K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	She passed the interview !!!!!!!   Her appointment was at 10AM and she got out by 12. The interview was long. We got a list of questions that are normally asked in an interview from a website and we practiced that carefully. Even so, there were some questions that caught her by surprised like "how did I get my citizenship ?", "why did I get a divorce?" etc.   Everything else was pretty much similar to what other users have posted here.   Congrats! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	Yesterday we had our interview, and we were approved.  We spent most of the time waiting around as the lady that we saw first that took all our documents put our case under a different number, and then when we went up for the actual interview part the "error" was discovered and so then we had to wait for them to fix that, which felt like it took soooo much time.  But when we went up the second time we were asked hardly anything it seemed, and then she handed me the little slip of paper that said that we were approved.  I was so so so so happy!  Now to organise moving!   Congrats to you! USCIS was useless in helping me on the phone, does anyone know if they want my photocopies of the original forms that are dated back in January? or do they want me to update everything and date it to August. Any help is appreciated. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	Hi Everyone!!!!   I just received my case number from the NVC....when i check my status online, CEAC website, it says "Your case is in transit to the consular section.  Your interview date was provided to you by the nation visa center".  I get the part of "your case is in transit...."  But the NVC office did not provide me a interview date.....has anyone received a interview date from the NVC?  Kind of confused....LOL     Your consulate will provide you with an interview date after they receive your approved  case file! For more information, please contact them directly.   Does anybody know when my fiance can start calling them if they got our petition? and is it normal that is says "Department of State"? However I received below update email today:   "On August 14, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."   Does that mean they just sent it to NVC yesterday?? so what were they talking about on the 7/28 letter that they have sent the petition to NVC.... Unfortunately the package requires identification, so my fiancé's sister couldn't pick it up for him. I emailed the consulate to ask if they had received our case since we were expecting no packages while we're away. Didn't want a lack of response to reflect poorly.
