Looks like we all could use some touches, no action for anyone so far. Thanks for posting on this thread. I know this is giving me some peace of mind knowing we're all going through the same thing B) . Now, if you guys start getting touched and approved without me  I'll know somethings up. Good luck to us all!!

Maybe some of you would like to edit your signature to include "touches". Just go click on your screen name and go to the bottom. "edit my signature" it would help in keeping track.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresTips on Letter to a congressman
Man, they need to have contracted Visa adjudication companies. Maybe we can start one and compete with USCIS for business. Then the monopoly would be over and they would have to do things a little better with a little accountability . kind of like airport security. First it was government run and handed over to private (I think).

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresTips on Letter to a congressman
I understand your need to get help from your congressman. Waiting 1 week is too long in my book. However, one should keep in mind that you are well within processing times. All cases are different, and yes, some do get approved before others. It's hard to see the lucky ones get approved when you've been waiting longer, it doesn't seem fair. In my opinion, I would wait until you had solid reason to request there help. First impressions mean everything in life. You don't want yours to be unnecessary. I also understand that maybe you are just planting a seed in there minds for later help. I'm not sure if that will work. I copied a sample of the letter on this site incase of future need. So, thank you!! you did a good job on provoking the information. Sometimes information gets buried too deep in the pages. Good luck to you! and keep the faith. You will be approved in due time, your time.

(man I hope this post is uncontroversial!! we'll see :D )

I get frustrated when I see July people moaning about USCIS when the March/April peeps are pretty patient. Frustrated but not posting & whining. No offense meant, just trying to keep others' feelings in mind...hence, the reason I never posted a thread when I got my NOA2.

Sorry about the other post. I think I miss understood what you were saying.

I understand why we are still having March NOA1's waiting for approvals. It's because they had to wait for the implementation of IMBRA and there now waiting for the backlog to clear up. It definatly was a bad time to file a petition.

All I'm saying now. Is USCIS has the IMBRA RFE's and they should be approving at a higher rate. So, let's get a move on USCIS. You have everything you need, so get to getting some approvals.

I just thought we would see a higher rate of approvals, sooner than later. I know that we will all get approved, and the NOA2's are coming. "I put my trust in a higher power".

I've tried my best to make since out of a crazy screwed up process. I've tried my best to give sanity back to the insane. I have no problem waiting my turn. The only thing that discourages me in just the little bit. Is the slow or lack of approvals. At this rate they'll still be processing the Marchers in December!! #######!! They should be cranking these things out like 10 a day or more. Maybe some other forum is having all the luck. Maybe it's just coincidence that we've (VJ) only had 1 approval today (I think). This is where I throw my hands up in the air and say "#######!!" where are all the approvals?????

I just expected to see approvals at a faster rate and needed to vent for everyone.

P.S. I still believe in the within 60 day theory, but damn!! sooner than later would be nice.

See why we are all venting so much. There is no true answers, logic, or fairness. It only gets worse with each passing day.

wolf

I'm buying a Ticket to see my baby too!! I'm getting it for October. I hope to hear something before then. I only wanted to buy one ticket and that was for the Interview. I was hoping for a November interview. At this rate, who knows. The good thing about buying the ticket now is it's cheaper. If we end up hearing something I can always move the ticket to a later date for a small price. If we don't hear anything, ohh well!! I guess I'll have to buy two tickets and go twice. No problem when trying to build a nest egg for a marriage. right?? but I have to see my baby!!

Well, I guess this is one case where the IMBRA delay has been a blessing. Just imagine, if not for the delay your fiancee wouldn't have been here on a visitors visa, it would have been the K-1 visa. You would be married by now. So, I guess it's a small blessing that you were able to figure this out before the marriage. Good luck on the rest of your lives

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduressupplement letter for question 18 on I-129F
It's supposed to be the explanation of how you met in person within the last 2 years, not your entire love story. You'll have your chance to prove that in the interview. Just keep it to the facts of how you saw eachother within the two year period. Maybe add an opening sentence of how you met, then a paragraph on the meeting that took place, then a closing sentence of when you got engaged. this should cover everything. Then send in your evidence to back up your statement of meeting in person.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAnyone K-1 over 100 days from CSC?
I know I'm out of my juristiction here. I just wanted to give you all some hope. I posted this in another thread. Thinking about it like this makes me feel better, knowing that there's a certain time on this thing.

It's unfortunate for everyone who got caught up in the IMBRA fiasco. However, I do believe it's going by RFE date now. Some cases are going quicker than others, every case is different. The USCIS started things over after March 6th. When they get the RFE back, they give themselves 60 days to adjudicate the petition. If you are under 60 days of processing the IMBRA RFE, then you are within the timeframe and unfortunately... on schedule. I think everyone will hear something by the end of the 60 days, if not then you can call for answers. It sucks!! but if you view it from this perspective, then you should have faith that it won't be much longer.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhat's up with the K1 process...

I guess you should see in a sence that once your petition is appproved then it wont take long to get your fiance to USA. the post-approval period is much quicker than pre-approval timeline. I know people wont agree with me in this matter. It lot depends upon the benificiary country. But if we see the timeline for people from non-red flaged countries, their visa is issued in average two to three months as compared to countries like mine :( I have been waitting for the fkn interview date and they havent given us one yet. if you see my timeline then you can well imagine that how long would it take to the interview date. they would give us time to prepare for the additional docs for an interview, which menas the process seems to be going well beyond the end of this yearr. :(

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSorry, just venting

AndyMisiu - Glad to see you back even just for a cameo shot! Nice post. I wish the process was somewhat normalized between VSC and CSC being they are government agencies processing the same type of petitions (meaning K1). I believe that is what possibly get's under people's skin along with a few other choice problems at CSC. Yes, the recalls of folks already approved was the most callus act that I have seen in a long time from a government agency initiating a process and made absolutely no sense, in my opinion. It's hard for me and I'm presuming many others to separate their emotions from this community that we have trusted ourselves into. It's like a fellowship... and I fell like I have a bond of friendship with a few of the good folks here on VJ. Well that's enough for now... Cheers!!!

yea! true that!

In my fellowship we realize that everything happens for a reason, and it's not always what we want.

No, in fact I read up on the posts and knew that the CSC was terrible, so even though I was supposed to file with them, I said screw that and demanded that the VSC handle my case...after all...I'm a USC and deserve better treatment than this! I just gave them my phone number to call in case there was any problems with either that or not being "completely" divorced yet...the director called me yesterday and it's all good..I am a USC after all!

HAHAHA! All that and not one period. After all...you are a...moron.

MRC,

You swine. You vulgar little maggot. You worthless bag of filth.

You are a canker. A sore that won't go away. You're a putrescent mass, a walking vomit. You are a spineless little worm deserving nothing but the profoundest contempt. You are a jerk, a cad, a weasel, a whining little ####### (oh boo hoo look at me...I can't stand to wait sooo long). Your life is a monument to stupidity. You are a stench, a revulsion, a big suck on a sour lemon.

You are a bleating foal, a curdled staggering mutant dwarf smeared richly with the effluvia and offal accompanying your alleged birth into this world. An insensate, blinking calf, meaningful to nobody, abandoned by the puke-drooling, giggling beast who sired you and then killed himself in recognition of what he had done. Your daddy was a #######, your mamma was a #######, and you wouldn't be here if the rubber hadn't tore. I will never get over the embarrassment of belonging to the same species as you. You are a monster, an ogre, a malformity. I barf at the very thought of you.

You have all the appeal of a booger. Lepers avoid you. You are vile, worthless, less than nothing. You are a weed, a fungus, the dregs of this earth. And did I mention you smell?

You snail-skulled little rabbit. Would that a hawk pick you up, drive its beak into your brain, and upon finding it rancid set you loose to fly briefly before spattering the ocean rocks with the frothy pink shame of your ignoble blood.

May you choke on the queasy, convulsing nausea of your own trite, foolish beliefs. You are weary, stale, flat and unprofitable. You are grimy, squalid, nasty and profane. You are foul and disgusting. You're a fool, an ignoramus. Monkeys look down on you. Sheep won't have sex with you--only trash such as yourself.

You are unreservedly pathetic, starved for attention, and lost in a land that reality forgot.

BTW...I did your fiance! :diablo:

Ciao

Well, I thought I would add my two cents (in and then out, stealth mode)

I feel that we all know each case is different. Some cases are approved at a faster rate for whatever reason. It's just the way it is. We all know that VSC is faster at approving petitions. I think that's a fact we all walk into when first filing. Different service centers have different processing times. It is what it is. You can't compare yourself to something you know is different. VSC should compare to VSC and CSC to CSC, and so on.

If it's usual for VSC to process petitions is less than 3 months and you have a VSC petition thats outside of that norm., I think you should be able to post on here, #######!! without someone questioning it. The reason being, you are comparing yourself to what you are seeing from others in your same situation. Maybe you are looking for responses from others in your same situation.

If you are a dog you compare yourself to other dogs, you don't ask why you can't fly, your not a bird.

Different states have different taxes, different schooling, different gas prices, etc... It is what it is. I know that I might move to PA because the housing is less expensive then MD.

Maybe there should be separate forums for each service center, or maybe we should just keep in mind that we are different and shouldn't be compared.

I think that everyone has the right to post whatever they want. I personally do not invest emotions into what happens on this site. I simply use it for what it is, a TOOL. Not my life. I can't control what's happening to my petition or anyone elses. All I can do is align my emotions with my fiancee's and understand that this is an unpredictable, changing, and Potentially a LONG wait. We both need to understand that. And if your just entering this process with your fiancee, you need to understand that as well.

I think it's unfair that the process changed the way it did in the middle of so many's petitions. It's horrible to think about the approvals that were handed out only to be recalled due to a change in law, it's a horrible thought. I would have been crushed if this happened to me. The people waiting for months and months had no idea they would be waiting this long, it just changed with little or no warning. Let this be a lesson to everyone, that this is an ever-changing process with no stability, and unfortunately.... It is what it is.

I'm sure this post will raise some eyebrows but it's been 7 day's since my last post. Just thought I would get a little involved.

Good luck to everyone!!!

I would think it would be a wrong answer to a question that could come from left field. I would just make sure that your clear on every aspect of your relationship, and that you know everything about each other. For the most part it's a pretty straight forward process from what I read. It all comes down to the strength of the relationship and the proof. The USCIS lists what you need to comply with. Just follow what they say and don't choke in the interview. Good luck!!! I'm sure the relationship is sincere so you shouldn't have much to worry about.
