It so very exciting to see that things are moving along for people smile.gif

I'm sending out good thoughts for all of us here, asking for things to go nice and smoothly and quickly, no lost papers, no rfe's, nothing just smooth sailing the whole way biggrin.gif

wow cdneh you are close smile.gif

and i'm sorry guys i have some more questions

on the I-129F for the usc on question 10, rob was born in the us, do i need to put in his cert number, date and place it was issued?

and i've managed to print rob's G-325A but i've had to write out mine, can i just fill out the first page and photocopy it 3 times, i know i have to sign the four pages seperately, but i'm so nervous i keep making mistakes writing it out so i'm really hoping the photocopies will be ok

Ok i know this is a really dumb question but going over my forms again i'm worried that i can't fit everything into the little boxes, addresses for one. I've tried looking for some sort of preference that says to wrap the text in the box, like in excel but i can't find anything. Any ideas?

Welcome Amaciar and Lux

I know how relieved I was to find this site, it's such a daunting prospect and even with all the practical and emotional support I'm still finding it a very stressful process, I'd hate to think how I'd have managed if we had to do it alone.

Anyways...now that my divorce is final I've thought of something else to worry about.

Rob needs a lung transplant and is on disability, we do have a financial sponsor but I'm worried they'll deny our petition because Rob is so sick and probably won't be working for some time to come. I do intend to work as soon as I'm allowed but I'm still worried.

Does anyone have any ideas? or opinions?

Hey Guys and Gals

Just an update, we're waiting on my divorce papers, which will be final 14 July, i have never, not ever, not even when i was 8 months pregnant, known a month to pass so slowly.

Been sort of avoiding the forums cos i know we still have a long wait and we're both finding this really really hard, I thought after meeting Rob in person it would be easier because there would be no doubts at all but it just seems to be harder cos we want to be together.

Anyways, as soon as I get my divorce papers i'll be sending them off to Rob so he can send in the petition.

It's good to see some people seem to be making progress smile.gif

Looking forward to updating with good news soon smile.gif

Counting down now to being able to file for the dissolution of my marriage, i understand it takes a month after filing to come into effect and as soon as i have the divorce papers in my hand i will send copies to Rob so he can send off our K-1 visa petition.

I'm very excited that we'll soon be able to start the journey.

Hi Guys,

tho i've posted in the forum before i thought i'd take the time to introduce myself and my loved one here in the kiwi/us thread, ha woudn't you know it i originally posted it in the wrong place and had to move it.

my name is michelle and my man's name is rob, we met on the internet, playing wow of all things

i'm currently with him at the moment visiting, our first visit since we fell in love and it has been wonderful, i've been here (Harmony, NC) since second of april and unfortunatley i have to go back 22nd may.

rob is on disability and lives with his parents and his nephew, rob is being being evaluated for a lung transplant and his doctor says it needs to be done sooner rather than later. unfortunately money is an issue and things are a bit of a mess here but i love him and i just want to get back as quickly as possible so i can be with him.

unfortunately we don't have a time line for the lung transplant or for me getting here as i need to sell my house and get a divorce so rob can start the whole visa process.

i thought i'd try and do all his side of the paperwork while i'm here in case my divorce comes through while he's in hospital, that way all he'd need to do is sign them and get someone to post them off, any thoughts on that?

another question is what is the A # they refer to in the i-129f and g-325a?

i've probably shared too much but all this seems very overwhelming and wouldn't you know it, i have 5 days left with rob and i get a cold sore

it's seems like the time has just whizzed by and the closer the 22nd gets the more anxious i get, i know i need to get back to nz and sort things out but i so want to just stay here, i guess we just have to be patient and get thru

hopefully it won't be too long before i'm posting that our process has started and we can eventually be together

michelle

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAugust 2008 Filers
Hey guys

wondering if i can get some help, thought i might start getting things ready for "that" interview.

i've been reading the guides but i'm still a bit confused (easily done heh)

i've copied the following from the guides

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):
1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

why do we need the entire package? do we actually need it for the interview, i was the one who prepared all the forms and sent them to my fiance (he's the usc) i didn't take copies of the package as there were things that my fiance had that needed to be added.

2. Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

do they want him to send me his birth certificate? not a copy but the original?

any help would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

unfortunately i'm sure there will be more questions but this is it for now.

I'd like to know what Hump Day is too?

Does anyone think that maybe once the election is done with processing may speed up? I heard that they processing had slowed down due to them processing naturalisation and citizenship apps before the election, is that true?

Altho i know realistically not to even expect anything happening until december sometime, i do check the uscis website twice daily just in case, but can someone show me what a touch looks like? i'm pretty sure nothing has happened cos the page looks exactly the same as it did on the day our NOA1 was rec'd but i'm just curious.

Now here's the real question... did you answer Part C, Q2 on the I-129f???? Lots of people miss that because it's preceeded by a military question and many are RFE'd for it.. most common one i've seen. wink.gif You would think they'd fix that but I guess that would make too much sense. whistling.gif

haha good one kim, you know what the first thing i had to do once i read that, check what that question was and check it had been completed good.gif

Our I-129F was delivered to Vermont on 08/08/08 and we haven't heard anything yet either, I think we should all just take a deep breath and keep waiting, and try not to panic, in a way it's a good sign, they can't have lost all three of our apps smile.gif
