I am a white female from Georgia and my husband is from Morocco. He gets extremely dark during the summer. African Americans think he is one of them, Spanish people think he is one of them, and Indians from India think he is one of them. My family never had a problem with him and we never had a problem when we lived in my very small southern town. Don't worry too much once people get to know him they'll like him.

My husband thought he wanted to until he had lived here for 3 years and then went back to see his family and help his sister take care of some business. He got so aggravated trying to deal with people who want wouldn't take care of business without a bribe and trying to drive where no one really follows the road laws, that he called me from there to tell me we are never moving back to Morocco. Once he came home he was ready to buy a house, get his citizenship and forget about living in Morocco. We will visit but not stay.

I've been to Morocco twice. The first time when I met and married my husband. We traveled to Marakkech and Essouria. The second time we traveled north to Tangier. The first time I arrived in morocco a lady at the airport began talking to me and once she found out I was there alone she began to insist I go home with her. She was worried about a woman being alone in Morocco...lol. I quickly explained I would be staying with my husbands family and she was relieved but stayed near me to make sure someone picked me up from the airport. The people there are just so nice and caring. I love Morocco and its people.

Advice in buying Caftan In Moroco

My advice. Walk around and find the ones you like, then show them to your fiance and disappear. He will get them at a much better price alone than if you are with him. We have done it this way since my first visit in 2003. They won't haggle as low with an American as with a native.

No we didn't plan this at all. He actually has a doctors appointment in Australia next with a specialist that took him several months to even get and his medications run out shortly. Obviously now he can't make it but he had a lot of things coming up there, that's the reason why his trip was only 7 weeks instead the full 90 day visa waiver period. It's just as his departure date neared we both got so sad and couldn't bare it. I went to the post office last week and applied and paid for passports for both me and my daughter so that we could fly to Australia in September to see Chad and meet all of his family and friends. Now when the passport comes in I have to have it changed since we're married and I took his last name.

We are so HAPPY!!!!! We did it, yesterday we went and got married. My "Husband" Chad is an Australian citizen and is here on a visa waiver. We're not really sure what is the next step. We want to file for a change of status and start the process immediately. His visa waiver is until September 7th. Please is anyone could direct us in the right direction. Some family and friends have suggested that we retain an attorney. Should we try and do that? Is that the best thing to do?

The doctor I saw last month wasn't my regular G/P he was another doctor in the office. But I am upset that he didn't mention that to me since that is the first question the ask you when their weighing you and taking your temp., what medications are you taking if any and I always say birth control. If I had knows the possibilities I would have declared a no fly zone in the house, lol.

I am so stressed and unable to sleep. I don't mean to burden any of you on here because I know everyone has a lot on their own minds and dealing with these processes is so draining.

I married my husband Chad at the end of July here in the states and we have spent everyday since the day following it trying to gather everything that is needed to get this ball rolling. And by everything I mean all the paperwork together as well as the money since as well all know it's not cheap. Other people who haven't been in this situation wouldn't think getting these paper's together and filling out all these forms was time consuming and stressful but it really is, as you all know. I admire each and everyone of you that are on here and all those that aren't but have gone through and are still going through this.

I haven't been feeling good recently and I thought I was coming down with a cold or it was just stress, since last month I was sick and on antibiotics. So I went to the doctor this morning since they were open til 2pm and I'm not sick I'm pregnant. I honestly thought my doctor was pulling my leg. I said I think you may have mixed up my cup with another woman's because I'm on birth control and I practice um how shall I safe "safe sex". And he looked at my chart and said you were in here last month and you were prescribed antibiotics did you not know that they affect your birth control? I said no but that would have been nice to know.

Don't get me wrong I am so happy that I'm pregnant, I love my husband and this is an absolute blessing! I just can't put into words how I feel except to say that I feel so overwhelmed right now. I'm even more scared now knowing this then I was before when it comes to the CR-1 and what the outcome will be. I have a daughter who will be 8 in October who has a depressed immune system so she is home schooled and constantly at the doctor. I was in a car accident almost three years ago and suffered serious injuries and because of it I'm legally disabled. I'm sacred that their is going to be problems and we will be seperated for months and I will be going through this pregnancy alone.

My husband tells me to keep these thoughts out of my head and that everything will work itself out and to not stress but I just don't know. He's over the moon that I'm pregnant and dare I even say emotional about it. Shhhh don't tell him that I told you all that, you know how some guys are about emotions. This will be his first child and he's always wanted to be a daddy and I just wish and pray that everything goes ok and that he is able to be an active part of everything.

No, it is not too early to contact them. You can do it at any time but? When it have the affect you want. probably not. Everybody has to sit it out and wait. Being my second k-1, things have not changed a bit. But remember, you always can contact them it is your tax dollars, make them earn it!!!

Well, if history holds true and what I can deduct from the immigration timelines section of this web site it appears we will start to see some mmovement. Feb and april were bad but if you look at last may vermont seem to come back on track during that month. That is what we can hope for. You guys go look and see if you see the same thing as i do. Ok, Everybody keep there shirt on here. We are still in April but it is fading fast. I hope they will shift their Attention to the K-1 filers next in May. If you have looked at the timelines there has been nothing per say come out of VSC. Speculation on my part we can hopefuly assume they have had attention on other visa types. I hope that changes as we move into May. From the dates here it tells they are working on Jan 27.r For me that places me at the 100 day mark for NOA2. I have contacted my congressman and had them ask about my file. Who knows if it helps or hurts but it made me feel like i was doing something.

I am hoping for August for Anna to be here. We still both have a lot of work to do. She has to close flat, i have to get another home for here in Jacksonville. Bank accounts, drivers license. Focus on the positive my friend. Work now so you can play later. Think of the things you can do now to make their experience a good one and one with no pain. It helps me and make time move faster. Hang in there Man we are with you.

That is the riddle that the veterans can answer for sure but I feel it would be how they distibure their case load or what type of cases they have the most of to attempt to create a balance. I do not know this for fact and i am only assuming. I am at the 44 day mark. When you see a 38 one come by it makes you say WoW!!!! I prepared for one hundred day wait. I feel i have 90 more days to her interview in Kiev approx. I am wichful and hopeful it will happen in that time frame.

What did you contact your congressman for? I'm curious if this is something we should do as well. I had contacted one earlier, prior to trying for the K1, and had gotten a document stating my congressman's approval for my partner to enter the country, but it didn't do much for the tourist visa. : \

You can do this and they do a inquiry into your file. No one really knows if this helps or not. I did because i just wanted to do something in the hope the USCIS would understand someone else is aware and looking at our file. USCIS really does not answer to the congress and senate but they accept questions and kick out a "boiler plate" answer to these questions.
