K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 Filers	It's been less than a week since I returned from India and I am not sure how I'm gonna survive months and months and months of waiting to see my fiance again. I really don't know how so many do it. I'm going to investigate taking an assignment with my company in India. Even if it is for a couple of years at least I'll be with her. Just seems like nonsense to put people through such a lengthy and emotionally draining process because of where a person was born. Sorry..venting I know. Ok, back to watching the Olympics. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 Filers	I just submitted my I-129F petition to Vermont yesterday via DHL. Waiting for proof of receipt today. I thought I'd get the conversation started for those joining me on the journey this month. I look forward to sharing stories along the way. My fiance is Indian and resides in Bangalore. We got engaged on 7/30/08 and I just returned from India on Monday. This site has been really fantastic in helping me feel confident that I can do this process on my own and with the great assistance and advice of the community here. Unfortunately, Haiti has changed the process so that you no longer get the visa the same day. So he won't actually get the visa in hand until January 5. I got my NOA1 on Sept 4 and just got NOA2 on Oct 15. Also, I was scared about a month ago as I thought I should have sent 4 copies of the G325A. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Bank letter question for Interview	I also bank with them and I presume I received the same letter, there was a $30 fee. It references all the information you mentioned. I had them insert for the sponsorship of my fiance, just to show relevance to what I was doing. But with or without his name, it's the same letter. It's the only reference type letter they offer so it should be fine. It does come addressed to you but what you can also do is go online and print a couple of your statements as additional proof. I've heard the bank statement isn't even as important as the W-2's, your employment verification letter and pay stubs so be sure to have those too.	MrsErnie	Female	Jamaica	2010-08-11 17:38:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K1 VISA APPROVED!!!	Congrats! You must be SO excited!!! I'm interested to hear how the interview was?! We're still waiting for a date... The interview was very basic actually. No seriously detailed questions, she had adequate proof of relationship, (printed Cell phone bills, pics, e-mails etc) and I think that pretty much helped answer all the questions they had. Most of it was a reaffirmation of the POR. Of course that was our interview, it seems from what I have read on here that everyone seems to have a different experience. Our experience, journey, and end result was exactly what we planned for and expected, everything was very straightforward. Just don't be nervous and all will be well. If you've been approved for the interview then the majority of your problems are over. According to the NVC when I called them to check on our interview process, Roxana had already been deemed 100% eligible for the VISA and all paperwork was 100% approved we were just waiting for the interview date. The interview is a confirmation meeting as much as anything else to prove the the applicant is who they say they are and that the identifications are verified. It is also a chance for the consular officer to meet with you and determine that you are for real and that your relationship is for real. If all of that is completed then you have no worries. Hope this helps, Good Luck on Monday, if DHL tells you 3 to 5 days for your VISA to be delivered that's accurate, Roxana's was delivered to her yesterday morning. 5 Days from the interview.
