Anyone help please?

I just finished my DS-160 form and got my confirmation letter sent in my email, i am going to look for appointment date in cgifederal.secure.force.com but it won't let me finish it or it won't let me proceed to other page coz the information i entered is the same information that i entered when i made an appointment for B1 Visa 5 months ago but in different/new email address.. I tried to open that old email address that i used for making an appointment in my B1 Visa before but i forgot the password, it ask me for username and i couldn't even remember it. Even if i will create another account it will still be the same coz they recognized my information.. Please help. Thanks!

My fiance lives in a state where same sex marriage is not yet legalize but yes your fiance can file a petition for you and intend to marry in a state that recognize same sex marriage. We just had our petition approved so take that from me!

His taxes, he just thought i don't need it.. But finally i have it
After 4 days of bugging him about it..

If you'd like some unsolicited advice, stop with the blame game. I noticed my Filipina wife also is big on deciding who's to blame or at fault all the time to. If something doesn't work out or an argument starts there's the assumption someone should be to blame. This is actually rather destructive in a relationship, when you'd best place your efforts on finding solutions to a problem regardless of the fault. When you get caught in the blame game, you'll find yourself continuing to fight over something silly just to make sure you're not the one considered to blame. Its better to put your efforts on what feelings your partner had that lead to the conflict to begin with so you understand them better and can possibly avoid setting the same conflict off again.

As I mentioned, your fiance is probably feeling a bit upset at how much personal and private information he's being asked to hand over to complete strangers. Americans are taught some of the paperwork that is being asked for are things you never let anyone see. We're also taught that letting some of this stuff get out, can destroy us financially if it gets in the wrong hands. Which is very true actually. When we're asked for more and more of this, our defenses automatically start going up, and we start reacting by saying no or finding reasons why we need not give that information.
Just trying to give you a possible idea of why he doesn't want to hand over some of these financial documents. Be easy on him, its not easy for most Americans to hand over all that is being asked for by the embassy.

I know there are informations you cannot share with anyone,
But you are sharing it with someone you are bringing in your
Country to live with you, to marry and to grow old with you. It takes

So what's the point of you marrying someone you love if you cannot

Here's the link with instructions on what to bring with to the embassy. While they may decide what you have is enough, they may also demand you get the tax forms or tax transcript. They won't deny the visa if they decide they need it, they'll give you time to provide it. My wife once said when she was asking for things I didn't think she needed, "Well if you don't mind us being delayed a month of two because they want it, then its OK if you don't send it to me." Anything she even thought she might need was sent to her after that comment. I understand where he's coming from, it starts to feel like they truly are asking for way too much as a certain point. But looking at in the light of my wife's comment and realizing how bureaucrats can be a total pain in the butt, I no longer minded making sure she had these things.

You will need his tax transcripts (these are requested and received direct from the IRS) or his complete tax return, including all forms and the W2's. If his income is close to the qualifying income, they'll want multiple years.

This scares me now coz i will be having my interview this coming friday.
He kept insisting that i don't need the 1040 coz he is not self employed.
Im pissed right now. I only have his verification of employment, 3 recent pay stubs, W2's from 2011 to 2013.. I ofcourse have the affidavit of support..

If you havent submitted it, which i doubt since NVC or USCIS asks for it, bring it or a copy of it. Youll never know what they would ask from you. 1040 is the tax form while 1099 (for independent contractor or self-employed) is the counterpart of W-2. Dont argue on a petty issue like this. He is just concern and he wants to make sure you pass the interview. Hes just like me i guess (LOL). I told my son to bring lots of docs on his interview. Again, because you just dont know what docs the Consul will ask from you. Its better to be ready than sorry. Goodluck.

That is what exactly i am fighting about, everyone in here bring their fiance's 1040 (im sure not everyone's fiance are coincidentally self-employed right), so i kept bugging him about it coz i don't want to risk anything by just lacking one document. It's actually me who kept bugging him about the 1040, not him insisting to have it hehehe

Help my K1 same sex visa was denied

I met my fiancè (which is now my husband) last March 2013. I had applied for tourist visa in june 2013 to visit my boyfriend here in the states but i was denied, after 5 months we met again and went to hong kong and macau as his birthday gift to me but before he flew to hong kong he submitted our petition for fiancè. After 23 days our petition was approved and had my interview February this year (2014) I really thought that my denial for tourist visa will be a problem but thank God i got approved during my interview. The CO was so nice and kind. Ofcourse he asked me about my fiancè and our relationship and where did we go and why did i choose him and what dating site did i met him and etc. Now im here in the states for almost 7 months now and have applied for adjustment of status. I hope you guys will be together again, i had experienced that feeling to be far away from the person you love and it's not easy. God bless u guys

is it really that long to be shipped?

have gotten the NA02 and I have our case # ... Anyway; so my fiance received a letter on OCT 2nd stating that our case will be shipped to the consulate within a week. It's been over 2 weeks now. I've called the manila embassy and they don't have it yet. Is it normal for it to take so long on being shipped?

You should be calling them everyday starting next week.

Damn... I think you have the longest way for the NOA2 (more than 1 year) as well as the NVC case number (almost 1 month). I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck! You might try to contact Department of State @ (202) 663-1225.

Are you sure you have invoice #? I thought that is not for K1 visa. Am i missing anything?

VSC Processing Time Update

Hi! I called today and they said that although the website was indicating a 5 month processing time they are actually processing applications from September 3rd. However, they only update the September 3rd processing date one time per month, so I am not sure if that date was selected a few days ago or closer to a month ago. They said I should call back in 30-60 days if I do not hear anything. I will be calling back in exactly 30 days! They woman on the phone was actually pretty nice and more helpful than other times I have tried to call. Good luck!

Its really depressing when u see people from august and September getting noa2 .....and I file in June...then I got a rfe for not sending the letter of intent to married the process from that was pretty quick because I got rfe email October 25....I send the letter the first of November ...they say they receive it the 7 of Nov and I got noa2 Nov 8...so it was moving pretty quick now am still waiting from them to send the case to the nvc ...... I hope u get your soon tho.....my fiance use to be on here every hour checkin people timeline

So happy right now, so after waiting so .long for my case to shipped to Nvc. I call uscis last week they told me they send my case off which I no was a lie , so I call dos today they said they didn't receive my case... so today my fiance call bk uscis I told his to tell them he wanted to speak to a tier operator or a supervisor, so the agent told him to perhaps he could help so m fiance told him that we got approve nov8 and that the nvc didn't receive our case so why was it still in Texas,,, so the agent told him he would get him a supervisor and that he would be on hold for an hour or he can't request a call bk which he did,,so supervisor call bk and said yes case was in Texas and we he couldn't tell us when it would reaches the nvc and that by the 19 we would get a reply from them about the progress of our case ,,,,,so m y fiance said to him we pay $340 for a service and nothing seems to be getting done,,, half hour later we got and update that the re-affirmed petition was shipped to dos......so guys don't sit down and let time pass by if u get and email that ur petition was approve and foward to the listed consulate then its still at Texas ....until Texas send u a second email that the re-affirmed petition was shipped to nvc or does then its still there
