IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	got a call from US consulate chennai about AP	but y is this happening????? i got back from chennai. they told me on my face i got it but y call me now and say this??? n he said 2 to 3 weeks.. y is it taking 6 weeks???? im on spouse immigration... so its not JUST 6 weeks for me... its huge thing for me. It may not take 6 weeks but i said 6 weeks based on my experience with Chennai consulate. Nobody can predict the time it will take to clear AP. You can try sending them an email explaining your situation but it may not make any effect on them as they will do what they have to do. AP is nothing but a deep name check and if you have common name or you are Muslim (as me) then lot of chances to go in AP. Chennai consulate is better then the other consulates in India so i dont think it may take long time. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2013 Filers	I got a RFE at 7:45 am! I am so happy because this means I won't be waiting for months and months and months! I'll mail off whatever they need ASAP and then on to the slow process with NVC. 23 days from NOA1... amazing!     Hi LizzieBee,    You are so positive and that's so awesome! Please tell me how you were informed of the RFE at 7:45 am. I want to assume text or email because of the specific time you mentioned. The reason I ask is because I never got a text or an email or even a case update to RFE status on the USCIS website, but today (11/22/13) I came home form work and I checked the mail and I got a RFE in the mail. The RFE is dated November 16th. I'm actually rather confused by it because we sent in what they are requesting and we are working with an immigration attorney. By no means do I mean that my lawyer is infallible...in fact right now I feel like I should have done this myself. Anyways, please let me know. Thanks. Philippines	October 2013 NOA2's --> NVC received dates	Can people that received their NOA2's in October/November 2013 list their NOA2 date here and if they had their files received by the NVC yet. Please include which USCIS center processed you.    This is just so us Oct/Nov people can get a basic idea if the holiday season is making the processing a little faster or slower. I'm sure I would get a bit more excited after seeing a few October petitioners start listing that the NVC received their files.   ---   My NOA2 is Oct 25. from California Service Center. To date, NVC has not received my files yet. Looks like we almost have the same timeline.. noa2 october 24 from tsc. Philippines	Had my K1 interview but CEAC status is still "READY" for interview	I had my interview last Thursday, November 21, 2013 and I was approved. My interview went smoothly but until now my status on ceac website didn't change. It is still READY (for interview) and not READY (case is open). It's been 6 days since I had my was approved. I called the US embassy to check my visa status but they said that my papers are still on process and I asked if I was under administrative processing and they said no and that I should give them until next week. I was just wondering and worried because my friend had her interview on a later date and her ceac status changed to ready (case is open) the following day. I don't know what to do. My documents were complete and me and my fiance never been married before. Please help me.  Were you able to get your visa on time? And now in u.s. just wondering what happened after all the waiting of just being "ready" for interview.. im having the same scenario right now. My interview went smoothly with the Filipino consul and American consul but until now my status on ceac website didn't change. It is still READY (for interview) and not READY (case is open). It's been 7 days since I had my interview.I was just wondering and a bit worried because my friend had her interview on a later date and her ceac status changed to ready (case is open) the following day, i know its a case to case basis.
