IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2014	should I have asked for an IIN number when I was online with the NVC???        I asked for all three.. case number, IIN (Invoice Identification Number) and BIN (Beneficiary Identification Number). Lady on the phone gave me all three. I don't think you will need the IIN if you are still hoping your K3 will make it to the embassy. Though the next time you are on the phone with them ask them for both the IIN and BIN so that if the worst happens and they close your K3.. at least you will have all the info to start procesing your CR1. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Case returned back from NVC to USCIS	It was member Deep35472. His file was sent back from NVC to USCIS. If memore serves me right is because USCIS did not include all of his paperwork. Something was missing. I think it took about 2-3 weeks for it to be sent back. Yesterday we got mail from NVC stating that Tax return for last year was not found in the documents we sent. Though we are very sure of sending it. Have couriered the entire list of documents again to them. Did anyone else put the rounded amount in??    It depends what you used to get your income number from. For example IRS transcripts have rounded numbers whereas a 1040 doesn't. What important is what you sent in to NVC. If you sent in your IRS transcript then you are fine.   What they want is that your supporting document (ie IRS transcript) shows the same number as what you have filed in on your I-864 form. Agent Sarah said my AOS documents are currently being reviewed.   Sooooo when should I call back to find out if I'm getting a dreaded checklist? I asked her twice about it and both times she said she can't see anything, she asked if I submitted the IV packet yet, and I told her NVC received that on May 16th (that's the day they scanned it in).   I would call later today. Wonder if I have a CC yet.   Congrats by the way!!!   I would give a call today. I got a false checklist on the may 21 for the IV package asking for the AOS. I called them at 7:30pm EST, confirmed it was a false checklist and asked about the AOS. They told me it is in line to be reviewed. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2014	I hope and pray that's true. My docs were received April 29th and I still have not heard anything. No checklist, no case complete, nothing   Same boat as you guys, and same dates too. No checklists, no nothing! I called this morning (been trying to get through since yesterday lol). ANYHOO they have my AOS and IV packets but they have not been reviewed yet. She said it can take up to 30 days bla bla bla. I told her I realized the website had some updates over the weekend and will the status of my civil documents change from N/A to 'reviewed/check list/accepted'? She had no clue what I was talking about and asked me three times what site was I trying to access the information. So I explained again, I told her on th CEAC site, there used to be pretty green check marks but now those are gone. Instead it states "N/A" for my civil documents and it confused me as I know they're at NVC. She confirmed there were changes but other than that has no clue about the details of the updates and says she doesn't think the status will change from "N/A" to anything else.   How lovely of them to update their web site and then not explain the changes to their customer service reps so they can then explain the changes to customers. Unless you are actually going through this immigration nightmare, you have no idea  how heartbreaking it is not knowing how long it will take and when it will come to an end...   they just answer the phones.  My lawyer thinks its ok to just let the NVC or UCSIC do their job. He doesn' t call for updates. I wonder if  other people ( non-VJers) call like we do?  do they sit and wait for emails from the NVC??  That would suck !   I have no idea if other people call, but I do feel sorry for them if they don't. Calling NVC, even if just to be told to keep waiting, still makes me feel like I have some control over this whole process! At least I can pick up the phone and badger them with questions if I want.   But good lord that guy aggrivated me! His codescending tone is what erked me. Got the same story, please wait 30 business days. So, since I had waited so damn long to just be disappointed again, I ask the guy (didn't catch his name) why on the updated ceac website, on my summary page, does it show N/A under the supporting docs column if they already have my documents. He had no clue what I was talking about. I had to literally explain to him how I access the summary page, and what the summary page now looked like. The only thing he has to say to me is why am I checking my summary page!  To which I replied, Im checking it because it was updated to provide more information, which apperently we still can't access! Everything has been on hold for 9 months now...soon 10. I would like to know if it is worth going to meet my husband in Portugal for the summer or if he'll be here in early July so we can start our lives in our new home.    Hoping there is good news for many of us this week.   I am assuming they are done with June interviews. Anyone know when they will start scheduling July?    Im still trying to get through.. Been getting the busy signal for the past 3 hours..   I think June interviews are done, though I could be wrong.. I changed my name to my VJ alias of course   CEAC.png     I imagine we are lucky it rolled out without more issues. Maybe that part will rollout at a later date.. Hopefully after I am long gone. I don't need anymore delays.  It is about time they decided to add a status update on the site to take care of some of the phone calls.  I am sure people will still call so they know earlier. NVC doesn't exactly work fast these days.   Fantastic .. so basically that feature is useless for now. And I agree with you LoveMyTico.. No more delays!
