Sus I would have no issue if they respected me. I feel in all honesty alot of women start off as friends but then feelings come into play. Esspecially when ur man treats them with kindness they have never had before. My husband is a listener and feels like he can empathize with anyone and women take it to mean he wants them. I have had his women co-workers call say they have the wrong # then call back and hang-up on me.

I have male friends but they speak to him and ask for me. So it's all in how ur SO handles his friendships.

I am a likkle late but I like Pan Dressing and Giblet Gray with cranberry sauce.
I am thankful for all God has blessed me with wether I deserved them or not.
I thank him for guiding me to VJ were people understand the stress and strife.
I thank him because when I look around I know I am blessed, I have good friends that tell
me when I look bad or talk to loud and that my opinion sucks!!!!!!!
I have a husband that puts up with all my ups and downs because sometimes I look at me and how I sometimes miss treat him and he's still here.
I am thankful because I finally realized that he is not just here for a greencard but for me!!!
I am thankful because we are listening to each other instead of talking over each other.
I am thankful that God has allowed us both to bury old baggage and look to a brighter future.
Loving someone should be unconditional, life is to short to make second guesses on our decissions.
God lets life be a lessoned learned, if not for my past mistakes I would not have my son. If not for my divorce I would not have gone back to school to be a nurse. If not for trials and triblations I would not know the meaning of joy and peace.
IF NOT FOR VJ I WOULD NOT NO THE MEANING OF FRIENDS!!!!!!!!! We are all blessed!!!!!

Girl their relationship is wierd to say the least. She filed when I did but he was denied for admitting to having smoked weed, so he was band for 3 years from the date of filing. She has been having second thoughts for a long time now. She went to see him in Sept spent a week and he was not as attentive as she felt like he should be!!! My husband is adament about not returning to Jamaica untill 2010 so we are just going to enjoy a long weekend with out stress or pressure. We have been friends forever so we get along well and we both like to travel. We have never been to Negril and she doe not want me to feel like a third wheel. The only trouble we will probaly get into is if we see the MIDGET rofl.gif .

I had to get over not taking my meds. I'm fine today so far...as long as I don't let time expire from my last dose to my next dose. My last dose was 1130...so somebody remind me in four hours to take my next dosage. YUCK...I hate pain meds. I feel so loopy/tired/drained/spacy.

Austin is doing good. He'll be 15 soon. He's a good boy and got pretty good grades on his report card yesterday (all B's), except for 1 grade because he failed the flippin county assessment. I'm bummed that I wasn't able to make JALove's baby shower and meet everyone. Austin's soccer game was re-scheduled for right smack dab in the middle of the party and his game was in Virginia.

Where are the stories as to how adjustment for the SO is going? I still have adjustment issues daily
What types of accomplishments has the SO obtained? He recieved drivers lisence,he knows how to get around Atlanta on the bus, has a good job, knows how to cuss in English only knew how in Patois, has won several certificates in school.
What types of obstacles with the move have they encountered? Learning how to dress , bless him he never cared what he wore in jamaica(any colors together would be fine). Learning that everyone that smiles at u in America is not friendly.
How has the whole inital visa process shaped your now life? I have learned patience and he has taught me to listen. I pray more and so does he!!!!
Was it hard for the SO to assimilate into the American culture? Yes at first. He felt like anyones Yard was free to sit in. He also liked taking a chair and sitting it at the front door and drinking a Red Stripe( can u say police). He had to learn that we don't throw trash in the front YARD.
Do they like the States? Yes he says he has more oppertunity here.
Was it what they expected? He!! no the street aren't paved in gold and there are no money trees in the Yard. For some unknown reason he had the idea that we didn't work hard here. Time took care of that!!!!
How has climate affected them? He really loves the winter here says it fells like up in the ills.
Are they in school or working? both
Were there any obstacles here? People understanding him because his accent is very deep.
