US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	When can we apply online for Interview / Biometrics K-1 Visa Mumbai, India?	Please help me I'm so confused!!!   We are filing for K-1 visa and our interview location is Mumbai, India.   So my fiancee got a letter saying that he has to get the PCC and the medical done first and then we can go online and schedule an appointment for an interview/biometrics.   However usatraveldocs website says that the medical must be before 4-7 days before the interview. Obviously we will not get an interview that early. So what is that all about?   Also, can we schedule the interview now because he is scheduled to pick up his PCC on the 24th of Feb and his medical is on the 1st of March? I am really hesitant to do this, but does anyone have any experience with this. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Question. Please help calirfy	Follow this link:   http://www.visajourn...content/k3guide   You are basically sending in another packet just like you did with the I-130 but there isn't any charge to send in the I-129F.  A passport photo is needed for both you and your wife. From what I have seen on the site the two petitions just marry up and continue the journey together. I got my NOA1 a few days after.  I was wondering if all I need to complete a K3 application is just to complete the I-129 F form?  Do I need new passport photos for that too? Please help! US Citizenship General Discussion	Marriage based citizenship (3-5 years)	Hi, I got married in 2008 and received my GC in August 2009. I filed with the help of a lawyer here in Chicago (much to the annoyance of my husband ..he didn't want to spend 1000+ dollars on lawyer fees). My dad insisted that I file with the help of a lawyer ..there were a lot of unpleasant arguments that occurred between us and fast forward to now, my husband really hates to talk about anything having to do with my immigration (or citizenship) So I need help bc I'm on my own and I want to file for citizenship this week. I became eligible in August 2012 (3 yrs) and since then I have had my forms ready, but never mailed them out because I don't have our tax papers and I didn't want to ask him for them. I am a stay at home mom and I do know that he files them jointly. So here are my questions: 1. Is there anyway I can obtain our tax records online 2. I live in Chicago, so what address should I mail my n-400 form to for the quickest response 3. I didn't know I could have applied for my parents' GC when I applied to remove conditions from my own GC..so missed that opportunity. My family arrived in 1999 with us on my dad's H1 and overstayed. I really want to apply for my parents ASAP. Is there any form I could send for them along with my n-400 which would start their GC process? Yes, I know you believe he will react negatively if you tell him because of the money spent on lawyers fees. But does that make it right to do things like this without him being aware? National Visa Center (Dept of State)	When is the good time to NVC?	Girl from Celebes, How long do you think we should wait before we call DoS/NVC to request our case number? Status update on USCIS is still on "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)", hence I imagine it hasn't shipped to NVC yet (I think I'll get the "we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing"). Am I correct? National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Waiting time for the NVC case number	I see that your notice date is Oct. 24 and from TSC .  Ours is Oct. 23.  I just got an update from USCIS last night that they sent our approve case to DOS on Nov. 8 2013.  Did you receive a notification from USCIS yet of the update? Nope i just checked now and it is still the same message. There's one i know and approved on oct25 from tsc and got an update from uscis.. hoping to get updated next week.. We are CSC filers, I'm sure you are going to get your case number soon too. Good luck to you! Glad to hear that it's now "next week" not "8 weeks".. hehe.. How did you know they received yours? Through email/mail or you phoned them?   Thanks. I would call everyday and my reciept number did not appear in the computer untill yesterday. The girl said it had just come in. I asked her if my number had been assigned and she said yes. The average for TSC that i have followed on here is about a week. You should be getting yours soon. It really was 3 weeks from NOA 2 and 1 week from the day it got shipped out of TSC     Guess i have to wait few more weeks       What number did you call? National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Waiting time for the NVC case number	We got our NOA 2 on October 2nd, but hadn't heard anything more. I keep calling both the CSC and NVC, and no one knows where it is, but apparently this is very common. Luckily, I have our congressman's office involved, and they were able to talk to someone at the CSC who said they mailed our approval on Oct. 25th to the NVC, and they will follow up this Friday (2 weeks after the 25th). It is so crazy that it takes so long to send a piece of mail. We are now 8 months out in this entire process, and beyond frustrated. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Administrative processing, kept passport	It varies from case to case. AP doesnt have any time limit. Based on my experience (2 time AP), i will say 4 to 6 weeks. Just call them once in a week or 15 days to check the status. Since they have kept the passport, it looks it wont be long wait. Asia: South	What to do with the X-Ray	Hi, What to do with the X-Ray they give along with the Vaccination records at your medical exam. It wasnt asked at the consulate at the interview. Will it be required to be carried along with me while i go to US? Will it be asked at POE? My POE will be Dulles. Please share your experience if you have gone thru the process. Thanks.
