K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedurestax transcripts
I actually made copies of my W2's and 1040's and had them notarized by a notary. The G325 says to have them notarized, but transcripts should be fine. And from what I read earlier, someone just sent the copies and they were fine. Good Luck.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresevidence
Just for anyone reading this and is gathering evidence. The best evidence is a time stamped photograph of you both standing in front of a town-name. Like a border sign, airport..... etc....

Of course there is plenty of other evidence you'll need to send....... plane tickets, and everything else others suggest.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhen the K-1 Visa is given, am I required to escort my Fiance back to the US?
I was with my now wife when she entered the country. She really appreciated the opportunity I had to be with her. It's a very nerve racking experience and she wanted everything to go right. She was really happy with the support and comfort of me being their. Not to mention the excitement of being on the plane together when it finally happend. But she should be fine either way.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 Petition is pending...
Hey! just relax and move forward. What's done is done!! If you need something more the USCIS will ask you for it, a small delay will most likely go unnoticed in this drawn out process. I have the same issue you do with the short relationship, however I'm not worried about it. If this draws a red flag I believe honesty will prevail. A question might be asked in the interview of why your fiancee agreed to marriage in such a short time. I think you already answered the question in your post!! good luck!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhy uscis so slow after receiving RFE reply?

you have up until 60 days from the receipt of your IMBRA RFE at USCIS for an approval. Baring any other circumstances. Your time will come just be patient and prepare for a 60 day wait, anything under that is a blessing.

Really?? where does it say that? I'm not the USC so haven't seen any of the RFE notices...

I believe it's on the RFE itself. This is also the response being given by USCIS customer service reps when you call.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFast CSC approvals?
I don't think anyone knows what's going on over in CSC land or USCIS land for that matter. It's great to be optimistic and hope for the best. I would advise you prepare for the worst and a long wait, anything under that is a blessing. If you and your fiancee get it in your head that it's going to be a long wait you can prepare emotionally and your lives will be easier day in and day out. Good Luck!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAround 35-40+ days for approval

You may have something there Andy, I noticed that you have been tracking that statistic.

I also noted that March filers have been getting some attention lately. Could be something there too.

Just incase you haven't noticed, lately it's been taking around 35-45+ days for approval after IMBRA RFE receipt. Just remember every case is different. Some quicker and some slower. For everyone who has NOA1's in the last month, relax!! it's a long ride. Don't get your hopes up too high for quick approvals just to be let down. Hang in there everyone the approvals are coming!! try to enjoy your weekend!!

Thanks William33!! I think there might be some method to there (USCIS) madness!!! I mean, how screwed up could they really be? it's not like it's some kind of sweat shop!! and I'm sure it's a crazy amount of petitions there dealing with. Either way!! everyone will get there NOA2 soon!! good luck to you all!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures2 MONTHS SINCE NO1 YET NO RFE....WHO IS IN THE SAME BOAT?
You should be fine. A transfer always takes some time. I would think that USCIS has gotten there act together and wouldn't be sending IMBRA RFE's to petitioners who used the new I-129F form. In your case it might be a good idea to call just to make sure the transfer went smoothly. All in all, your within processing time and it's normal. LOL!!

I wish I had returned the RFE sooner. Sadly we had to wait until the 19th to send it back and they sent the confimation email on the 28th.... so I really hope they process my case sometime this month!

Anyone out there with RFE from around the 28th????

Good luck to all of us as we deserve to hear some good news

Yea! mine was July 28th, I have a unique situation though!! we'll see how it goes, I expect mine to be in late August early September.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresToo much VJ
What has happened to me?? I used to have morals!! I used to have a life!! I remember jumping on Yodrak one time for being too Confrontational on this site. And look what happened to me, just 2 weeks later. I'm the one posting unnecessary threads, getting involved in controversy, and spending too much time on this site for the wrong reasons.

At first it was cool. I was in the middle of the process, gathering my papers, sending them in, asking questions, learning about IMBRA, waiting for NOA1, getting RFE's, and so on. Now I'm at a stale mate like everyone else. I keep coming to this site to stay connected with the process and vicariously to my fiancee.

Now that I have no more questions until I get the NOA2. I find myself getting too involved with this site and too wrapped up in the process. I'm bored with the normal things about this site and lately have been keeping my interest by proving theory's that don't even matter. Who do I think I am?? what am I doing??

I think I need to take a step back and remember why I'm here. I'm here to get advise from people who have been through what I'm heading into, and I'm here to give back the advise that I've gotten to the newbie.

I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for getting too involved, sorry for controversy, sorry if I've made anyone upset, sorry for being opinionated on others feelings, and sorry for not giving back the way I should be.

For now on I'm back to the basics! to ask and answer questions concerning the I-129F process.

God bless you all!! and good luck!!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresneed advice here

Per USCIS processing times web-page for every service center. The USCIS gives themselves 60 days to process an RFE. If you are outside the 60 days they ask you to call them. If you are within 60 days than patience is all you can do at this point.

Actually if you call them their recording says 30-45 days to process this type of case, but if you were approved previously then "less than the maximum stated in this message" (45). I'm on 43rd day after RFE with prior approval (165 or so since NOA1) with no 'touches'. The way it's going now, I don't particularly think that it will get here by day 60. ..Oh and if it doesn't, and you try calling them they will say (personal experience) "Well did you count the weekends?"

Because when someone says '45 days' Everyone knows they really mean about 57 counting weekends right?

This is true. But i want to know is it 60 days including weekends ? or 60 business days only? and really i don't think they do much after the 60 days anyway. Do they?

AJ1

your quess is as good as mine  I have no clue what they do. I can only tell you what I read.

If the birth certificate is not in English, it can either be translated by a professional translator or it can even be translated by anyone who is fluent in both the languages (other than the beneficiary for whom it is being prepared).

It must be translated word to word and it should say at the end,

I, (translators name), certify that I am fluent in the English and (native language name) languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate taranslation of the docmument entitled (document title).
