Whats this lines mean?   On February 21, 2014, your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was terminated because you acquired status or the benefit being sought through other means.  No further action will be taken on this case. Calm...breathe...call.  I think the same...somehow someway, maybe because of your request...they thought theyd close it out at uscis and make your 130 go faster?  I think your 130 is fine and will be transferred really soon now. They told me that sometime expedite request takes long time.  And I think they won't transfer my case. They will approve my case at NBC. tell them that's an OXYMORON!!!  expedite/take a long time....yea...that makes no sense. oh they boil my blood.  Maybe they will approve you from NBC. and with all the transfers maybe that will be lucky for you! They saw movement with my case but they are checking my back ground and they don't know how long it will take to get approve my case.  I wish I did not file a expedite request. All this waiting happened because of that. So I am going to be a last person standing for August month. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Nope.   Divorced and remarried the same petitioner and approved in 1 month and 1 week. India is high risk   DR is high risk too...ugh...and I didn't get my approval yet..sooo worried...I had no clue India was high risk   Just cause that is how the USCIS rolls........don't let it bother you.  It happened to all of us.  I got 5 text and 3 emails when I got my transfer.  The transfer date changed from 3rd the 5th on one of the emails and then got the "your petition has been transferred to your local office".  I means nothing.   Just wait for the hard copy in the mail.  It will tell you the Service Center it was transferred to.  I got my approval a week after my transfer.  So no worries, be happy.  The ball is rolling now! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	It takes 1.5 months for the magical elves at NVC to give you a CASE NUMBER and a INVOICE ID  ( I promise to not use any more fairy tale references ) You could be done sooner.   YOU are supposed to start calling two times a week after TWO WEEKS after your approval. Proactive is the keyword with them.   you know darn well you will use "elves" again...im waiting for it..and calling you on it! hahahahahah Good morning to all my dear friends.   Not morning anymore...but did you get anywhere today? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	i got transferred today ....wondering where ? most of us have been going to csc....a choice few went to texas..you'll know within a week or so   on the speadsheet- the column labeled NOA2- is that be interpreted when the hard copy of the transfer is recieved telling them which USCIS office the file was transferred to..  OR   is it when USCIS has approved the application and transferred it to the NVC for processing--   I think some clarifications are needed becasue many people are saying they got NOA@ 8 and 10 days after transfer- IF that is NOA@ moving it to the NVC that is really something- but I suspect that is not the case and would like somone to elaborate on what that NOA2 SHOULD be. that's sooooo the happy case...quick noa2's!!  Still waiting for my noa2  ..but happy I got my transfer. I just really pray now that we all get quick CSC approvals and can move on with this process.....   .... Strange I didn't get an e-mail, it was only because I checked on-line I didn't get my email and text until 10;30 at night...so maybe you still will..not that it matters lmfao   same here! I didn't get an email either and I only found out because I checked the website      we won't know where the case is at until we get the paper notice right?   correct...praying for csc for all of you guys when do we find out where our cases got transferred ?      and does it matter where you live? or do they transfer them in blocks?  for example, do they transfer cases from California to California and Texas to Texas ?     when you get the hard copy in the mail..mine only took a few days..and I live in CT and mine went to Cali...so...It doesn't matter where you live. 'splain this to me...does this mean 7 months total..from time you filed...or 7 months JUST in the hands of CSC??   This always confused me but I never asked. Last nights email:   On February 6, 2014, we transferred this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions provided on the notice.  We will notify you by mail when a decision is made.  If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.   Today's email: On February 7, 2014, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to  your local USCIS Office for further processing.  The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed.  If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.   Oh...and my 130 says the same for both days also.  Why do they even bother with the million emails lol   Well..at least im going along as everyone else unlike before lol	Lisa y Miguel	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-02-07 13:33:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Have you tried asking in the forum here: http://www.visajourn...-visitor-visas/?     I believe everyone gets transferred out of NBC.  And be sure to start preparing proof that you will have 'domicile' in the US.  Just type in 'domicile' in the search box above, and you'll get plenty of threads to read.       Happy days for all the transfers, especially for you Lisa!  Did you have to transfer hospitals too? lol   Actually last night I was so damn upset I barely got the chance to fully enjoy my good news.  My doctor is "transferring" me COMPLETELY over to high risk docs. Which means MY doctor wont' deliver my baby, and I cant deliver my baby in MY hospital...I cried for hours..so much that I didn't even see the text right away.  Im still very sad and i'll be begging the doctor later to give me one more week to try and get in the clear after all these new meds hes putting me on before he transfers me.   So last night..that word transfer was SO bad before it was good unfortunately! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	so when/how do we find out where we went?  The last email or the hardcopy?  Im not calling...the hospital service is horrible, i'll just get disconnected a million times   ok..here's MY tax question....according to my income tax, I support my TWO girls...one because I do, the other, because she's a full time student so they consider her a dependant.  But I really don't support her max...she works, files her own taxes also etc.  so she counts?  I make about 27000 AGI  ...im sure im gonna have to find someone to file the 864(?) for me...id rather not but Im pretty sure I will.  This is going to overwhelm me...should him OR me start doing anything now or later? A whole bunch late last night.   hi, i was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this- i am filing taxes for the first time as a married USC but hubsters in Scotland and has no social security- do i even say i am married on the form? it is asking for his SS when i say i am married. mmm        Yes, you need to file as married. You can get him a tax ID number (ITIN) if you want to file jointly, but that process is kind of a beast. Easiest way to go is "married filing separately" -- you'll need to print your return and put "NRA" in the spouse's SSN field to indicate he's a non-resident alien. You have to physically mail in your return if you go this route.    Also worth noting, if you have dependents you may be eligible to file under Head of Household. I just filed and my options were Head of household ( I have kids here) Married separate or married jointly..i didn't get into the married ones, I automatically went with head of household as I know that would get me more money and I didn't want the difficulty of figuring it out married becase I need the money from being in this hospital instead of working.  I was very glad I did head of household cuz I was scared too lol  good luck	Lisa y Miguel	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-02-07 10:05:00
