i know this isn't the correct section for this question but i'm not sure which one i need.

we have gone to Manila & done the interview passed the interview & are waiting for the visa to arrive. it's been over a week now & i'm wondering how much longer it's going to be. i've heard so many different time frames that i'm not sure which one to believe.

I've heard anywhere from 5 days to 12 days.......you can check with 2go and track it or call embassy and ask em if its been "printed" thats the best i can tell you!!....good luck

some have said that you have to have had your menstruation cycle BEFORE the medical and other say AFTER your cycle.

Female applicants of child-bearing age cannot undergo medical examination during their menstrual period. Applicants who have their menstrual period should come back one week after the last day of their period.

3.If married, certified true copy and photocopy of marriage contract on security paper from the National Statistics Office, or Local Civil Registry Offices; or original and photocopy of marriage contract duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/ Consulate (if married abroad)
4.Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and
5.Payment of P250.00 counseling fee.

What if any is the "Other documents as may be required by the counselors" ? Is there somthing else we will need? Number 3 doesn't apply in our case.





you may bring at least 5 photos of you and your fiancee while he spend time here in the philippines. coz in my case they ask for a picture and i show 3 pictures and the CO get one pic.

yes its possible, but depends on how much time YOU have

she'll know during the interview if she gets the visa, but haveing it delivered is the time catch, we got our VISA in 4 days after interview, ive read here some waiting 14 to 20 days for it so if you are on a 21days visa yourself opps u see so make plans according...........:thumbs: :whistle:

Save your money. I forgot to put my fiances G325A in the packet. I had it ready so when I got the RFE it was ready to go. It delayed mine for 2 weeks. She doesn't have to sign it. If I read a lot of post correctly, she will sign it when she goes for the interview. Good luck and don't beat your head against the wall for this, it will all be OK.

So you can see the generated form? If so try right clicking on it and saving it as a file. Then open the file and try to print it. Not sure it will work but something to try.

Tried that and it prints out on 3 pages and pagebreak in middle of 2nd page. Plus It has to actually print a barcode.. There will be a third page that has a barcode also. I guess just fill out all the questions for her and when she gets to the embassy can fill out acutual form there.

For the child I just put Relocation to the USA. You must use Internet Explorer or it wont print.

I am using ie, but still not printing. I have adobe 10 and running windows7. I am not a computer genius so if anyone can help me I would be most appreciative. It is only the DS-156. I have all other forms printed and ready for the embassy.

Well, we have our interview scheduled. 2 weeks ago we received NOA2 and noticed touches on my petition changing quickly. I called 2-9-12 to NVC and they told me mine was mailed to the consulate on 2-2-12. I called embassy on 2-10-12 and they said not received. Later that night I noticed another touch for that day. That was Friday. It is Monday morning here in Kharkov and we just called the embassy. They had our paperwork and she scheduled appointment. It was such a sight to see her face light up and she couldn't hardly breath with excitement. I wish I would have taken a picture. Wish us luck!!! I hope everyone has a great journey like we have had for our first.

My computer just sits there trying to load the form from evisaforms.state.gov. In the tab it shows ieframe and the circle spinning as in loading. I printed it all out in USA and have to make some changes and now that in Ukraine it won't load the form. I might have to put firefox on this computer. IE has gotten bad. I just didn't know if it is my computer or if anyone else was having this problem.

I didn't use a lawyer so I am not sure what you get for what you paid for. I know you will have to send her I-134 and all the items that back up your financials to her. Just follow the instructions on what you need. As far as the embassy, my fiancee's interview is this Thursday and will let you know more after. I am going with her. I hear that I can be with her. I assume this is normal to be at 4 months waiting; is there anything I should be "doing" now, other than sit tight and hope for the best? My fiancee's friend got NOA2 in 3 months (from CSC). We want to start making babies soon (literally) and she's not getting any younger so I don't really like waiting... the odds of success go down quickly as time progresses.

I know how you feel.. Our petition was approved just shy of four months and it felt like years ! I've known my fiancee over three years now and most of it was because her birth certficate was screwed up. The midwife who delivered her, wrote in my fiancee's mom married name in the maiden name spot. It showed she had no middle name (they typically use the mom's maiden name as their middle name)and couldn't get her passport. We had to hire a lawyer to correct it. The first one scammed us.. we waited eight months and found out he never filed anything. We hired a second attorney and it nearly took a year to get it done. So, I waited TWO YEARS just to get a birth certificate corrected. Then, I finally got the chance to send off the petition. I'm glad I got to know her more, but the wait has been very LONG. Just hang in there and if you truly love that person, just know it will be all worth it when the times comes. Take care !!

Here I am after the NOA2, finally getting my stuff together to get it sent off. I'm not a rich guy and I got a steady job working for over 10 years. I make over 50K a year and got a few thousand in savings. I went through a rough patch last year and finally getting over it. I sent my fiancee lot of money in the last three years since we known each other. Not including the three times I flown to see her in Cebu, hotels, spending money and etc. My mom & dad who are both retired had rough time financially last year and I did my best to help them out. Not to mention my brother, who gotten divorced and had to move in with me for a while to get back on his feet. After reading rccup posting gotten me kinda worried about the whole thing and worry that the CO at the embassy would deny us. I would appreciate any advice or comments would be great help...

I just got recently approved too. Before my interview, I never thought my fiance was nervous. But then while talking to him, I sensed that he was not just telling me he was nervous coz he want be be the strong part of me when I feel weak or like that time nervous. But then when I knew he was way too nervous than me, I called him up when I was at yet outside the embassy telling him not to worry. I am positive and confident enough that we can make it. I believe in instinct and do believe that as long as we believe, we drive positive vibes and make things happen..ofcourse I have strong faith in Heavens above and lift everything up to Him. It took me until about lunch time before we finished, and he wants me to let him know if we got approved or not. Sure enough, he kept waiting and was relieved to hear such a great news.
