QUOTE (ChuckandRhean @ Sep 14 2009, 03:37 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
We are now just waiting for the Embassy email notification letter . Almost all documents and papers are done except medical . Weve done so much researching and verifying documents needed .A part of my list is based from other VJ filers coming from embassy other than Manila, since theyve posted the actual content of Packet 3 and 4). I havent seen any VJ filer scanned and posted actual content of Packet 3 coming from Manila US Embassy, nor says from any link which directly states these so and so are what contains Packet 3 (manila).
Ooooh my ,please do understand. Waiting seems like for ages. Patience is my virtue tho good.gif . I wanna make sure I exhaust all my resources and utilize best possible options I have to gather ALL " they" need beforehand. My honey has done his part from USCIS till Embassy, and its a job very well done,NO RFE,NOR AP. good.gif Im challenged. Now its my turn. star_smile.gif

I joined VisaJourney about a year ago and I am very thankful to VJ because it helped us very much with my visa journey.

The reason I am posting this, it is because I just want to express how I feel about those VJers that all they’ve been doing are making fun, posting replies that irrelevant to the original posts, or giving insensitive comments to the OP or those who replied. I can say that Philippine forum in particular is not as good as before. I am very disappointed because it has been going on like this almost everyday already. I myself, is very discouraged to posts my queries anymore because I know someone will make fun out of it too regardless of the topic. I just wish that this will be stopped. I wish that if someone posts something that will be useful to those who are new in this journey , no one will ruin the discussion.

To those who understand me, thank you but to those who will not agree…well, good luck and God bless. Peace again.

just dont vent coz you cant really pleased everybody...theres always people who will ruin some post and theres nothing you can do to stop it. just dont take things seriously coz this is just a forum though it is helpful but why waste time of getting disappointed to people that you dont know.

good.gif whistling.gif yeah correct too....

I agree. Anyone could readily distinguish a comment meant to be an aid, brings the OP's situation to a calming relaxed state or just to bully others. There are potential trolls lurking around and just cant resist but to ruin the helping purpose of each forum. If such comment from a VJer is perceive to be mean ,has gone beyond personal boundaries, and persistent; then you stand tall, and speak up. Let them know that it isnt doing any good nor contributing. That you need pieces of good advice and not mainly to be criticized.

Its good to kid around. It makes the discussion light and soothing.Yet ,it takes proper timing, kind words and gentle heart to throw a jest in good faith. Go go go NutCrackers! jest.gif tongue.gif

Updating list to congratulate Brian-Charisma and Filiricans. Bon voyage to Janess (OrlandoRenaldo) on the 26th.

It is also that time of the month when we start cleaning the list (to make it more manageable) by removing the names of August interviewees who have been approved and received their visas already.

Good luck to tzeksman and RickiandEva on the 17th and bevs&alex on the 18th.

Hi Filiricans! My family and I are well and thank you for asking. That's so kind of you.

PhilippinesFilipino foods that my Kano fiance doesnt like

Greetings fellah sweet Filipina Lovers!

I know theres no way my hubby could taste Filipino exotic food like Balut, ever! even if i dare him. content.gif Oh my , He LoOoves lumpiang shanghai and chopseuy ! I wanna know from foreign Fiances',hubby out there, on what could be other filipino dishes and exotic food you'd love and like, and that I could cook and serve as a surprise to my hubby idea9dv.gif happy.gif

QUOTE (Matt & Jovy @ Jun 14 2009, 01:57 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I want to list here the food that I like but he doesnt want to taste (or taste ever again)...
1. Isaw (chicken intestine ...one street of the popular street food here in the PI)...he tried kikiam and fishball though
2. Dinuguan (or what he called chocolate meat) he tried one sip but he said it tasted like iron
3. Fish belly (the best part of fish...especially for bangus (milkfish))... he just didnt like the soft texture and the black color of it
4. Tuwalya (ox tripe)...in kare-kare he just puked when he tried one bite...didnt the chewy texture
5. Balot...(a fertilized duck egg with a nearly-developed embryo inside that is boiled and eaten in the shell-from wikipedia) ...he tried it the second night he was here...oh and I saw him all green and he was about to puke...

How about your fiance/fiancee?

Other things I noticed... they don`t eat full meals for lunch...and no (heavy) snacks (e.g. spaghetti, pancit, burger, etc) between meals. Hotdog is not a breakfast. No hotdog on spaghetti (but he likes sweet spaghetti, he even tried Jollibee spaghetti). They don`t use spoon to eat rice but they use fork instead.

Wow,

This thread has been a learning experience for me...

So much for the idea of Sexually Repressed Filipinas! All this time I was thinking that my Anna was overcoming that quite well and now I see that it's just a myth even though many filipinas seem more than happy to help spread that myth wink.gif

The real shocker though is the use of LBFM, I would have though that would be offensive. When I first encountered that phrase I googled it and found a website by the same name. All I can say was it wasn't very flattering to our Beautiful Filipina Sisters mad.gif

Of course Anna and I tease each other in ways that others would never understand but I could never apply that LBFM label to her after seeing the website. I will however joke with her about her favorite activity, HP {Hard Pounding} as we've come to call it devil.gif

hahahaha yea, LBFM is offensive taken in its context. He explained it to me before when i first heard it. And my honey might spank me if he happens to read this. oops8rh.gif blush.gif haha We(my honey and I) were teasing then after we ... whistling.gif ,ya know,so theres nothing to worry. I just shared it with fellah sisters so theyll be aware of that phrase, anyhow. And ,honestly, Im surprised some of them knew it . We have our own lingo of understanding ,too. And he shares me how to say it nicely(whenever in public) ,like doing horizontal bob.

Yesterday, a friend of Bill came calling because he wanted to check his email in our computer. I was at the door when he arrived and he said, "Hi kiddo!" Since it was almost dinner time, we had pizza for dinner. Bill and Joe chatted for a while and when it was time for him to leave, he looked at me and said, "Bye Kiddo!" I told him, "OH no! Don't call me kiddo please!" He said, you're a kiddo. You have that child smile in your face. You're not a midget, are you?"

My question is, for short ladies like me, how short is short? I am 4 ft, 11 in tall. I know I am short. But we're not midgets, right?

hahahaha..im so entertained reading all the posts on this topic tongue.gif I have few personal foreign guy friends as well as friends of my cousins abroad who are attracted to filipino women. my fiance calls me caramel lol.. and yes, it does seems appealing to them how we are built..cute, petite, light, the possiblities, (or should i say positions) are endless! lol

hehehehe...im sure we have no ...err .. less inhibitions now since its a prehistoric fact idea9dv.gif how our respective fiances are pretty much elaborative and expressive of (L)making and having S*X wink.gif . I wont forget the moment when finally the news of my engagement to him and his visit in Phil. came out and gradually spread allover my workplace . Ok I dont know how to start... coz I dont know where to start lol. But anyway, tag-lish ko na lng mga sis kasi minsan nag oonline din dito asawa ko baka mabasa pa nya to dead.gif . First I'm going to ask if there is any of you here experienced at the present of your marriage with your husband na magtago ng sekreto for the first time with him for his own good...... and for your peace of mind ? I mean anything... tulad ba ng sulat na hindi mo pinakita sa kanya which is you decided na mas mabuti ng hindi nya na mabasa kasi baka mas lumaki pa yung problema ? I know na mali yung gagawin mo na ikaw yung mag de-decide if what is good or wrong for him pero what if kung ikaw mismo nakikita na yung asawa mo eh blinded with the situation that he into right now..... Na sa umpisa pa lang against ka na, pero syempre dahil mahal mo xa and his your husband you tried to understand him (specially there is nothing really wrong of what his doing naman) and be a little bit more open-minded about it before.

I really felt guilt sa ginawa ko... pero I think atleast god knows why I did it. This for his own health, marriage and our LIFE !

So the quistion still the same lol. Atleast na experience nyo na ba kahit paano na may itinago sa asawa nyo for a good reason or kung baga sabi nga nila "White Lies "? Walang plastikan ha.... Hindi pa naman ako perfect wife rofl.gif .

In time,Malalaman din nya nagawa mo. Its better that u have to tell him now. Baka pagmulan pa yan ng away nyo. For sure may malalim syang dahilan ,alamin mo.Imberstigador...kumbaga yes.gif

Not sure what LWSM means but I hope you're not cutting me down hahaha.

On another note, I don't think that all men have more to loose by getting married than women do. I mean, I could be a rich doctor that drives a mercedes and he could be a worthless bum that never worked and I was his mommy for 5 years taking care of his lame @#% because working apparently wasn't his "style".

Then when we got divorced he got half of everything I owned and left me with his debt which was so sweet of him.... oh wait........ this is not a scenario this really happened....

So yeah.... women have just as much to loose as men.

naaaah tongue.gif You dont have to worry bout it. itzallgood's joke is done in good faith and intends to inject plain humor. Never did the joke itself malign the perception of filipinas as "Little Brown Sex Machine" ,which is lovingly use as term of endearment of their partner (done sparingly). Count me in. happy.gif My honey told me that once and its "music in heaven" to my ears.Really!

Id say LBSM is situational in nature, anyone may regard it as taken desirably or otherwise.

He is my Australian sex god and I worship the ground he walks on. I don't believe marriage is anything but spending your life with someone you are madly in love with. It's about waking up next to that person and making him late for work by overloading him with extra kisses. It's about growing old together and loving each other for their human. Humans are flawed. It's about lovinig the flaws that come with his human because they are apart of him or her.

It's not binding, it's not contractual, it's not forced, it's a choice from the heart and sometimes love makes that choice for us.

It's about knowing that when you are old and your teeth are falling out, your love is going to be there to put them back in for you.

It's about having passion for someone.. passion unmistakable... passion the world can see... love that some people may never find. And it's about being thankful that you are lucky enough to have it.

It is starting to really hurt our relationship at this point because within 15 days she has gone through the 300 this month, and asking for more even though have asked her to budget money since I am sadly not a rich man. LOL you sounding like him >>>> devil.gif .

When I was still in PI my husband ( then Fiance ) 500$ a month to covered up all my bills.. Since he asked me to moved in a different appartment coz he was concerned of my safety in my old appartment on that time. But before he decided to make my 500$ a month allowanced we breakdown how much my expensed from monthly rental, water, electric and cable bills, including my every other weeks groceries lol. All in all as I remember.... Those all costs 300$. But he gave me more extra 200$ allowanced for phonecards and for the internet for our daily communication. Sometimes I over exceed of my only 1 month allowanced coz I was also in school on that time. Enough or not enough I have to budget all my expensed to fit on my budget. And if im out of money before 1 month.... It was my problem anymore. Never asked for more.

Try to ask her if what her actual expense.... Helping our parents is already part of our culture... as long you know his not supporting the whole clan. But I think that is too much of accusation if you dont have a proof. If her budget is 300$ a month then she need to budget it... helping or without helping her family with that money she need to mannage that money.

Confront her and see what she gonna say... and explain to her what you thought about it. Maybe she will upset a little coz maybe she'll get imbarass but you will find out if atleast she really care about you..... or just really care about the money.

Filipino women are recognized to have very unique qualities appealing to foreign men. Ask ur husband Ms. Juvy ,then after ul agree with me. Im proud to be a filipina . My fiance (USC)and i profess that were so blessed.Armed with my own blissful relationship with my honey, I infect others.yes.gif

Confusedone and her fiancee are in the process of getting to know each other in a deeper level. Were here to give him options, present other case scenarios- be it our own experience or seen from others' .We magnify, illumminate (as he requested) the situation he is into leading to something desirable and worthy Or to a nightmare( which I hope not) . We ignite critical thinking as well as plausible emotion. We are encouraging him to probe their relationship ,to figure out where they fall short and make up.Likewise, we are enabling him to discern ways of how they could both work things out concerning money.

Having read all the posts, somehow,Confusedone has multiple options applicable to his case . Be careful to what u wish for. wink.gif wink.gif Bless you innocent.gif

Lol I dont know what is the unique qualities of filipina that you are talking about. I believe every different people have a different attitude and have some different point of view in life, you cant really measure it by the same of Race. Well atleast for me. But if you meant by the is those some filipina scammer in our country... It's atleast imbarassing to us but I wont deny that specially I have couple of a friend like them.

But in the situation of the OP.... You are right again, we are posting our opinion here but the opinion the you were giving was a straight forward juding his fiancee by your first post without thinking that you dont really know the whole story of their situation aside of the OP's story if how his fiancee sucked fast those money that he sent. Which is he can confront her and give his fiancee an idea how is his or thier money situation is. I am not quistioning what your first post I was just being an honest if how it sounds like lol.

Good Luck also both you and your fiance.. May you truely meant to be and last forever. And just take it easy Ms Rhean eb0dfafc.gif .

Greetings!!

Humbly speaking, Ive stressed my point on the grounds of my profession in practice and personal views. Totoo! Reality bites. It hurts u to hear words from strangers( it maynot be intended for u but its) bcoz u feel for that person. You sympathize with her.Its good. But come to think of it.Its Subjective, sweetie.

Filipino women are known for their independence, simplicity, loyalty, adoring, but not needy---simply ,a wife material. Pero sa nangyayari ngayon, may mga kababaihang Pinay ay sukat manloko ng tao ,paasahing tunay na umiibig ,pagkakitaan ,at paglaon mawawalang parang bula. This brought doubts and fears to some men getting along with prospective Filipino women. And Pity to those who were victimized. I would say that we,Ms. Juvy, Filipina Vjers and I are so blessed amidst the hasty generalization, the love we have for our partner prevails. we never gave up. star_smile.gif star_smile.gif star_smile.gif

So whats the real score? Discourage the wrongdoing. Stop rationalizing what others had done. Take note of the factual events.emphatize.

Ms. Juvy ,If my words are accusing, then let it be. Yet the girl has to prove it wrong to Confusedone.

Im cool, girl. happy.gif Im straightforward at certain ocassions when i should be. Bless you! yes.gif

While I was having my morning walk in the neighborhood, I noticed that some people are making "sampay" their clothes over the fence and on the TV Antennae. Somehow, I wasn't surprised with the clothes on the fence, but the ones that were hanging on the Antennae reminds me of Pinas. And then I remember since all television connections have changed to Digital TV, they probably don't have use of the antennae anymore. That is why they made it into a "sampayan". laughing.gif

On my way going back to the house, the garbage truck passed by me and I noticed the driver stopped for a while and waved at me. But I noticed that the other guy on the passenger seat was ogling at me and was giving me the mirada despectiva (dirty looks). I gave him the stern face look and he was still rubbernecking when the truck passed by. Hmm, reminds me of the "tambays" in the Philippines again. What else did you notice guys?

and a copy of your I-129F NOA2??

> The NOA2 is the letter that your USC fiance receives from USCIS. It looks just like the NOA1, except the NOA2 is the approval notice. The NOA1 is a receipt notice.

> The US Embassy's letter (which they will courier to you) has the American Eagle logo and the name of the US Embassy on the upper right.

> The NVC Letter is sent to your USC fiance (usually mailed to him 1 week after he receives the hardcopy of the NOA2 through the mail), and has your name, your USCIS Receipt Number, and your NVC Case Number with a bar code. It's printed on a plain sheet of paper, the envelope has the name of the US Department of State National Visa Center on the upper left.

Is this the letter sent to my fiance confirming that our I-129F NOA2 is approved ( printed on an american eagle logo)?

PhilippinesMedical Examination Passed
QUOTE (marriedtomrg @ Sep 26 2009, 12:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
You can go have your medical exam anytime, as long as you have your:

- 2x2 pictures (4 pieces with white background)
- your passport
- your US Embassy appointment letter (which was e-mailed to you, the beneficiary)
- the letter from the US Embasy that was couriered to you informing you that you are eligible to set an appointment for your interview (SLMEC will rubber stamp it and write your Patient Data Sheet, or PDS, Number on it)
- your NVC Case Number
- and a copy of your I-129F NOA2

Monday and Tuesday are the busiest days of the week to have it done. Luvtechwifey went Wednesday afternoon. I went Wednesday morning, so did SomedaySomehow.

Hope this helps.

All the Glory and Praise for Him!

I'm very happy to share my medical experience with everyone. My first day was very smooth. I arrived at St. Lukes at around 11:40ish AM and I was out of St. Lukes at around 3:11 PM. yay! good 3 hours. I was asked to go back the next day (today) for my vaccinations.

TIPS
.
? I would suggest to those who will have their medical soon to go at St Lukes after lunch since people aren't much crowded. Though the guard will give you the flowchart of the medical exam, it was not followed in my case since St. Lukes people reshuffles the patients to go to a different department to lessen the waiting time.

?Never wear earrings on your 2x2 pics they will ask you to submit a picture with no earrings at the releasing counter on your 2nd day. ( I think I missed this info so I was wearing earrings. wacko.gif )

?avoid the fixers outside St. Lukes.

And on my 2nd day, I arrived at like 12:45 PM. The guard typed my PDS (patient data sheet) number at the computer to check if I am indeed for immunization and he stamped my receipt "for immunization" 2nd floor.

There, I gave my receipt of the medical fee at the immunization counter. I waited for like 2.5 hours just be called and have the vaccines. Namely, MMR, Tdap, and Anti-Cervical Cancer.
Be very attentive, because you will be called via intercom speaker not the one who is calling names on the counter.
After I got my vaccines, Hey it was 3 shots! ( I was really teary when I went out of immunization room because I'm seriously afraid of needles.. laughing.gif ) I was instructed to go at the ground floor and wait for my name to be called again.. After 30 minutes, I was called and proceeded to counter A, I signed some medical papers. Then I went back to my seat and I again waited for my name to be called for releasing. At the releasing, they gave me the Xray CD. The lady told me that they will just forward my medical results to the USEM.

I walked home around 4:30ish PM with a big smile in my heart. Thank you Lord! I passed the tedious medical.

TIPS
?Take breakfast or lunch before you proceed on your immunization since you will really wait for a long time before you get called.

?Bring jacket. It became so cold just seating for a couple of hours.

?Be attentive esp when you are at the releasing section . The mic was very muffled I hardly understand my name, and if your name got called and you missed it, they will put your papers aside and you have to follow it up dreadfully. One of my seatmates who were way ahead of my timetable missed the call and she was waiting and waiting for her name to be called and yet, I finished first before her.

So yeah, these are the info I can share to you. My arms are still painful from the 3 shots I received. crying.gif

Never stop praying!

-Luvtechwifey

Her US embassy Interview today failed, I do not know all the details yet......

I just want to thank you all for the support and kind words given to us along the way.

I know this sound kind of harsh, but this journey has been too long from me. It has been 3 years in the making, it been affecting my health in major ways and sometime the "ONE UP there" is trying to send me many signals which I may have failed to understand them.

So once I will know little more details, I will probably make a very tough decision....

Once again, I want to thank you all again for the friendship, the support, the fun at times making this journey a little easier...

God Bless and Best Wishes to you all....in journey and relationship.

Truly,

Eros and Sally

In ur situation, let ur fiancee submit the CORRECTED ONE and bring with her the wrong one for clarification to the embassy. So things will be cleared up to them...I hope u keep us updated with hows gonna be with ur case.

Smile happy.gif ,things gonna be better,my friend.

Thanks ChuckandRhean

I hate to air my dirty laundry....but

But I really think we (me and Sally) have serious language problems.....that really becomes more and more apparent when things go wrong....and they have been quite a few things go wrong...many up and down..

I really not blaming her...myself... or the US embassy for that matter,
as I said before this is (or was, not sure at moment) a relationship 3+ years now...

But I will be waiting for days now trying to figure it out...

if she got a WHITE slip or not?...what does that say on the white slip?....

If you understand my meaning...

there is a limit on everything....i will be seriously thinking about this relationship in next few days....

Best wishes....

smile.gif I know what u mean,Eros. And I can strongly sense yes.gif an " earnest soul-searching" right there in u,correct me if my instinct could be taken as mere overreaction blush.gif oops8rh.gif .In three years of ur relationship Id say uve known each other quite enough.Well, if couples could put up with their certain "could-be-deal-breakers" in the long-run. Whatever decision ul make later on , Im sure ul be happy uve done it yes.gif

Well.... here is what I was able to get out of an hysterical fiance....

it all goes back to a GOOD CONDUCT certificate of Bahrain..... the one we spend 5 months try to correct.

THE CERTIFICATE from HELL..... i call it....and rightly so...

They send it with the WRONG birth date on it the first time....so we requested again...some IDIOT there screw it up.

They finally send us the corrected one.....

Now there is so much i can do....but there is no medication for ...."lack of use of brain and common sense"...

I explained over and over, make sure you take with you the CORRECTED ONE with you...so will not get confused...maybe just destroy the WRONG one....

So which one you all think she took with her.....take a wild guess !!!!!!!

So the words...she hear...
who is this person with the wrong birth date on this certificate for Bahrain?....

she explain to them that they send the wrong certificate and later they send one that is correct...

But Guess what....she cant find it in her all documentation she took with her.....she must left it at home....

the final words from embassy was.... INTERVIEW FAILED...YOU CAN GO HOME NOW....

Now I really do not know what do next....what the next steps should be...

I am really not sure how to deal with this anymore.....
just too tired and sick about it...along other health problems i have already to deal with...

"Greetings!!!!

It has been said and done....let the hurt passed by. Theres no one of you to be blamed . And Im sure there are couples here who have experienced same situation, yet were able to reunite after sometime, and fellah VJers who happen to know one are very willing to help u out , get up and try to keep things on track the second time.
