IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	this is confusing... they are saying your petition hasn't been approved yet but it has been sent to NVC (DOS)? yes...im so aggravated. And pregnant and aggravated do NOT mix!  The only thing I've ever received was the 797C notice of action for both my petitions!!  And she was acting like i was so dumb and didnt know what i was talking about...explaining to me the order in which things occur.  Telling me as soon as I receive the notice of action, its out of their hands and to DOS! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	I called USCIS today to try to get info on my case since I've heard nothing.  She said my case was not there, that once I received the Notice of Action (797-C), that it was no longer in their hands and would be in the hands of DOS.  This contradicts ANYTHING I've ever heard or read.  She also stated that I can't call DOS. That it's not allowed unless I have info that regards the case such as an address change etc.  Im trying to find out how to request to expedite my case and I feel like I just took 500 steps backwards.  Can I call DOS? Should I call DOS?  Is my case really even there??  I received my notice of action for my 130 in august and my notice of action for my 129f in august also.  And according to this woman, as soon as that happened it went straight to DOS?  UGH im so confused and frustrated....help  I realize i've posted this in two different areas but thought maybe i can get more help here.  Maybe....maybe not. I'm also an august 130 filer. .but then quickly became an august 129 filer when I discovered I was pregnant. I'm hearing 129 is going a little quicker these days...I know someone that got their noa2 4 months after filing. Just curious if anyone has heard anything of the sort. Lol....I hate the wait but I'm glad to see we all have some support that are in the same boat! I got my message about the alien registration number on sept 3rd. About a week after my noa1 for the i129f... and about 3weeks after my noa1 for my i130. I'm two months pregnant so I'm praying for ASAP in my heart! Pregnancies even C-sec or high risks R never granted expedites  USCIS states if so they have to grant all pregnant ppl the same right. and pregnancies are a normal thing in life even with risks.   Any form of expedites has to have strong proofs and even in medical situations ppl have been turned down Ive heard of plenty...on this site alone amongst others. But like I said...free..no risk. And the pregnancy is not the only reason I am giving. Also financial on his end and mine. Im wondering the same thing.  I have paperwork coming for a request to expedite.  I called and spoke to Tier 2.  I need him to come here and be employed while I am on maternity leave or I will have no income.  My pregnancy is quite high risk.  Also, the fact that people can't mind their own business and are telling his boss that he is married to a USC.  That doesn't fly very well over there, plenty have gotten fired for the same reason.   So we're just counting the days before that happens, then he has nothing.  I have plenty of money while I work, and hopefully enough to save for leave...but I def can't support him and his house also if he does get fired.  This whole thing pretty much sucks, and good chances are the request will be denied, but like everyone said, it doesn't hurt to try, it doesn't cost a penny....so heck yes...I say do it. HELP! i received a rfe req docs showing a bona fide marriage.. we got married in Honduras in july 2012, i had our daughter in July 2011, i sent the birth certificate. since my husband is in Honduras, nothing here has his name on it. I put money on his phone by Claro, i used to get a confirmation by text but they no longer do that. I printed my plane trips from my acct at Delta to show i have flown there. But I'm not sure what else to send.. any suggestions. Pictures of you and him....from your wedding and others.  Letters from friends and or family members verifying your relationship...and i hope you have already sent your marraige cert? So should I just sit and wait !!! Or what do you recommend ??? I was thinking just to wait until the end of the month and start calling them but I don't find any excuse to keep calling them !!! Everything has been a week or less. I dont know what columns you have on the sheet but it was Received: 3/4 Email to pay AOS etc: 3/7 (found the email and paid aos fee on 3/14) Now today 3/21 permission to pay IV fee. not that we have the money yet...but its available to pay. So...soon I will send my aos packet when I get all the joint sponsors info. And then we shall see about the IV fee and next packet. Ufff...what a disaster. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Hi! please can somebody tell me is there any other way to know if my case is approved other than the hardcopy? i mean do they also let you know by email or something? :/    NOA1: AUG 13 TRANSFERRED: FEB. 07 LAST TRANSFER EMAIL FEB 11   You'll get a hardcopy.  I was transferred on the 7th and approved on the 20th...got my hardcopy about a week ago I think.  everything will come in order soon for you   I just requested to join the facebook group!   I think the reason I find the NVC group confusing is that there are so many different procedures by country and all the links need to be updated with the new info/forms so that is confusing as well!     Couldn't agree more!    Duhh lol :-P The best is the extortion - I mean final fee - to get your green card! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Do you own your own house Lisa?  Or have assets you can use?  I thought I was going to have to use a co-sponsor because my income fell below the poverty guidelines but I read that if I take the value of my house, subtract what is left on the mortgage, divide that by 3, and add the result to my income, it puts me well above the poverty guideline.   Anyone, if I misunderstood this or I am incorrect, please correct me! I do but im a co owner with my dad...and if he has to be involved forget it. We're barely speaking. And my car is my only car...I know you need two if you use your car So sorry Izzy...but like I said, it was something silly. Dont fret. ..it will be quick! ! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	I believe it!  Does anyone know what the processing time is?  I've seen TSC take up to 60 days then issue an RFE to buy themselves more time.  If that happens to me, I'm going to take a few days off work just to spend the entire day calling them hahaha!! My college roommate grew up in Ansonia and stayed there all the way through finishing a master's degree, then moved up to MA for a job offer. There's definitely not much down there, although New Haven is close... whether that's good or bad varies depending on who's asked, heh!    I hope they can make some accommodations for you at interview time, stay safe and healthy hahaha..for real!  New Haven is decent for things to do...but like you said, matter of opinion and of who MIGHT be getting shot that night lol....Ansonia is such a little dud in the Valley I just found that SO funny!  I hope they do something, I know they try to get pregnant women and women with little babies out sooner...but we'll see....still don't wanna go lmfao   hey Lisa, did they tell you if your papers at least made it there by now? we got approved on 2/19, but i figured to wait 2 weeks before i start annoying ppl  lol All she said was I wasn't in the system and asked when I was approved..since it was only the 20th I knew I wouldn't get much lol     I sure hope you are not seriously planning to travel with a newborn on your arm?.On the other hand, think of the party DP family will throw for you and babe when you get there.   At that point he'd be close to 2 months as I said because I have to wait for his passport birth certificate etc..but yes, betcher bottom dollar I will travel with him to have his father not miss anymore of his life.  This is his first child and will be his last as Ive had so many issues im getting my tubes tied.  We planned on having one more, but this one did a number on me.  His missing everything, and I wont let him miss anymore than he needs to because of this nonsense. Plus yes, it would be the only time for a while that we'd be able to afford to go back and have his mom (who's in her 70's) see her grandson and the rest of the family also.  And YES, in DR it will definitely be a fiesta lol   OK folks.....just so you have an idea of how fast some of the petitions are moving, this is what has happen for me this month:   Feb 5th - Transferred to CSC Feb 11th - Petition Approved Feb 20th - NVC received my case file   Called NVC today and spoke to Todd.  He said to call again 20-30 days from receipt for IIN       I have been reading and reading  and reading post and flow charts regarding forms and evidence to send to NVC.   Trying to get everything ready but there are just some things that still are confusing to me.  Everyone else seems to have a good grip on what to expect and to do......starting to feel like an idiot !!!   Love how they said 20-30 days  to you and 8 weeks to me...too funny lol     I understand my friend. but I think this is just for a small group of August fillers. and we all feel like a home here. NVC is confusing for everyone. We also provide all threads to Saylin. People needs faith and blessing in visa journey that's what they can give each other in small group. In NVC, people just ask question for next steps. Some people are left after thy received noa2.   I am sorry if I broke any Admin rules here. I have a friend who grew up there. You'll definitely get a break from the heat in New England... most of the time He would be the best proof...but I have PLENTY of Ultrasound pics! hahaha I also have about 5 doctors telling me I can't fly and they will write ANY letter I need to say so.    Way too high risk before birth...and like I said, after it will take weeks for the passport...whole thing is just annoying.   Ansonia, CT??????  You seriously know someone from my little tiny town?  That's SOOOO crazy....Ansonia, CT population like 500.  No im joking, but honestly, very small town.  I grew up here also.  And by the time they schedule an interview it'll be warm here and even HOTTER THERE...oh that place...AND THE MOSQUITOS....have mercy! CSC should be more in the neighborhood of a couple of weeks. Good luck! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Thanks Lisa, I was seeing your timeline so I can have a little hope plus some girls in a latin foro told me that I should see your timeline because you had a k3 petition too, you are famous in the latin foros too hahaha..for one thing there's always hope chica!  lol I had no clue I was famous, never been in that forum...    i'll have to check it out lol   What kind of evidence have you been gathering up?    My i130 has not been approved yet but I am trying to gather some of the stuff needed too in hope that needed documents don't hold me back    I have birth certificates, marriage certificate , my tax transcripts , what else ?      I haven't, that's why I asked if there was a list anywhere..but I already sent all those things with my 130...my bc and mc etc...I obviously have and will have brought them if needed if I end up going to the interview....but I do still need my tax papers and stuff for the AOS ...however I don't think I am eligible unfortunately ugh..so frustrating   Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was transfered!!!!!!! Just finished to talk with my husband and I see my case and boom....... However only one I can answer is.. other than gatheting all the evidence you require for the AOS and IV packages.. There isn't anything you can do other than wait for the case number. As for the PCCs. . Find out when they will expire. If they are good for 3 months and up.. i think you should go ahead and order them..   ok ...is there a list somewhere of the evidence for those....im so...ughhhh...just ughhh lol  Thank you tho   Lots on your plate, I'm sorry to hear all this As far as what to do while waiting for a case number, I would recommend assembling all paperwork ASAP except the police certificate, you can afford to wait a month or so after NOA2 before getting that one (assuming the cert is valid for 6 months, I'm not sure what the case is for DR). It'll be ~2 months from NOA2 to case number, and a few more weeks before DS-261 is accepted and IV fee invoiced, so there's no sense rushing right out for a time-sensitive document. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	Awesomeness It will go smoothly havent seen my husband today six months ago ug...my i-129f wasnt transfered with my case lol funny right     yea...between that and the pregnancy its SOOOO annoying...that is funny, but hey, you don't wanna pay that adjustment of status fee anyway...tooooo much money... UNLESS we have to lol  So some of the early August NOA2 its been 3 weeks (approx) since the NOA2, has anyone heard anything from NVC about even receiving their file (I know its too much to expect a case no. yet but maybe the file has been received?) I was transferred 2/7 and I haven't heard anything...idk when im going to start calling though..i don't want to go back to being obsessed with it...just trying to focus on my baby and working until I can't work  anymore lol   Yup I was at CSC and got NOA2 on the 12th so I guess it took 6 business days (13,14,18,19,20,21) to reach the NVC. I know the 17th was a holiday but do we know if there were any snowdays in there? I don't think so? Wow...maybe I should call then huh?  lol  Its been 20 days for me almost lol  Although I didn't feel like its been this long..maybe all that time in the hospital made it seem shorter hahaha   Deep, do you think the I129f is the reason why I dont have my transfered yet?  I have both petitions also..i wouldn't freak out about it...MOST of them were fine....only a choice few took longer.  Mine DID take longer than everyone elses, but they both went through.   Please help me, I got very interested by what you just wrote and I would like to ask you some questions that have me concerned.    1. After 5 months of I-129F (K3), how can the K-3 get expedited? What should we do?   2. What list of documents did you put in the K3 package? I am worried that we didn`t put all that we were supposed to...    Thank you and congratulations on your approval! the k3 can get expedited by calling uscis....but chances are it'll be transferred before you even try and you need a heck of a good reason to be expedited.  my transfer came almost 6 months after my k3 pd date.  patience..i know its hard. I didn't put anything extra in my k3....they already had everything with my 130.  And that was with a lawyers advice.....and many many nights of reading   But I saw some august cases that they had the I129f too and they were transfered in a normal time is it correct? or I am wrong..how much extra time did take your case was transfered?  I was crying last night in front of the camara with my husband, it is so hard, we thought that the I129f will help!  thanks for everything, I really need some help and support like I said..was transferred...but like 3 weeks later than the pd date of my 130...don't cry..easier said than done I know   Thanks, because yesterday i got transferred and the date changed to today lol  The date changes with every email you get lol....no one said they had any sense lol	Lisa y Miguel	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-02-25 20:11:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Aug 2013 I-130 filers	I haven't been on VJ much the past 2-3 days as I have been working and in my free time trying to figure out what is needed for the National Visa Center.  I usually try to keep up with all the august filers but now I have fallen a little behind.    I am right there with you Lisa............confused, lol.  I understand my part but my question is.....once we get the number from NVC do I just go pay the fees and the DS-260 package is a hard copy mailed to my husband or do we log on to some site to electronically fill in the forms?  Its all kind of confusing.  I understand what is needed just not how we get it.    Deep I am so so happy for you.  congratulations......what a roller coaster ride you have been on.     Now where is Izzy?   Did you get approval yet my friend?  I haven't seen you for while now.     I hear ya!  I read it...I write it...im still confused...I'm one of those that need a specific dated list lol...only more so I think because im so nervous id forget something.  Plus I get nervous because I don't know what I can email him and what I need to send him as originals.  Sending things to Dominican Republic doesn't always work out very well lol     You'll get your case number and IIN, then it might take a couple of days for your AOS fee to be invoiced and the DS-261 (choice of agent) to become available. You'll need to check CEAC for that daily. Pay the AOS, and when it shows as paid in the system/has cleared your bank account, you can mail the AOS packet. You'll need to call NVC to confirm when it is received and reviewed. It'll take a couple of weeks after submitting DS-261 for the IV fee to be invoiced, so you just need to keep checking on CEAC for that as well. Once that's showing as paid, you can send the IV packet, though there might be a day or two before the actual application is available through the portal. There again, after submitting you need to follow up with NVC on the phone until you get case complete and an interview assigned. At no point should you be waiting for communication from NVC (which will be through email), you just have to stay proactive calling them and checking online.  What SHOULD be done while we're waiting for our case number...everything? nothing?  And the lawyer says not to get the police cert..but I read posts that say we should...and even more confusion I have no clue what im going to do or who to use for my AOS...so that doesn't help either.  Problem is...technically I only support my youngest daughter..but my oldest who is 20 lives w me and goes to school so I claim her on my taxes to get more back.  That screws me on the AOS guidelines.  And the past income tax I claimed my brother who lives here also. But this year did not claim him because he works now.  ugh.    On a different note, im afraid because I MOST LIKELY wont be able to attend my interview unless we reschedule...and who the hell wants to do that?  between my health right now, I cant fly until after I give birth...and after I give birth it'll take at least 6/7 weeks for me to be able to get the babies passport.  I just don't even know what to do anymore	Lisa y Miguel	Female	Dominican Republic	2014-02-23 13:03:00
