You can provide an invitation letter but it's not a requirement and it usually doesn't help much... how old na ba sister mo? again, still showing strong ties to Philippines is the best way to go for tourist visa.

How long they can stay in US while on tourist visa depends on the port of entry, clearing with immigrations.. Not sure if 6 months max they can stay, but they did get a round trip ticket with 6 months stay and that's what they got when they cleared... sometimes they also give 3 month stay.. etc..

I dont think its a requirement that they get a roundtrip ticket but i remember before some airlines ask what kind of visa you have and usually quotes a roundtrip for tourist, parang by default... so you need to specify with them if it's one way only.

Question lang po for future reference...

If parents got approved for a 10 year multiple entry visa, are they required to purchase a round trip ticket? Or is it OK to purchase a one way ticket only especially if they are not sure when they want to go back? Also, as tourist visa holders, what is the maximum number of days they can stay here in US, if there's such a thing?

Thanks!

as long as your parents show strong ties to the Philippines, and convinces the consul that she will come back... then she may have a chance.

Strong ties to Philippines doesn't always mean financial proof.
can be relational ties, for example, your brothers or sisters... tulad ni mama at papa, they were approved 10 yr visa though they weren't asked for any financial proof at all.

when they were asked why will you come back to Philippines...
my mother answered isa lang anak niya sa US, 4 sa Pinas pati mga apo... di niya pagpapalit yun.. purpose lang talaga is to visit kasi matanda na rin si Papa at gusto nya ring makarating ng tate...

... so basically its how you really convince the consul that they are there for their purpose and will return as expected of a tourist.

PhilippinesB1/B2 VISA ONLY 1 MONTH ALLOWED?
I think it would still be worth calling the POE to find out...

What about if there are unprecedented delays in flight? For whatever extreme scenarios, flight gets cancelled or whatever, can he go in and out of the airport if his stamp is only until Aug 9? Just thought it would be nice knowing that there is a cushion before the actual visa expires before your trip home. Just my thought..

PhilippinesWhy was her answer considered a 'gaffe'?
My husband and I watched Miss Universe last night and I was proud and hoped and knew that Miss Philippines will make it to the top 5. I think she has the best stance among the ones in top 5... not the prettiest but has someth'n to show.. Come question and answer... I was, I must admit, pretty sure she will come in last. I didn't even wait for the winners to be declared. I thought she had the advantage having heard the other contestants' answers - She could have done better. It seemed like she just plainly stammered when it came her turn...

Come on now people, Pinoys and Pinays out there must have been proud at some point, having her on top 5.. before she answered a Baldwin question...

I wonder what people will say of her if she would have won it...

Philippineshow to renew my passport
Thanks for the response. I am in TN. I reported my marriage and birth of our child to Washington DC. I am currently on ROC as well, will that have any effect? which form do i need to submit? meron akong nakita, ammendment of passport... but i can't find renewing passport.

try this site...www.philippineconsulatela.org this is in LA, but since you are in Texas, i guess covered kayo ng Chicago consulate since un ang pinakamalapit na consulate sa inyo. If you are K1, kelangan mong ireport and marriage mo para magamit mo ang married name mo. Pwede mong isabay ang pagreport ng iyong marriage sa pag renew ng pp mo, kelangan lang na complete ang mga papers mo para di masayang ang pagtravel mo at magamit mo ang married name mo.

My Philippine passport is expiring this January and I would like to renew it before it expires.. is there any link out there you could give me, I tried searching on the philippine embassy site but it said site in progress.. We may or may not come to the Philippines this year.

What did you put on the new passport, new last name? or same as the one you had. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

PhilippinesREPORT OF MARRIAGE & AMENDMENT
We are on the same boat.. I am also needing to renew my passport since it's expired already, still have the green one. I concur, masusungit nga... I even tried calling the Washington DC consulate, masungit talaga parang ayaw tumulong. Dahil siguro nagtagalog ako asking my questions sa umpisa tapos yung sagot nila in English.. parang disgusted, lagyan ko pa nga ng punto tapos "twang" ng english, natahimik. anyway... But i was told that in renewing the passport, you have to report the marriage first.

To OP, you don't need to report your marriage in CA consulate. Sa Washington DC consulate is fine. It doesn't have to be where you were actually married.

Hello mga mommies... been awhile since i last visited vj...

pano naman kasi... i hatched na... hehehehe... it was early and it ended up CS... last Monday July 6, though we had a hard time picking out a name... finally PRESTON JAMES is here!

I would just like to share my experience... hay naku... July 4th pa lang i was already non stop contracting. Hay talaga, nafeel ko yung uncomfy feeling na parang manganganak na ako anytime but then again i was thinking baka false labor na naman... my contractions never stopped until finally July 6, we decided to go to the hospital... so yun nga we arrived there around 7 am. i was contracting continuously within 5 mins interval since the 4th... i was only 2.5 cm dilated... i was put on IV baka raw dehydrated lang ako... still not stopping contractions, and then they gave me my third pack of IV, still my contractions never stopped, but my dilation, never improved. Then finally they gave me options to either come back at a later time and have a natural labor or stay and they will intervene, meaning they will break my water to make the contractions strong enough and baby's head would come down further and make me dilate... but the last option, no turning back na... I asked my aunt nurse, and she said go for the latter one, anyway, baby will be safe. I was scared kasi i didn't want to have CS and that's another caution the doctor gave us if i choose the last one. I finally decided to do the latter, since anyway, my contractions are not stopping and soon i would have to go through the labor process anyway, why would i have to prolong it. My case was just a matter of not improving my dilation, ayaw lang talaga bumukas ng cervix ko, so the case is di makakalabas si baby naturally. anyway, noon time dr came and broke my water... after 2 hours, i dilated only to 4 cm... they tried increasing the medication for making the contractions stronger, by that time it was so painful, yun na yung part na you will cuss your husbands (but i never did, actually happy ako kasi my husband was there all the time and helping me breathe while on labor), i opted for epidural and ohhhh... it was heaven to me... i was sleeping thru my labor prolly from exhaustion. Some blooper though, after the dr broke my water, and they put pads on my bed, i thought i was peeing that i couldn't control... told my husband OMG, call the nurse, coz im gonna pee, and i couldn't control it and i felt that it just trickled... ok, never mind i peed already. I was so embarassed that i thought i peed my bed. When the nurse came in, she said that it was still part of my water. So mga mommies, wag magtaka if after your water broke, there's still more to come when you're in labor. By 5 pm, still my dilation never improved, stuck on 4 cm. My contractions are really strong by then, i couldn't feel it much becoz of the epidural but baby is getting stressed out already, so the dr finally decided to have a cs, for baby's safety. So at 6:30, he was born. Sa loob pa lang ng tummy, only head pa lang nakalabas, baby is already crying.. he's a healthy baby boy. Thank God.

Now, i'm still recovering from the surgery. Mejo masakit pa yung incision ko but it will get better. I got discharged last Th and baby had first dr's visit yesterday, Saturday. In the afternoon, we had baby shower. It was alot to take in but everything is doing ok. My husband is really there for me.

speaking of breastfeed.. hay naku mga sister, ni wala pa akong kagatas gatas... ni hindi nga ata lumaki yung B00bs ko... hahaha...how disappointing... biggrin.gif i was hoping high pa naman about it, hahaha... <husband ko rin> still in high hopes... when kaya magkakacolostrum dede ko?..

syanga pala... update... sabi ng dr ko today, im dilating na raw... 1.5cm. naku malapit na talaga labor day! kakatakot... sige... kaya yan.

kami rin ng asawa ko, mga second hand lang... my husband is really frugal. Abang abang kami sa craiglist for the furnitures and we also had been to alot of baby stores. It paid off naman, kahapon we went to see the furnitures na nasa posting within our area, $300 both for convertible crib and dresser/changing table combo... tapos parang bago pa yung condition. Hardwood and really sturdy. I really liked it. Sabi nung may-ari they purchased it brand new sa babiesrus for more than a grand total... oh di ba? tipid talaga. magagamit pa ni baby until lumaki siya, even convertible into a full size bed.. we will pick it up on friday kasi i-didismantle pa nung owners.

Just want to share...

I still feel blessed and thankful kasi ok si baby ko after the accident last Thursday. I fell flat on my tummy, hit the gravel ground tummy first last thursday while walking the dog for the last time before going to work. My baby Frosty saw something that he chased while i was holding the leash and he dragged me to the ground. Ended up in the hospital for more than 24 hours. After ultrasound showed that everything is normal, as far as they can see, they have finally decided to discharge me though i'm still having continuous contractions. Now, after the fall, i still feel bad contractions... I feel that it's not the same as before I was feeling before the accident. I know contractions are normal esp the last trimester, but i think the accident triggered more contractions for me now.

ang sakit mga lola... I just want to share this because I want all mommies to take precautionary measures. I don't want this to happen to any of you. I know dito sa US, wala naman tayong maasahan as far as the things we need to get done is concerned <chores>, at as much as we would like to take care of it all, now that we are pregnant we need to insist and get our husbands to do the physical work for us, that are safe both to us and our baby.

As for my case i had brown discharge. That's why I didn't realize i was pregnant until i was two months in it because of that brown discharge I had. I thought i was menstruating. But so far im on 34 weeks now and everything is normal. There were occassional brown discharge esp on my first trimester but all my labs were ok and the doctor didn't find anything with it. As far as i remember the doctor called it palip? sounds like that. I didn't ask for the spelling.. She said some women have that.. sa pagkakaintindi ko, its kinda like a tissue growth in your pipi that may cause the bleeding, eventually discharged as brown but its nothing to worry about. So ok na lang ako. But again, i don't have any complications now as far as the pregnancy is concerned....

Ay ganun ba sistah mga 5 months mo na feel na gumalaw si baby, nabasa ko kasi starting 14 weeks daw eh nagalaw na...eh 17 weeks nako pero di ko na feel kaya medyo nagtataka ako. Meron exercise para di ka mapa ihi..nong nag attend ako ng pregnancy class tinuro nila....press tight your "thing" at least 20 seconds 50x a day. Yon yong tinuro. Sometimes I do that pero nakakalimutan ko hehehe...asawa ko taga remind sakin biggrin.gif

kegel exercise ba? hehehe.. yeah it really helps.. sabi nila when you do kegels, mas ok in preparation for labor.. also they say it helps to avoid hemorrhoids din... ako rin di masyado diligent with kegels... hahaha

Kasi pag nakatihaya daw nandon sa back natin yong vessel na nagsusuply ng oxygen sa baby. Pag nakatihaya naiipit daw yon..kaya ang sabi nila the most safe sleeping position ay sa left or right side smile.gif Syempre pag padapa naman di naiipit yong tummy hehehhe smile.gif

Evelyn

actually recommended to lay down on your left side better than the right side... kasi there's a vein on our right side (vena cava) that takes the blood circulation from the heart to the lower part of your body, like your legs.. and also to the baby. Pag sa right, di masyado makakacirculate yung blood. Yun din daw yung reason why you get cramps at night. Pag on your back naman, it will put pressure on your back and spine esp pag malaki na si baby. I suggest, body pillow... talagang it helps. lalo na pag malaki yung tummy like me... hahah

Evelyn sister, i would suggest you take more fluids during daytime, and then just limit your liquid intake before going to bed... para di ka ihi nang ihi at bangon nang bangon at night -sleep is very important for recharging. I have to discover that the hard way kasi i work and i couldn't afford to get good night's sleep kaya nagresearch ako nang todo what's the best thing to do. so ito nga yung ginawa kong solution to resolve it and it works well for me. At first when i don't get good night's sleep tapos pregnant pa ako, i really get exhausted.

Hello ulit mga mommies...

Yung heartburn yung feeling parang dighay ka ng dighay <tama ba yung word ko?>.. or like if you have gas. nung nasa pinas ako, nafifeel ko lang yun after ko uminom ng softdrinks. pero dito sa US, kahit ano kainin mo, gaganun ka talaga. Madalas kasi pagkain dito mga frozen and then daming growth hormones. Eh sa atin, fresh, minsan nga kakatayin pa yung manok only a few hours before lutuin. kaya siguro walang mga ganun masyado. Yung heartburn, lam mo yung feeling na bumabalik yung pagkain mo or back to your throat, di yung buong pagkain pero yung acid sa tiyan lang so as a result, yung throat mo gets irritated because of the acid. yun yun... ako nung una the way i described it to my husband, kasi di ko alam heartburn pala tawag dun dito, i mean nakikita ko yung mga commercials sa tv (like tums or rollaid), pero di ko naman alam...<hahahaha ignorante> so tinawagan ko yung tita ko na nurse and sabi niya heartburn nga raw yun... so she said i can take like antacid. anyway, sabi ko... i feel like my throat is burned, like it feels so good drinking water coz it kinda cools it down and then it's kinda like until the chest part... anyway, two months into it, syemps yoko nga inom agad ng gamot pag may nararamdaman, but eventually i thought it wasn't normal and it's also hard talking, kasi irritated throat, so i consulted with my doctor tapos sabi niya heartburn daw at hayun nga nawala ang symptom ng lola niyo... yung zantac gumana sa akin. 2 in the morning and twice at night.

yung sa fish naman... hindi naman talaga bawal kumain ng fish... yun lang mga fish na high in mercury like salmon and tuna and mga canned goods din, kasi madami chemicals that you can pass to baby. yung mercury is really toxic and bad for preggy moms. Also yung mga raw fish/meat, like in sushi.

yung caffeine, a cup a day of coffee ako... dunkin donuts coffee is good... but you can also have more, only choose the decaf one.. pero minsan pag may craving ako ng softdrink, i just buy sprite, para no caffeine... or may diet coke din na no caffeine.

sabi ng nanay ko pag may mga cravings cravings o kaya sakit sakit ng katawan lang... wag masyadong mag-give in agad. para di masyado maselan ang pagbubuntis....

heheheh... di ko know about dun sa bawal magpagupit pag buntis... pero nagpagupit naman ako last march! my baby and i are healthy!!!

i know sabi nila... when you carry low (whatever that means or looks like), its a boy... amazing kasi most mommies dito can guess what my baby is just by looking at my tummy... so i guess it's true...

ito yung weird, na only in the US i heard... sabi nila when you have heartburn all the time, mabuhok daw yung baby... heheheh... biruin mo?! si baby ko mabuhok!!!

Congrats to us all who are pregnant!

Now in my 28 weeks going 29 weeks on Friday. I don't have any pains nor difficulties with my pregnancy... well except for minor morning sickness at the first trimester which wasn't too bad. Right now, really bad heartburn but just last week, my doctor already gave me a medicine that really works for me... Zantac, twice in the morning and twice at night. I can't believe I have put up with heartburn for the last 2 months!!! I've never really had any heartburn while i was in Pinas... Also i am just noticing rashes coming up only on my arms... and from time to time on my belly. I don't wanna scratch it, as i don't want to leave marks. It looks kinda like small insect bites, weird, it only appears on the arms.. I have read that for some mommies-to-be, it is normal to have it though not usual for all moms. I would have to ask my doctor what i could take for that... but as much as possible, I don't want to take medicines for every pain or discomfort i feel, lest might be bad for my baby... afraid of side effects. So i just wash it with warm water and soap to make it feel better. Lately too, having occassional back pain, and cramps while sleeping... have to eat lots of bananas... discomfort while sleeping but my husband bought me body pillows and we couldn't find pregnancy pillows which really helps. I didn't really ask for it but i thought it was really sweet. My husband said that I am very moody though, i don't feel that way though... Overall, I feel great with my pregnancy. I am still working, sometimes i forget that I am pregnant... except that it's very obvious because my tummy is really big... huge!... hehehe... From the last ultrasound that I had, they said the baby is 25% bigger than normal!... I've always received comments like "you're not thinking about natural birth are you?" or "ohhh... you're so small, you're all tummy", or "ohhh... i didn't know you were pregnant until now"- this is because i only started showing when i was in my 4-5 months... 5 months definitely my belly just went big... it's like an overnight thing. That's why we also didn't know that I was pregnant until i was 8 weeks as i had bleeding, i thought was still menstruating on the first two months, but it went away after a few months.

Right now... i am still working and no problems at all...

Ohhhh... we haven't come up with a baby's name though... I am really not very good with naming.... heheheh

What will you have? I am having a baby boy!!! our very first!!!....

Cranberry juice is really good for cleaning your system esp with UTI.... also pomegranate juice. hmmm....

I used to like drinking it but since pregnant, i don't know... because i've really been having bad heartburn... and i feel like it worsens it when i drink it. What they say here in US, when you have a lot of heartburn while pregnant, that the baby is hairy... hehehehe...

Evelyn[/quote]

I had a bad UTI 5 years ago and I was afraid that it might came back while being pregnant but every prenatal visit I have my OB always monitor my urine and everything is perfectly fine. I just had to make sure to empty my bladder right away if I feel the urge to pee and drinking plenty of water helps to cleanse your system.

My blood pressure is normal too but as the baby grows older inside of you he/she absorbs more calcium and iron from your body so you need an extra supplement.

hello everyone...

hehehe... i would just like to inquire... for those people who got here in US and got pregnant within a year after arrival...

now that i will be having a baby in two month's time, my husband's coworker's wife has been gracious enough to want to organize a baby shower for my baby. She's been asking me for list of people I want to invite for my baby shower. The problem is... I don't have anyone that I'm really close to here to invite.. I am working now but my coworkers are really not that close. you know.. and i feel shy asking them to come to my baby shower really because we are not really that tight... any suggestions?

is it ok for me to invite people from work though the relationship at work its really more of a work-related acquaintance? what do you think?

PhilippinesPolice clearance
You usually have to get Police clearance in the Philippines from city hall / municipal hall. It's not hard to do. Just go to closest city/municipal hall where your fiance is. I got mine from Quezon City hall as i live in QC. Will only take a few mins of filling up forms and picture and paying the fee. Not big of a hassle. I hope this helps.. kicking.gif

Hello everyone!!! I was wondering if anyone knew the procedure on getting a police clearance? My fiance lives in the Philippines and we wanted to know if she should go to the U.S. Embassy there and get her police clearance. We filed for a K1/ I129F on Nov. 19 2007. We want to have everything in order so when these things are needed we can have them taken care of. Here it is Feb 2 2008 and our paperwork hasn't even been touched. Anyone with some insite on this we could use the advise. Thankyou to all, and God Bless! Glenn and Cathy

PhilippinesCebu Pacific Air
Cebu pacific site is not working online lately..Problems with booking online. I cannot book a flight online as well, I had to go to their booking office. Will be best to just have your fiancee do it.. will be cheaper too.

I just tried to purchase tickets online and their site said it could not process my order try another card. It did this for all 3 of my credit cards.
I am trying to purchase tickets for Charry and her friend Joy so they can goto Manila for the interview next month.

I tried calling their phone number but got stuck in an endless loop of music and adverts waiting for someone to answer.
Does anyone know if they are open 24/7? Because there is no time listed on the site and the phone didnt say there was noone there to answer.

PhilippinesQuestion on DS-156
you may want to check the sample forms here in vj... biggrin.gif

QUOTE (MariEnMichelle @ Feb 1 2008, 11:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi Guys,

Need your help on filling out form DS-156 specially questions 26, 27 and 32.

Question 26 asks you "How long do you intend to stay in the U.S.?" - How did you answer this? I mean we intend to live there until probably forever right and be with our love ones?

Question 27 asks "What is the purpose of your trip?" - What did you put in there?

Question 32 asks you "Do you intend to work in the U.S.?" - The answer for me would be YES but i still do not know where will i work there? Is is ok just to put "NONE" and answer YES?

Thanks again for all the help!

You have to have presence of mind on the last interview before they release the results. Sometimes they ask tricky questions. If you are unsure of the question, you can ask them again and make sure you understand each other or you are on the same page.

Haha, I remember when the guy asked me "where is the scar.." I didn't let him finished the question and just pointed my nose (my scar from chicken pox). He laughed and repeat the question that he is asking for the scar I got from BCG vaccine. So by the time he's aking the chicken pox scar he answerd it for me that it's on my nose.

And relax and manage to smile even if the doctor is not so nice.

This one really helps. Just answered her questions with smile.

For those who are having their medical, pls avoid going to SLEC on Mondays and Fridays, someone told me that great number of people come in those days compared to Tuesdays-Thurs. When I had my medical, it was wednesday and thursday, I spent 1 hr and 30 mins on my 2nd day at SLEC (that includes vaccination and releasing). smile.gif

Congrats Acel! smile.gif

PhilippinesMedical Experience
I took my medical thursaday, jan31, 2008 and got results yesterday.. I would just like to share my medical experience at SLEC

I decided to take early medical.. I'm scheduled Feb 25th but decided to take it as early as possible. I thought it would be to my advantage to take early medical so at least i'll get it over with (also means i'll be one step more to being with my sweetheart!!! wink.gif ) . They will allow you to have early medical as long as you have the original appointment letter.

These are the things you have to have with you:
1) APPOINTMENT LETTER ( photocopies of the appointment letter too)
2) PASSPORT ( if it would help, i also had my passport photocopied anyway... )
3) PHOTOS ( they say 2 photos but bring more!! I advise about 4 ) , you need to put your name at the back...
4) PEN ( ballpen preferably not sign pens )
5) FEE ( i paid about PHP5945 )
6) others: they may ask you for old film of xray more than 3 months ago to compare results with

FIRST DAY

My sked was suppose to be at 7:30 but i left early and got there before 7. THere are already lots of people by then but not too crowded compared to around 9am..

approached the guard, who is always nice. Greeted him good morning and with smile usually helps alot..

Guard will ask for appointment letter and will mark it but will also ask for the photocopy, (keep your original appointment in safe place after guard gets the photocopy. You will use it at the embassy interview) will give you the Personal Data Sheet (PDS) that you have to fill out inside.. Make sure before you get in, Manong guard puts a mark on your hand so you can go out anytime in case you may get hungry and not being asked or reprimanded by the other guards. Manong guard will also give you a guide, it really helped me alot and kept it handy, made everything smooth..

A few tips: if you have any relatives abroad, you NEED to have the complete name, address and contact information for them too as it's required on the PDS or they may ask you to fill that out anyway on the second day if you fail to fill it in. and all other information you failed to provide. Also the address of your fiance and contact information. I actually managed to memorize my passport no and the case no so it came in handy while filling out the forms. BTW, its also best if you will get all your documents in a see through folder so it will be easy to pull it out esp in the crowd.

After cashier checks your PDS, you will be asked to pay the fee.. (on the guide, it will give you respective floors ). After paying the bills, you may go through the medical procedure.. Mine is xray first, then blood, urine, vital signs (heartbeart, pulse, BP, height, weight, etc), eyesight..Immunization interview : they ask you if you already had chicken pox and you have to show marks for it, also same with the CFG mark or keloid ( bakuna which is usually on the right/left upper arm) I had difficulty with mine since i didnt have a keloid from it...which usually happens when it was taken when you were just a baby. I also asked my mama what all are the immunization i was given when i was a child. It willl come handy on the interview.. Then you have the physical exam, in which they will check everything... ask you to take off everything.. breast, history of sickness.. if you were hospitalized, stuff like that.. (just answer as honestly as possible as they will know if you are saying the truth or not). And relax and manage to smile even if the doctor is not so nice.

then all is done..

you will be asked to get an appointment date for the results along with the receipt that you paid for.
DAY 1 is so easy and i was done by 10:30 am

NEXT DAY! painstaking waiting for me though... My second day didn't go that well..

Things to bring on 2nd day:
1) appointment letter from yesterday
2) passport
3) pics 2x2
4) pen

My schedule was 9am.. I thought coming in early will be of help.. I came in at 8:30 am, showed my appointment sked to the guard. Guard will check if your records are ok or not. If ok, if you agreed to take your immunization in Philippines, (coz you have an option to just take it in US), then you will proceed with immunization and just wait for the results at counter A-F. Painstaking waiting for your name to be called.

As for my case, my records are not in yet.. I was thinking either i came in too early that my records are not yet completed or my records were not just finished yet.. I got there at 8:30am, have to proceed to counter A.
After 2 hours... nothing yet... mad.gif crying.gif helpsmilie.gif I usually ask around from the staff there but they wouldn't really entertain any questions and would only inform you to wait for your turn. You will understand as you can see everyone doing their job and trying to serve as many people as possible. Patience here is actually needed. Good thing my sweetheart also called me when i asked him to, just for moral support. Since you couldn't approach any one for any answers, I managed to run after the other staff on the way to his lunch. So i told him that I've been waiting for my turn since more than 4 hours ago and would just like to ask if that's normal for that to happen. He said that he really doesn't know but said not to worry as if i get immunized for that day, i most probably will get the results the same day. I got some relief on that and went back to my seat and just a few mins after, my name was called. I had to wait until past 130pm before my name was called for the first time ---> immunization.. Before that it was really boring... may have to bring a book with you or something to do like ipod maybe or something you can do while waiting. I had my immunization by 1:40pm already.. The nurse was kinda perky when i had my shot.. Reminded me not to get pregnant within a month after the vaccine. hehehe... Then asked me to wait back to counter A-F for my name to be called again.. that means continuous waiting. My butt is aching from sitting already. Good to have my snacks with me. I finally got my final interview and results by 4 pm.. You have to have presence of mind on the last interview before they release the results. Sometimes they ask tricky questions. If you are unsure of the question, you can ask them again and make sure you understand each other or you are on the same page.

They took my passport and informed me that they will be the one to forward it to the embassy. gave me my xray film and had me sign all the paperwork that needs to be signed. They make us use the signature you had on the passport always.. So if you happen to have more than one signature, use the one on the passport. You may also ask the final interviewer if it means you are good with medical. Usually they say as the case may be, if you are immunized that means, your medical is ok. good.gif Got this from one of the friendly staff there, actually was my lucky charm. I went home exhausted and a bit fever from the vaccine. But Im really glad that it's done and over with..

Good luck to you all... Good luck to us for the interview.
