We adopted her from the local Humane Society when she was about 5 months old. We chose her birthday to be in May, so she'll be 3 next week. After spending practically every single hour of every day with her for 15 months, I haven't seen her in 18... We won't have kids. She's our "dog-ther". My husband sent me a little video of him picking her up from "daycare" this week. Before I got out of bed this morning I watched it four times! Yeah... This wait is so hard in so many levels. I'm thankful for this group, that makes things bearable!   Thanks! My husband has 3 dogs, they all waiting for me. The closer you get to the end, the harder it is. We are working urgently to correct the problem and expect our system to be fully operational again soon."   The truth is embassy didn't know when the system can be fix, its been 6 days now, I know ticket right now are crazy expensive but I still want to fly to my husband asap! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2014 Interviews	I spoke with someone who's husband was waiting for his visa to be issued at the Bridgetown, Barbados embassy on Friday. He was told by the embassy that, because of the system problems, they were only able to print 3 visas per day. He was lucky enough to be one of those 3.   So, at least at the Barbados US Embassy, they are printing visas, but only 3 per day right now. Am not sure what is happening at other Embassies.   Thanks for sharing...only print 3 visas per day...ummmm....better than nothing right..     Just realized your interview is next week already. I hope England isn't an issue either for your sake because after waiting for so long, this is the last thing you need. It's frustrating and upsetting. I've already cried today. I just changed my ticket to fly back the following Monday because I can't wait any longer than that and once again I will have to leave my husband if this isn't resolved. I thought that finally we could fly back together without ever having to say goodbye again. And if he doesn't fly back before August 9th we are really in trouble because the pilots here are going to go on strike. Just great. Glad everything is working out. For once, can't there be something easy about this process?!   This process is full of frustrations   so sorry you have to change the flight.    I was just talking with my husband, we still can't believe we had to go through a USCIS backlog, an NVC backlog and then a visa printing glitch. Seriously, what's the odds? Kinda unfair... But hold on, I am still hoping they can fix it today or tomorrow!!   I can't relax until I actually hug my husband!!    I think we will all remember our immigration experience for a long long time!   YES! I got really worried when they told me I might have to come back in a week because there was a computer system problem and that they couldn't access my ds260... right before she was going to give up, it got unlocked! I'll write a review of the embassy. PS: when the PO told me congrats and that we were approved, I just left. I had nothing to sign before leaving right? I got so surprised the interview itself took only 3 minutes I was confused and just left without asking...   Congrats! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2014 Interviews	Yes - an A4 manila envelope with a one page Immigrant Summary stapled to the front.  Ours was sealed with a clear Consulate sticker and had "Do Not Open" stamped all over it, plus a 3" x 4" label on the back.   One can tell that there is a rubber band around the papers.  You can feel it through the manila envelope (some people will say a "kraft envelope").   At the Consulate, we saw the file - it's just all the civil document copies, the police report, copies of the I-864 and DS-260 and the medical, plus a thousand pictures stapled to everything.   There were extra pictures in our bundle, but they still took the pictures we were told to bring and used the newest ones for the visa in the passport.   This is from the Sydney Consulate in Australia.  Your embassy/consulate might have a different process.   By the way, we did NOT receive any instructions for paying the Immigrant Fee.  There was a checked box on the label that said we had to pay it, but no instructions anywhere.  I found the ELIS signon thing to be quite tedious.  Thank goodness for Visa Journey!   Sukie in Oz     Thank you very much for the clear Information!      Our consulate says I can pay the immigrant fee at consulate, and I have to pay it before interview, so yes!
