Oh yeah CFO...Forgot about that laughing.gif ..that will be March 6 or 7..No he is not packing yet because I made him shop clothes in PI because clothes here in the US for guy is expensive laughing.gif ..But as soon he is done shopping, i will make him pack laughing.gif ..that's how crazy I am to be with him!!! good.gif

Question.. Where are you guys in the States?

Cause if your in the North East or North West.. It would be better to buy clothes here.. Winter clothes.

Howdy.. South here!..very little snow and sometimes not even have snow on winter time laughing.gif

Well, howdy...

I am living in the south as well...in Nashville.

Your case went thru pretty quick, I filed back in July and Acel's interview is scheduled for March 3rd...she isn't planning on coming to the US until end of March/first part of April, she wants to spend Holy week with her family.

Philippinesto bring a companion with me during the interview
I think you will be allowed to bring a companion with you. Don't think they would be that bad.. I agree, just have your companion bring at least 2 valid IDs.

QUOTE (mirazalea @ Feb 6 2008, 02:54 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Based on what I read in various posts, no one is allowed to go inside the embassy with the applicant during the interview. I am a disabled person (I walk in crutches) and I'd like to bring a companion with me (my sis-in-law) to assist me with carrying my things and documents (it's bulky I'm sure). If this is the policy, should I write a letter to the embassy to inform them with this concern to allow my companion to go with me during the interview? Thanks in advance for your valuable info.

Philippineshow much does western union charge?
Last time I tried using Xoom, my bank's fraud detection blocked the transaction. I ended up using moneygram, was cheaper than xoom.

I also tried putting Acel on my account, they wouldn't put her on it until she signed some paperwork.

PhilippinesPhone Communication for Philippines
I just use my Cell Phone. I have Sprint service on their SERO plan (http://delivery.spri.../epclanding.asp and use email address savings@sprintemi.com if you want to check it out). I pay the $4 International Long Distance Plan and my rates are $0.19/minute for landlines and $0.23/minute for cell phones. Might not be the cheapest way to call, but well worth the price for the convenience of being able to call from anywhere.

PhilippinesDS 156 Form question
when printing the DS156 form, since there should be 2 copies of DS 156 that will be submitted, does it have to be the same barcode or do you have to just print 2 copies of the same barcode? or does it have to be two different barcodes for each?

QUOTE (Roy and Yazi @ Feb 6 2008, 05:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
the barcode contains info you entered on the form. it helps speed up processing when you go for your interview.

I'm just wondering on packet 4, there were DS156, DS157 and DS 156K forms included... When bringing it to the interview, do i have to use those forms and handwrite it or is it possible to fill it out online and print it directly so everything will be neat and clean? (not that my handwriting is that bad, but it will be more clearer and cleaner if it will be printed.. hehehe... lol tongue.gif )

The next question is... where does the barcode on the form come from? How do i get it? Who issues the barcode?

Am i right in saying that in paying the visa fee, the bank will validate one copy of the DS157 and this will be the same exact form you have to bring with you on the interview?

any clarification on this one anyone? Im confused here... wacko.gif

thanks

Hi, this is where you get the barcode. Fill out this form and then click CONTINUE. it will generate the forms with your barcode. THEN you print it out.

DS 156 Form for barcode

yes you will bring the bank validated form to your interview. It shows you paid for the visa. All these forms are not expired. They are good until 9/08 or 2010.

DS 157

DS 156K

PhilippinesQ: self-employed status but has an employer
You can be a contractor working for someone else. The person you work for doesn't pull out anything for taxes or unemployment tax, the contracter is responsible for paying all the taxes.

As an employee (W2), the employer pays taxes on the employee.

http://www.wisegeek....a-1099-form.htm explains it a lot better.

star_smile.gif HI TO ALL VJER'S !!! FIRST OF ALL I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL GUYS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT YOU EXTENDED TO US DURING OUR JOURNEY!! PRAISED BE JESUS AND MARY!!! I PASSED MY INTERVIEW!!

I CHECKED-IN AT SOUTHERN CROSS HOTEL LAST NIGHT AT 7PM AND HAD MY DINNER AT ROBINSON'S CHOWKING. I SAID MY WEDNESDAY NOVENA INSIDE MY ROOM COZ ERMITA SHRINE IS FULL OF CHURCHGOERS EVEN AT THE CHURCHYARD. I SET MY ALARM AT 3:30 BUT I WAS AHEAD AT 2:30 .SINCE THEN I COULDN'T GET BACK TO SLEEP ANYMORE UNTIL I DECIDED TO TAKE A BATH AND GOT READY FOR THE INTERVIEW.
YES DURING THE PRELIMINARY ROUTINES ( lining up for ticket, etc..) I NEVER KNEW WHAT'S REALLY IN STORE FOR ME ( btw i was with mayeth and marissa fellow vjers ) NOT UNTIL MARISSA WAS CALLED FIRST ( she was 7059, mine is 7058 and mayeth 7057 ) TO WINDOW 24 FOR PRE-SCREENING, AND THERE WE LEARNED HOW THE PROCESS WILL GO ON.

1. it really pays off to follow some tips posted in here: i felt bad that right at the entrance, the first violator of bringing electronic gadget was the accompanying fiance who brought with him a camera, i-pod, cellphone ( only to find out later that his fiancee is incomplete of forms and doesn't have visa pics at hand ), and some of the ladies behind us were still accomplishing some of their forms had not the guard announced to get ready for ds forms to get a queueng ticket at the booth.

2. 9:30> i was the last one to be called from among the three of us ( calling of ticket numbers is randomized and does not strictly follow the order of the queueng ticket ) WINDOW 22: the lady pre-screener was so nice - she first asked for my original love letters ( HUH blink.gif ?), i don't have much of that but i offered my tons of greeting cards and she accepted it, notarized affividavit of support, chatlogs instead of phonebills ( i brought with me my 1 box of globe prepaid cards ) call card bills, tax transcripts, emails, pictures, too bad i was not able to show them our picture book ( it cannot be bent on the slot ), original employment letters, original bank statement.. that's it!!

3. while submitting all the documents she asked me, she started asking my complete name, age, my work: fiancee's name, age, what is she doing in the US and does she still lives with her mom? and what interested her most was how Michelle and I met, since when do I know her, how we communicated for such a long time, etc etc etc.. SHE WAS IN AWE AFTER LISTENING TO MY REVELATIONS!!!

4. after that friendly pre-screening she told to go back to my seat and wait for my name to be flashed again so she could get my fingerprints and not to line up at window 33, i did it after 5 minutes....

5. In about 10 minutes, my number is flashed again and oh my God!! window 30 yes.gif . Marissa was called first then mayeth and my turn. We were almost simultaneous in entering our own cubicles.

6. I waited for about a minute and was able to say APOSTLE'S CREED exactly when the applicant went out of the cubicle. As I was entering the cubicle, the kind consul greeted me and welcomed me to the US embassy and told me to sit down and relax.. after a while he told me to raise my right hand and I swore for the truthfulness of anything i would say and declare to him. I don't know if it's just a coincidence coz he had the same set of questions and again got really interested with how Michelle and I started our relationship as that with the lady in WINDOW 22. And i easily responded to all his questions. He did npot even bother to ask me additional documents that I had although I was showing all to him what I have. he was too busy working on his computer while talking to me and whispering to himself that he got all the info he needed. Then to finalize his interview with me, he verified my finger print using my left thumb ... and that's it!!! 3 minutes is done!!!

7. I was waiting for him to say something if I am approved or not and as he rose up to his seat, he just said "Congrats and we'll see you at the next window !!! and walked away from his seat...... tsk tsk tsk.. i had no opportunity to present my request letter to pick up.... twa's already 10:25 a.m.

8. I went to back to my seat and Marissa was already there, after 3 minutes Mayeth followed. We waited again for our names to be called... i don't know but the two ladies were the first one to be called at window 38. they got their claim stub and all the documents submitted earlier. After 3 more minutes my name was called and I tried to present my request letter there to the Filipino rep but she turned me down and asked her if I could still go back to the consul but she said I can't. And so I settled for DELROS DELIVERY...

9. God, please help me once again to have my visa and passport before my flight on the 15th!!! AMEN.

10. The three of us treated ourselves with a lunch at Chowking - with my ultimate LOMI!!! SARAP!!! yes.gif

sad.gif Some say it's tough during the interview date, yes it is!! But what makes it tough is that when you have not enough documents to show ( it's better to have or complete them rather than to scratch your head coz you don't have such ) especially that we are in a case-to-case basis., that of having co-sponsors, divorced fiance/fiancee....etc..

star_smile.gif One thing more, you should internalize all your answers feeling the genuiness of your love and truthfulness of your promises and vow to your fiance/fiancee..... and you can easily respond to the pre-screener and consul.

That's my experience for the day and after the lunch upon chacking-out at the hotel i called on Michelle to tell the good news as I was signing to YM on the internet shop beside the hotel. heart.gif

PhilippinesFeb. 7 Interview Experience, and Request for Visa Pick-Up
CONGRATULATIONS!!! another success story for a VJ'er...

QUOTE (ILoveJoy @ Feb 8 2008, 10:04 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi Folks,

Joy had her embassy interview for her fiancee visa yesterday (Thursday, Feb. 7), and I was with her. The interview was scheduled for 7:30 AM. After being herded like cattle, and seeing the pre-screener, we finally saw the consular officer at around 1:00 PM. The CO asked several questions and was very friendly. Since I am self-employed, I was a bit nervous about the adequacy of my I-134 affidavit of support and supporting documentation (I had bank letter, certified copy of my assumed name certificate, tax returns, etc.), but the CO barely glanced at it.

After finishing the interview, the CO said everything looked fine and Joy's visa was approved. I had previously prepared a letter to the CO requesting visa pick-up from the embassy (rather than Delbros), which stated that Joy had never traveled abroad, that she was nervous traveling alone, and that I had already purchased tickets for Joy and I to travel to the US together on Feb. 15.

I handed the CO the request letter, and also verbally explained my request to her. The CO did not hesitate in approving direct visa pick-up, but stated that she could not guarantee when the visa would be available. The lady at Window 38 took Joy's cell phone number, gave us a pink ticket stub (for admittance to the embassy for the pick-up), and told us that they would call when the visa was ready.

Well, earlier today (Friday, Feb. 8) at 3:00 PM, Joy received a call from the embassy telling her that the visa was ready, and that she should pick it up at the embassy on Monday, Feb. 11 at 10:00 AM. That was great news! Since Joy already had her CFO guidance and counseling session, we will go to the CFO on Monday afternoon after picking up the visa, and get the CFO stamp. Looks like we will have a few days to kill before flying together to the US on Feb. 15. Yehey!

PhilippinesGetting airline tickets to US
I will be having my interview on March 3 and we would have wanted to make it together by first week of April or last week of march, since we made plans. I have been trying to look for good deals as early as now but its kinda hard..

For the past few days, ihave been asking around with travel agencies and went to EXPO travel and tours in MOA yesterday, which they have only from Feb 15-17. They have really great deals there, stop and shop for tickets esp for roundtrip tickets... So far the lowest one i had was for continental air which have really great deals esp for first time immigrant visa, good news is including K1 visa.. I had them quote it for a total of $622 inclusive of tax considering its a peak season. The only problem is it's a hotstuff. As of yesterday, the most available ticket left is for Apr 10. after 2 mins, its already fully booked.. next available flight is apr 15.. Just imagine how fast it gets filled considering there's still one more day at the expo today.

If your scheduled travel date will be before March 16, you will get really good rates as low as $650 inclusive of tax already since it's not peak season. The bad news is for peak season, it's really hard to get a booking especially that they are requiring you to give the passport with visa stamp already. That's my ordeal right now.

some questions: IS IT REALLY NECESSARY TO PRESENT THE PASSPORT AND VISA TO BOOK A FLIGHT SO YOU CAN BE WITH YOUR sweetheart earlier? For those who were able to book a flight (not online) without visa at hand yet, what was your experience on this? any help would be appreciated. How did you convince them that you are willing to pay for the flight and take a risk of rebooking in case it gets worse.

I know it's advisable that you get the flight after you get the visa at hand but since it's peak season (mar 16-aug) , it seems like you may have to wait for another month or more for any available flight at highest cost after your visa was released to be with your love.

any thoughts will be much appreciated.

Alright.. So my wife had her Interview today Feb 20, 2008 @ 8:30am

We went to the Embassy at around 7:30am.. We got in fast upon the guard seeing that we have a 8:30am Interview..

Upon going to the Ticket booth to get our ticket.. We had a good vibes.. Does people in there greeted us nicely and politely, they even played with my daughter then told us to take a seat...

After 10 mins.. My wife's name was called over the microphone for Fingerprinting.. WoW!! She did it in 1 shot. Then the lady asked us to take a seat again and wait for our number to flash on the screen..

Upon seating for about 5 mins our number flashed on the screen and was suggested to go to window 28 for the Filipino Pre-screener.. The Prescreener was a very friendly man, he greeted us nicely. and asked for the needed documents politely.

Here is what he asked us..

Is he the petitioner = YES

Asked me on when I arrived in the Philippines, asked me if our daughter has her US passport already and asked for a copy of the Consular Report or Passport.. We gave her Copy of Consular Report.

Asked my wife how did I get to the US. Asked my wife what do I do for a living, Asked for proof of bonafide marriage.. We gave our photo album which did fit on the slot, when he went through the pictures he said its enough and just present any other documents on the Interview room with the consul.

He went over my I864.. He sees that my Income is on the Border line.. He asked for my 2007 ITR which I said I didn't have.. (oppsss) then asked if I have a co-sponser (sigh) YES!! and I presented my prepared Co-Sponsor I864.. (Thank God). After that he just told us to go back to our seat and wait for our number to flash on screen again for CO Interview..

15 mins has passed.. Number flashed on the screen, (Anxious and nervous) Upon going inside the CO Interview room. (WoW!! the CO is a lady.. smile.gif) Me and my wife greeted the CO good morning and she also greeted us nicely and played with my daughter a lil bit before going through our paper works...

She didn't even asked my wife anything... She took a look at our photo album and was impress on how organize our pictures were.. CO started questioning me on what do I do for a living, Asked me to explain what I really do, and if my daughter has her US passport already and she just said ("Whoa.. That makes my job a little easier")

After that she just told my wife that she will love NYC and telling her its very cold and time is very fast..

She didn't say anything about APPROVED but she was talking to my wife about that she will get a VISA and their just waiting for NSO to send the result of the Document Verification to the Embassy. I was like I already paid for it 3 weeks ago and she was like that's good and just told me she has no control over the Docs Verification Processing..

FYI: Also she told me.. Not everyone is needed for this.. I guess we were just randomly picked. She even told me that she herself believe our relationship its just that its a policy that's out of her hand..

After that she told us to wait outside and we will be called again for releasing..

After getting out we haven't even gotten a seat and we were called again over the microphone to proceed to Window 37 for releasing.. We went to window 37 and was instructed to pay for Docs Verification and Delivery fee.. I was like I already paid for the Docs Verification fee 3 weeks ago.. The clerk was shocked and told me that's a instruction that a CO would decide and I was like it is on their website to pay for the fee 3 weeks before the Interview..

After that she gave us the pink slip and told us to go to the Delbros booth to pay for the delivery fee..

We went to the Delbros booth and paid the Delivery fee, even Delbros don't know what's going on with Docs Verification..

9:30am we got out the Embassy and had a brunch @ Chowking..

So I'm a bit happy that the Interview is done and a bit dissapointed and confuse about where I stand..

Thank You all and Good Luck to all upcomming Interviews..

Hope you like my experience..

I don't think there will be an issue unless she was charged with working in the sex industry, just working in the bar doesn't mean she was a GRO. I would highly suggest getting the police background check before filing.

As for the drugs in the past, I don't think it is a ban for life, but it is a ban for a certain number of years (think it is 3 years, but not sure).

I don't think it will affect sending the results to the embassy. Even if you do the medical separately as long as the medical passed, i don't think you should worry about sending the results to the embassy. Usually SLEC is the one sending it to embassy. Just make sure you have ample time to finish your medical before your interview date.

Is it ok to do a medical exam on a different schedule? My daughter and I are supposed to be having the medical on March 4 but I am planning to have an early medical alone as she can't make it (she is coming over to Manila on March 1). I called SLEC and they said its ok to have a different medical schedule even if we are in the same petition. Anyone who had the same experience before where K1 and K2 had medical on separate dates? Will it not affect the sending of results to the embassy?

If you expect your period at the time of your medical, you might as well go for an early medical. It will be a wasted day if you will go there and they can't perform the tests on you becoz of your period. They will ask you to go back after you're done. But since usually the medical is scheduled a week before the interview, best to have an early medical. As long as you have the appointment letter already, you should be able to do your medical already. It's ok to have the medical separately. You can finish the medical in a day and then go back the next day for the results. I suggest you take your first day Tuesday-Wednesday so there will be less people.

Hi guys, I am a newbie here and I just signed up to share my K1 timeline too. I am scheduled for a medical this March 4, 2008 and interview on March 11, 2008. Just worrying a bit coz my period is due to come by the last week of Feb or first week of March. What happens when I have my period on the day of my medical? I cannot have an early medical for that matter coz I am waiting for my daughter to fly here from the province so we get to have our medical at the same time. The way I see it, we cannot have a different schedule for our medical. Any help on this would highly be appreciated. Btwm we hired our lawyer since day one but still, knowing info from those who actually gone through the same process would come in handy. Thanks

Philippineshusband died two weeks after marriage
i was just chatting with one of my friends i met at SLEC for medical. She just got here on apr 7th.. and brought in bad news about a friend of hers... They happen to both live in Orlando FL right now...

She told me about a Filipina who got married last march 20 and her now husband died apr 5. She's really devastated and kinda lost right now. She doesn't know what to do and knows no one except for my friend who she met at SLEC too. Husband was hospitalized and eventually had a heart operation and then died at 55. She said that she didn't have any money hadn't left him anything yet. Well who could expect that he would die so soon? She wanted to work though but didn't know if it's possible. She thought not for immigration purposes. To make things worse, ex-wife and child of husband is demanding some rights...

any thoughts on this... she really needs help...

PhilippinesTampo
Tampo may last for a long time until after the issue was confronted and settled..

Your girl may be thinking things for herself first before wanting to try to talk to you.. and it may last depending on the issues she had to resolve with herself first. I know coz sometimes, that's what I prefer to do... I would like to think things for myself first before trying to confront my love, so i can tell where i was at fault or if it's my love's at fault. Also it makes me clear my mind and calm myself becoz i know if im still in Tampo i can say things that may hurt him more and thus end up making things worse. But definitely, i make sure that when everything's ok, i talk to my love and tell him everything, how i felt, where and how i was hurt- definitely if someone's tampo there's hurt there somewhere, that's what we work on.

just keep trying making peace with her, be patient and do some sweet things... im sure one way or another your sweet gestures will come to her.

Our visa was delayed due to document verification even though it was payed on January 7th a full month before the interview. A Verification of receiving the text was sent by DELBROS. Today, we contacted DELBROS to find out when they forwarded our Document Verification to the US Embassy Manila. After giving our case number DELBROS discovered the Doc Verification was never sent, so they said it would be sent today. That is a 5 week and 4 day delay. This has caused my wife's visa to be put on AR. Estimated time 4 to 6 weeks.

I strongly suggest you call DELBROS after your text message verification to make sure they have forwarded the information. Nobody wants their visa delayed. The phone number is 2-339-2761.

PhilippinesVery poor communication
sorry guys... This may be long... its just that this is my only way that i can bring my feelings out... with someone actually listening.. to true genuine feelings. I really need help thru good and sound advice. U need not read the entire thing but just read the last paragraph where I ask my questions and where i need help on... but to understand where im coming from, you can read on. I appreciate all comments in advance.

May 20 - almost midnight...
I was actually awakened by a very bad dream - I felt it was so real, and I woke up to myself. found my husband still awake on the edge of the bed - doing something in his computer. I tried to calm myself down and rolled on the bed... tried hard to go back to sleep. Tried harder - I couldn't. I was feeling so bothered, since pregnant, I've been getting bad heartburn, everyday worse <that's why i always have antacid handy>, so I decided to get up and get a cold water for a drink. Still i couldn't go back to sleep. I wanted it all out. And so I thought about blogging it or post it here in VJ. I decided the latter since I could use a really good advice.

This is actually our 11th monthsary... yay! I am happy. I love my husband a whole lot, I have even convinced myself I love him more than i love myself...yeah. I have done things I have never done and/or never willing to do before when i was single that I am doing right now not because my husband asks of it but because i wanted to make him happy and please him. I guess... just a guess.. this may be where my problem started in the first place...

...back to my dream. I dreamed that I woke up the same night, the same scenario, my husband was there on the edge of the bed, still on his computer. It's 11 pm.. I woke up asking him why he's still awake, what he's doing on his computer that is much important than taking a good night's sleep... no answer. He just sat there and continued with what he was doing... so i got up and tried to peek on his computer. and then he locked it. CTRL ALT DEL. I got so mad. I was so mad, I was crying... and there was a big fight. That's when I woke up..

Reality... Had a usual day... though for me... secretly i was wanting something special to happen, something sweet on this day.. after all, this is our monthsary. He drops me off and picks me up from work but today, he asked me if somehow I could manage to have coworker drop me off at Ross and so he can just pick me up there since his boss is in town and he may not be able to leave work as expected. Fair enough. I managed. I failed my first driving test..and now I only carry a learner's permit. But since my husband is the only one i have here, there's really nobody to rely on. I don't have friends yet that I can consider really friends. I hate being in that situation. Not having friends and not able to drive. Most of it i blame myself especially for failing that drive test <this is actually a different story - funny and disappointing at the same time>. With making friends, I don't think I have problems with people. I actually make friends easily in the Philippines. But here, maybe because my world revolves around my husband like to things together all the time. He drives all the time, whenever, wherever we want to go when we are not working.

Anyway, back to today... on the way home from work, he was really saying he's tired. And I can tell he is tired. I was tired too. From all day's work and having to walk and walk window shopping, while waiting for my husband... to kill the time, carrying my handbag and a big baby in my tummy. We decided to eat out to treat ourselves since its our monthsary anyway and he said he's hungry and Im starting to get hungry too, we couldn't wait long enough to get home and make dinner. And so we did. We did our usual dinner, but as we were eating, there's not much words spoken. I tried to ask him how his day was.. do you love me.. and ask him why his eyes are almost teary and or sparkly.. but not much reply there. I felt disconnected. I have always wanted someone to share how my day was and my partner doing the same thing with me. I have always wanted to make memories, good conversation... just sharing those with someone I thought would be my husband. But i thought i'll just leave it at that... maybe he's just tired.. On the way home, while in the car, still the same thing not much words exchanged. Just sit there in silence... deafening silence. I just tried to close my eyes. And then his phone rang, he answered it - was his ex-wife, as usual. They chatted on the phone for a few minutes. He was giving her advice, where she can go to get some cheap clothes I think (the ex wife left me a message on my celfone earlier that day telling that she needs an oxford shirt, I didn't bother answering anymore. Since about a month ago, I just decided that i don't really want to be friends with her, I tried it but it's so not working for me. I only end up hurting myself more from it.. deep inside. so I just distance myself from that from now on. Try to get myself out of that situation. <this is one major big problem for me too but that's another story I might post here in VJ next time soon since i'm running out of ways to keep it to myself> After he hung up he asked me while trying to rub my hands "are you mad at me for answering the phone?".. I feel at the time, pissed but that scenario is almost always the case...nothing new there, been like that since I got here so i just replied i am not mad at you... there's nothing much I can do about it. And he took his hands away from me and again... the continued silence. I calmed down a bit. I told him "I am not mad at you... It's just that I hate that I'm in this situation. I can't do anything about it. As much as i would like to not want to be in it... that's not really reality... I guess it's just too much to ask not to talk to your ex wife, so sometimes to deal with it I just shut myself down so I don't feel as sad", coz for all the time since I came here, it never really happened even if i do sommersault its really not up to me reality is i have to face and deal with it every day. It's not really up to me. I am not the one in a relationship with his ex wife. and then again...<the one in quote i voiced out, the rest silently in my thoughts> continued silence until we got home. I walked my 2 doggies, that's also most of the time my outlet to my disappointments and frustrations here in US...brings me some joy, always put a smile on my face, makes me forget about it... my two doggies while he... as usual, gets to his computer... doing whatever... he said he's playing his game but i feel like he's doing more. I just tried to watch tv until I fell asleep around 930 pm... with other thoughts running in my head... like what is he doing on his computer? <whenever i would try to peek, he would close the lid of his laptop and lately, he put a password in it so i couldn't get in, i asked why... he said with a loving smile... just to torment you... i just tried to laugh it out, thought it was funny though a part of me is shouting he doesn't trust me>and woke up almost midnight..

Basically, I needed advice on what to do to get my husband to talk to me more... have an open communication with the most important man in my life. We promised each other that even before we got married but i guess it's not happening. I feel like he's so far out there, like climbing a wall just to get to his thoughts...I believe he loves me.. and at first I thought and tried accepting maybe it's just his personality. But I need him to understand that I need that too... I need to connect with him to feel satisfaction out of this marriage. Am i asking too much? OUr communication is so poor. I want to try reaching out more and I just feel like im shut down. with other thoughts running in my head... like what is he doing on his computer? <whenever i would try to peek, he would close the lid of his laptop and lately, he put a password in it so i couldn't get in, i asked why... he said with a loving smile... just to torment you... i just tried to laugh it out, thought it was funny though a part of me is shouting he doesn't trust me.. again.. i just feel shut down and closed from his world. I don't care if he may be watching some nasty things on there... I understand the fact that man will be man... I understand privacy and I respect that a lot. What I don't understand is the way he acts when he tries to close his computer whenever I would want to take a peek. When he wakes up in the morning and looks at it and i come close, and i could almost see his windows, he would ask me to get him coffee or water or anything to get me out of the room and close his windows down... he would only say with a smile... just to torment you...

there.. i think at least i have let go of a third of my worst frustrations in this marriage.... i can go back to sleep now... still have to wake up at 5 to get to daily routine needs in the morning.....

Right... or better yet...

One active session in YM with one Yahoo ID account. Kung sino yung pinakalast na naglog-in yun yung may access. Though both can still be online sa internet, yung session lang sa YM yung napuputol when another one logs in using a different computer/device with same Yahoo ID.

Going back to the original topic, princessofearth, as soon as you log back sa YM or email mo, change mo na agad yung password and security questions for your email account.. para wala na siyang chance maunahan ka pa. If you can do it before her/him, and secure it properly, then you may not need to create another account and you can keep this one. Or puede ring maunahan ka niya and then she/he can take your identity. Naku... wag naman sana.

What i was trying to say was that, the owner and the hacker could not be online at the same time. If the owner is logged in and hacker logs in, the owner will automatically logs out from yahoo and vice versa.. Whoever logs in last will get the access.. you can log in to yahoo using any computer that has internet access but 2 people could not be able to log in using the same yahoo ID at the same time. smile.gif

-- On the contrary, puede ka pa rin mag log-in sa YM using another computer/celfone using the same account, what it will do is it will log-out the other active session from another computer or device. I'm pretty sure with that coz i do that all the time. Log in from my celfone, then it will log out from my computer. Or log in another computer, without logging out from previous sessions.

You can't really log in using the same yahoo ID in different computers at the same time so i was thinking how'd your friend chat with her husband while the other girl was using her yahoo ID at the same time? Even if you try to use meebo.com to sign in to yahoo, and in the other computer sign in using the actual messenger, it still wont work.

Working in the IT industry, just beware of having someone access to your personal email. nakakatakot yan. My advice is try to create another account and then change all your accounts tied to that email address, that the other person has gained access on. For example, bank accounts, friendster, myspace, and other internet accounts that have your previous email linked to it. You need to change it right away to another email na ikaw lang ang nakakaalam ng password. Be careful not to give out your password and make your security questions when creating the account a little bit hard to guess. And when creating password, you can put like characters in it too... For example, if you want lets say your password to be Ganda - probably you can change it to 6@nd@. Replace the letter a into a character that looks like an a, para mas strong i-decipher. mga ganun... tapos i really recommend you make it longer. at least 8 characters. Pag nagawa mo na ito, its just a matter of unahan mo yung person na yun to change the password while you still can. Kung ako, I will close that account already as soon as mapalitan ko na yung lahat ng bank accounts, friendster, etc, associated to that email address. reason for that is when changing the primary email, it may need some confirmation for some. And I will make it a priority!!! I will not wait another day to postpone it.

If you really want to find out who it is, for me i think it's not really worth it. You have to be careful though because this may be someone who is jealous of you or who knows you or maybe who is close to you.
