Since then I've only visited him once more in October for 2 weeks. Because of my job, I can't just leave and visit but I certainly would like to. Our interview is April 18, 2007 and I'm going crazy with all the waiting. I don't have any suggestions except keep praying and try to stay busy. On VJ member whose husband is already here says we should do all the fun things we like to do now before our husbands come. Once they come life as we know it now will surely change. Middle East and North Africa	Angie's MENA slumber party!	Hi Angie, The packet I received says that if the Affid of Support was sent to NVC it did not have to be redone for the interview. Also there is no place for notarization so I don't understand why there was a problem with yours since they already reviewed it at NVC. I'm praying that it will all work out. Please specify exactly what they said. Stay optimistic and everything will be ok. Ok I just got his call and he is going to send me what they gave him. I guess the affidavid of support that i took to the bank to have notarized and she attached the notary well they didn't like that I will find out more when he emails me the paper and after I sleep. Who applied for your visa? 3. How do you know each other? 4. What is the name of the website where you met? 5. Is your wife muslim? 6. Then how can a Christian be a member of a muslim website? 7. How long have you known your wife? (My husband's answer astonished the interviewer: he answered 14 months + 5 days as men don't usually keep up with days ) 8. When did you get married? 9. Have you lived in other countries than Jordan? 10. What was your wife's marital status before you got married? 11. When did her ex-husband die? 12. How many kids does she have? 13. What is her job title? 14. Where does she work? 15. What is your job title? 16. Why doesn't your wife come to live here in Jordan rather than you move to the states? 17. How many times has she been to Jordan? 18. How long and where did she stay? 19. What are the dates of her visit? My husband really impressed the interviewer. Middle East and North Africa	What's Happening, Prena?	Hi Prena, I am praying that time will fly for you and Layth and he will have his visa before you know it. This is only a delay, not a denial so the news is still good. I believe that God will work out every detail for you. They asked my husband some very intimate questions as well. They ask questions that will either prove or disprove the relationship. Just use this time to get some well deserved rest; to continue to work towards your goals, and to finalize your wedding plans. Enjoyed hanging out with you last night. Irene HI everyone, you guys are so sweet and i'm thankful to have you because i don't know how i am going to get through this..... WAITING 2-6 WEEKS FOR AP!!!! We were APPROVED!!! Praise God for this! Thanks you ladies (you know who you are) for stopping by last night and especially for the troopers who I fell asleep on lolololol. He was given the paper that he requires additional admin processing and the Officer smiled and said 'half congratulations,' as soon as this is complete they will call him for his passport! He experience was typical. Except they didn't like the 'passport-sized photo' he had they said it was 1/2 centimeter to big lol. So he ran outside to get 2 new ones made. He had tons of proof some she looked at BUT I am 99% they had reviewed our case in great detail because she had the pictures from our k1 packet and asked him about them. Interestingly she specifically asked him about my ex husband and if he was sure he would take care of me and not hurt me the say "A" did. I was shocked. That also tells me she read my waiver (because I'd filed once before in my lifetime) and my k1 packet because I put it all in writing upfront. The other two strange questions were, what is the name of my son's friends and his teacher's name. At the end of the interview she smiled and said I believe you and she made my fiance take the oath. Ladies, if you have any prior marriages/red flags, I cannot stress how important it is that you and your man really know each other in/out. She asked just 2 or 3 other questions, that would not have been answered had he not known my childhood situation with my parents, etc. Now we hang out for AP to clear, she said 2-6 weeks. I got a feeling it will only take the 2 weeks, but either way we are thankful to God we got approved. My fiance also says thank you to the ladies from the slumber party last night. He thought it was really sweet the way we supported each other. I'm taking off today to catch up on some rest and put my nerves back in order. My attention can now shift to losing these last 5 pounds i need to in order for my wedding dress to fit perfect! oh and p.s. she commented on how neat our packet he brought to the interview was - she asked him who helped him with it - he said he and I did it together (more like ME did it together lolol, but I let him take some credit - heck he got through the interview). thanks again all!	irahaymeh	Female	Jordan	2007-05-10 11:07:00

Middle East and North Africa	What happens at airport entry point	Tawfiq will depart Amman next week, May 16th. His plane arrives in Chicago at 5 pm and he has a reservation on American Airlines to depart Chicago for Atlanta at 6:30 pm. Can anyone tell me how long it will probably take him to go through customs and immigration officer at the airport? And, what happens if he misses his connecting flight to Atlanta?
