hi guys! just wanna ask some questions about the attachments for the affidavit of support forms:

1. the worst time that i will interviewed will be 1st quarter next year. and fiance is thinking to move to another company or change his job in the next few months. and we will be submitting his 2006 tax forms. the question is: does he still need to get a statement from his employer where he is working at this time (before he moves to another job) on which it is the employer stated on his 2006 tax forms?

2. In case he moves to another job, do we still need to get the statement docs from the employer that he will working in the future?

3. Do we need to notarize these statements from his employer/s?

4. Does being a temporary employee matter? or is it a negative impression to the consular officer?

5. Is there a minimum amount that should be deposited in his bank account?

6. He is currently studying at the moment. Do we still need a statement from his school that he is currently enrolled?

Hope to get response from you guys in time for our preparation for our docs on my interview for the next few months.

Just a question, during the interview with the consular officer, are you going to give all your folders? or did the pre-interviewer forwarded to the CO the documents he/she from you at that first interview?

If they ask you when was the last your fiance visited you, do you need to show him your meeting evidences?

hello everyone!

1. just wanna ask if my fiance - the petitioner is a temporary worker in his job, will that be a problem to prove his income?although, he passes the poverty guideline for the two of us.

2. he is living with his mom in her aunt's house and he still pays a rental fee but her mom is not a dependent his tax forms. is her mom included in the number of household members or not?

hoping for your replies soon coz we are preparing everything so that there wont be a problem in the consulate.

hello guys. is having a thyroid will result to a failing medical exam for k1?

i saw from the medical form being filled upped by the medical officers prior to k1 visa interview that there's a question there that if the application has a history on thyroid problem.

will this cause a negative result of your medical exam?

Current income is more important than past income. He will need to meet the guidelines with his current income. Manila seldom allows a cosponsor for a K-1.



how did you know that they don't accept co-sponsor for K-1?

hello my vj family. we printed our form i-134 or the affidavit of support form in an A4 size paper which is a little bigger than the normal letter sized (8 1/2" x 11")/short bond paper. will this be ok? i hope this won't cause a problem coz there is NO printed document even in the packet 4 and the us embassy website on what size of paper should we use for this document. any comments pls?

also, one more thing that really bothers me. i've read somewhere that the affidavit of support doc should be printed back to back. how true is this? coz we printed ours in 2 sheets that is why we are so worried this time. my fiance spent a lot for this form. wwhhheeeewww...

Alright, we printed our Affidavit of Support Document into two sheets and in A4 size paper. And that is fine for us now. Thanks my Vj family for the reply.

Now, my question is, should my fiance, the petitioner, sign/put his signature at the side of the First Page/Sheet of the document? He only signed at the signature area at the 2nd Page/Sheet.

well, we have the same date of sending our i-751 packet. my noa1 was the next day, sept 14 since i live here in southern cali and the csc office is just here in orange county.

by the way, did you use any tracking method to track your packet sent to them? if you did, you should know the date they received it and the noa1 should be around that date.

hello everyone!

just wanna ask if anybody heard a case that was hard to be approved at the uscis level when the petitioner is a naturalized US citizen? even if they submitted a complete set of evidences of citizenship such as photocopy of all pages of passport and photocopy of certificate of citizenship or naturalization.

any answer on this?

coz my fiance is a naturalized citizen. he was born in the philippines, petitioned by her parents and moved there in the US when he was one year old. and we submitted a complete set of evidence of his citizenship.

just wondering if these uscis officers are putting special attention to non-US-borned-US Citizens petitioners and then asking RFE to prove their citizenship..

well, $700 is a lot!!! it's not reasonable to send that much to a fiance/e every month. my thoughts to you is that you ask her why she asks that much from you. and i truly believe that she should work hard and earn money to support herself and/or family and dont take advantage from the kindness of others.

you know, there are a lot of jobs available in the market. where on earth is she located? she can apply in a call center or even a saleslady in a mall. she can even start a small business with the money you're sending to her.

for me, i never asked any amount of money from my fiance to support myself since i can support myself and lifestyle coz i know, you guys there in the US are also working hard to earn those dollars.

you better talk to your fiancee before you process your docs and ending up in tears and regrets..

i am also a filipina but i cannot tolerate that kind of attitude. being dependent to somebody for you to live is such a bad attitude!

hi! first, congrats on your visa approval!

well, i have some taiwanese friends living in taipei and last july, i planned to visit them. but then, i found it difficult to visit them since Taiwan requires a visa for Filipinos living there. so, i thought on postponing my visit there since I still need to do some paperworks to get a visa to enter taiwan. the visa costs around P2000.

so, if you plan to go out in the airport, you will be needing a visa for that.

congrats on your journey. you can check eva air if they have cheaper rates if you can still cancel your flight with united airlines.

hi guys!

i'm a skype user and i use it to call my fiance in the US. i want to print all the call logs in my skype account.

i found two ways: 1. exporting the file to excel file. 2. print screen every page of the call logs account.

in exporting the file to excel file, i'm not sure if this a good proof that we are talking to each other since this is just an excel file and can easily be done by anybody. i mean, the consuls might suspect this as a fake proof or material.

and using print screen method is really tiring.

any other suggestions?

Hi Michelle! I terribly miss my fiance, too. huhuhu... sad.gif

Well, our petition was just approved last week and it's still in CSC. We called NVC yesterday and they said that they haven't received our petition yet. Hopefully, they will receive it this week.

I'm thinking positively and realistically speaking, i'm hoping that my interview will be between january and february and my target to be in the US will be on March.

In God's blessings, I hope our wedding will be on April 3. That's our engagement day.

Don't worry, just hang on and have lots of patience. Time is so fast. You will be receiving your NOA2 soon - in your most unexpected day. And you know, it's Christmas season already.. so everything is so fast now.

hello guys!

i was reading a thread on wrong spelling of the name in the BC, when vsmtghdy replied that being if you were on a late registration, you will be put into AR.

quoting his reply:
"There are applicants who were placed on AR for weeks due to problems with BC (late registration, disrepancy with names, etc..)."

IS THIS TRUE??? any experience of being interviewed with a late registration BC and were put into AR?
