You definitely won't have a problem with the medical exam over surgery for a cyst. On another note, sometimes getting your vaccinations ahead of the exam can be cheaper, so that's something to look into.

Its an ovarian cyst and it happened 3 years ago. I dont use drug ever and dont have plan. Mental problems? I dont think so. I am in a good shape I guess. I think it depends on the policy of the embassy. Our lawyer just asked for my BC, MC, scan biographical part of my passport and my police certificate. The NVC asked for it.

I think you better inform them. And dont file the I-129f for that was the form needed to file in USCIS for the K3 route. CR1 is a much better visa. More cheaper and less paperwork when your spouse is already in US. smile.gif

This is because you are going through Manila and other embassies don't request that these documents be sent to the NVC. The choice of agent needs to check the Department of State web site or call the NVC directly to find out what documents they need to send with their DS-230.

I am a Filipina and done with this process. But we are still waiting. blink.gif Unfortunately, our lawyer didn't asked about my NBI clearance. He do asked for my police certificate, birth and marriage. I sent all the original copies to them. In your case, I think you need to pass the original copy and keep the personal one for you. Try to call the US embassy about this. My friend has the same problem as this. The USEM just suggested her to go to Manila 1 week or earlier on the date of her interview. I did told her to print that site where she found her medical and interview. But I am not sure. She even called DHL and told her that the packet was returned to sender since she is from Mindanao and she can get it on the day of her medical at SLEC. Try to call DHL too. Just wait for 1 more week for the packet to arrive. smile.gif Congratulations and goodluck to your hubby.

All the documents and paperworks from NVC will be send to the choice of agent and I guess that was u. You didn't submit police cetificates, they didn't ask for it? Coz in our case, I am from the Philippines, they do ask.

K1 visa process is different from CR1/R1. We got our case number as soon as our case enter NVC. Our case number comes from NVC I guess.

Ohh, Im sorry. I think that was the packet where the DS230 forms are included. We got a lawyer and he is the automatic agent of choice but I guess it has a barcode sheet, DS230 forms part I and II. Our lawyer sent me the DS230 part I and II, signed it and sent it back to NVC. I hope that would help. smile.gif

I have seen a packet from the US embassy in Manila, I dont know if packets are the same. But I will share u what I found out. It includes an appointment letter for both the medical and interview. Checklist on what to bring during both ur medical and interview. A sample of a visa photo, map of both the clinic and the embassy. Thats what I just remembered. Goodluck to u and to us too. smile.gif

My husband called the NVC today, it is a general holiday so he didnt talk to a live operator instead he just try the automated one and according to it, our case has been completed last Oct. 4! That was really a good news. smile.gif It says also that I may have my schedule in 6-8 weeks, is that true? That was quite long but its ok we made it this far.
