents to US, and after a case number is assigned, sometimes it takes longer to generate AOS bill and Choice of Agent...in such situation, does NVC accepts the shipment and conserves it for when it is needed? Friends...I never knew that, getting approval means such a heppiness...I am happy to be approved though I know that fact that I am only half way done, but atleast I am out of VSC....thats a gr8 relief itself.... More approvals are coming...Cross ur fingers....and pray to God.... So how did he find out you were approved? before he called the USCIS office with you on conference call? He keeps calling USCIS time to time....Today coming back from work..he made the call to enquire about our I129f...then got the news.... Then he called me and gave the news, I did not believe as the case status online did not changed till I slept and my hubby was saying it was approved on January 19th..then we had a conference call....where he talked and I was hearing and crying eventually.... Fortunately or unfortunately, my I129f was never in the USCIS system...so my hubby told them that, and the rep transferred the call to the supervisor where he he said that I-129f was approved 2 days back..Then my hubby asked that we also have a I-130, and he replied that is also approved at the same day.. He called in the 1-800 regular number.... Please call for urself to know about the status of ur case, and best to talk to the supervisor, not the rep.... My hubby then called the NVC, where our K3 visa number was generated and asked to call them on friday or the monday to get the I130 case number (which is not yet been generated for some reason). Hello everyone....I think I got an approval, my husband called USCIS and talked to a supervisor and been conveyed that both of our cases....then he called me and let me on the third line and called USCIS, first rep was telling generic info on webpage, he was like ok I was told I was approved...then he was transfered to super, that super said both of our files were approved 2 days back which is 19th.... My hubby have not got the hardcopy of NOA2 yet...neither our status changed over net....this is what supervisor said in two different times.... When we knew that we were approved on 19th/20th (we have not received NOA2 neither my case status changed), my speculation said that the NVC should have got it by 22nd..so I asked my hubby to call @ NVC and we found that they just received our cases where I got K3 visa number and yet to receive CR1 visa ....which should be given by today.... Hope more approvals are coming up.... I have just seen the USCIS update of timeline...this is so stupid of them...as of Nov 30 they processed April 01, 2008? Weird....they are really pain in A$$.... One of those got approved wants her case to delay for one year at NVC....Ppl who get it, then don't want it...It is from one of the august I-130 filers. One of the November filer of VSC screaming to get approval soon by this week as he was transfered....
