Hi everybody....my fiance just got the last of here required documents, and has passed her medical exam at St Lukes....we are so very happy, yet we are both kind of nervous and anxious. I know this is some thing all people have delt with.

But last night right after she told me to go ahead and schedule the interview and my flight (because I am going to visit her and family for 2 weeks and attend the interview with her), I got on the computer and started looking at flights and the calendar trying to see what fits our schedule the best.

Before I called I had my copy of the letter the embassy sent out with tracking number etc. It says that must have a valid email address, ok no problem. So then I called and the lady asked me what is Rhiz birthdate, I know it is in Sept, but I could not remember her date, and then she asked me for her address, I had to get out my address book and gave it to her. I felt foolish, because I thought I had everything in front of me that I was going to need, wacko.gif wacko.gif and I do not know if it goes down as negative thing because I did not know her birthdate, I just had so many different thoughts in my head.
That is what I did wrong, I was trying to think, that always gets me in trouble, laughing.gif laughing.gif

Well, as it is, I fly to my wonder lady on Sept 8, 2009 and our interview is Sept 14th,....her birthdate is Sept 15 heart.gif biggrin.gif

For my experience i have the original divorce decree from my fiance what i did is i make some copy of it also..so during my interview last 22nd of september pre screener ask me his divorce decree and i hand the photocopied divorce decree..i keep the original..but better bring all during the interview photocopied or original coz we dont know what they want from us..During my interview my pre screener and CO was nice..ask me about maybe 5 to 6 question..but ohh well i turn to white slip cause of my delayed medical result w/c st.lukes fowarded my medical result on 23rd of september..so now im in same situation with TOPAZ,need to wait 6 weeks or less..coz we are still under Administrative review.. crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif really sucks and frustrating..

We got our NOA2! It arrived in the mail, even though we never got the email notifications (I did sign us both up for notifications, maybe I did it wrong or it just works like other gubment-run things, hehe).

Filing date was 7-22-09, Approval date was 10-14-09. Just 84 days!

Now comes some tough stuff. I'm still unemployed, have been since January. I've had a few interviews lately and another one coming up, but still no job. I'm actually working on starting a business instead, and I've started earning a little money, which with proper attention could build up to acceptable income in a possibly short time frame.

I have strong faith. I know beyond any doubt that God brought us together (and I'd be happy to explain any part of that if you want to know smile.gif ) Therefore I know a means will come up for this journey to be completed, and for the next one to begin.

I may need to make another post for the following question: Has anyone been in a situation where they've started a business after being unemployed and not having a long history behind their business, and gotten past the interview successfully?
