Our CEAC status was last updated on January 15, 2014 to " READY" case open  and it says check after 2 business days, its been 4 working days already and there's no update, ive been emailing the US embassy but i get the same answer every now and then " your passport is still with the embassy" please check at a later date.   Anyone who experienced the same? We have our interview date on Feb. 18th as we had to push it back a couple weeks as we need time to plan for the interview(paperwork and all). Our case left the NVC on Dec 6th and has been "In Transit" ever since then according to CEAC. Nothing for us to do but sit around and wait, which is frustrating but not at all surprising at this point...anyway, best of luck to everybody with interviews that are sure to be coming up soon! Do you have your MNL number? I don't remember reading people doing this for the US Consulate in Brazil. So NVC sent out your packet the next day? Where did you find that out? Here in PI once you got your case number from nvc you can schedule your own interview date by just paying the interview fee..and we can download the packet from the us embassy manila site.. those are just instructions of what to bring and what to do next.. so i paid already my interview fee and got my schedule how about yours?	icedblu15	Not Telling	Philippines	2013-12-07 01:59:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Thanks! Every time I ask them they just tell me they don't have that information. All I know is it arrived on the 4th. So as I am moving forward it seems like what people are saying to do next is the DS-160, pay the visa fee, and schedule her medical exam right? I'm a little confused because the NVC agent I talked to today said to not do anything until the packet has arrived in manila. Is there a problem if she starts getting these things done right now?   pay the visa interview fee of  $240, wait for the embassy to receive the payment and schedule the interview online, you have to do it fast, as of 8:05 am Manila 12/6/2013 the earliest available date slot is on March 24, 2014. Funny, the lady we talked to yesterday was an a-hole and told us it would be 8 more weeks after they sent the package we would recieve our case number as they seemed to be delayed with an uptake of applications. Talk about misinformation. Happy Thanksgiving to us!   My I-129f was approved in 63 days from my NOA1 date. Congratulations! November 25th sent after October 24th approval. #######! I hope they send yours out soon also. We were approved on October 24th and still hasn't been received or shipped to NVC yet. I will call USCIS on Monday to find out what us happening. It is frustrating though we are still doing good for time I guess to normal standards. I see some of your posts when browsing topics and I always check your signature because I'm anxious for you to get your case number or at least hear is someone has shipped it yet. Have you spoken to anyone at USCIS yet?     I really hope you get your case number soon, its unfair to keep you waiting. Please post a big topic when you get your number because I'm sure there are many people who are anxious for you too. Good luck yeah sad to say we havent received any update regarding nvc receiving it or shipping it for that matter.. i am getting so anxious too knowing the available slots for December and Jan. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 Filers	Thanks for the info.  She has been able to travel here because she already has a 10 year multiple entry tourist visa.  So she's been able to come and spend time with me as our relationship has grown, which has been great.  When she came this summer to visit for a month, she did get extra questions at the border and immigration also called me to corroborate.  They wanted to know why we weren't just getting married and doing an AOS and we told them that we were trying to do every thing right.  For her to enter on a tourist visa for the purpose of getting married would violate the tourist visa requirements and we told them that we were in the process of applying for a fiancee visa and wouldn't be getting married until that was approved.  The immigration offical seemed very pleased that we understood the rules and policies and were following them to the letter.  With that, they let her enter with her daughter and we had a great month together during the summer.  When she comes in December, she'll have all of the paperwork with her to provide the backup that we're following the proper process and I don't expect that they'll give her any trouble.  It helps that she has businesses in the Philippines as well as other committments that help prove that she plans on returning.  So we've continued to believe that if we do everything on the up and up and follow the process and rules that we won't have any issues, which so far has proven true. Just like me and my fiance here. Just visiting him in U.S. and we want to do it the right way good luck to our journey Hello! So after 5 weeks of FrozenGlitter calling the NVC for our case number, finally last night, success! So on we go; medical appointment to be arranged this week!!   It's all moving so quick. Set our wedding date now too, so all being well, we'll be over the K-1 hurdle in April! Wow... congratulations.. Hi TrixieStep, I called the NVC and they told me to wait for 8 weeks.
