IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	DS-3032	Hey, we sent all our final documents to the NVC about 2 and a half weeks ago and when we called to see what was happening the woman told us they would take 20 days to review it. I'm not sure if the 20 days applies to everything you send to the NVC or just at our stage but thought I'd pass on the information we were given. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	UK Medical question	I had to fill out a form to have my records released to me. My doctors surgery seemed suspicious of me wanting them for some unknown reason-they are MY records! I'm not sure how you would go about getting them if you're not in the country. When I explained I needed them for an american visa I was told I couldn't take them out the country!? Seems crazy to me, but that might have just been my surgery. Plus, once I have them in my hands and have paid for them (there is a fee attached-of course) I could take them anywhere I want. The whole thing seemed strange to me. Sorry I haven't been much help. I'm assuming I'll have to pay for it since I'm not in the group that would get it for free. I don't even have my interview date yet but I think I should have it by January so just trying to get as organised as possible. I had a look at the vaccination requirements for the UK London medical and the only one it looks like I would need is the flu shot. Is this something that can be done in London at the medical or should I try and get it at my own Doctors beforehand? The instructions on how to pay the fee will come with your packet from the embassy. It's really simple and takes 2 minutes. The A number will be on the visa page in her passport and if I remember correctly the case ID is the USCIS number. It's all really straightforward to pay and all the instructions are included. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	unfair	That's not the case at all...They work in batches. When I was waiting for my interview, it was very few K1's being interviewed. It depends on when you apply, get approved and the details of your petition. Some cases are more difficult than others and take more time. I've been in this process for almost a year. It just takes patience you...you will soon have your interview and be with your loved ones. Also, keep emailing the embassy. I emailed them and gave them a timeframe of when I wanted my interview and they scheduled me for 2 weeks after my interview. No offence, but you sound like USCIS official. And yes it's true K-1 visas are processed quicker. I think that it's absolutely unfair! Here is the reason.CR1 got their visa include green card which for K1 we need to do green card process back in state. It's still unfair! The unpleasant truth is that it can take up to 8 weeks to get your NVC number. The most annoying about it is that you have to call them every day, hang on the phone for 30 min in order to get the same ignorant response: "Well, you know it takes at about 8 weeks......" Has anybody dealt with the situation that during your immigration process the American Embassy was evacuated from your country 'cause of military threat or teract threat? It's not the case in my home country, Ukraine, but I'm afraid it may happen. What am I or my husband to do if it is the case? Are there any special procedures or steps taken in such situation? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ALL Nebraska I-130 Filers	We have been waiting NOA2 since last June 5 2013.  We got Transfer info in Dec 19 2013 and it says call or contact them if you don't get any notification within 60 days. So we supposed to call or contact them but we will wait until the end of Feb. Currently, processing time is 9 month, so you probably need to wait that time too.   Good luck!   We applied in July, but our 60 days are also due in the end of February. However, from my husband's experience it's absolutely useless to call them. It looks like they just have a list of bullshit excuses. Nobody ever knows anything. Nobody knows their phone number.
