IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2014	They might just not be in the system yet, they've been delayed with all the weather issues over there.   I sent my documents via email (per timeline details below) and they can only see one in the system. I'm assuming its the AOS package since I sent that first. It took 7 days to get the email confirmation that they received that. When I call about the IV package they say they only show one is received. I personally am just calling for updates each day - I haven't called today, and will probably just wait until Tuesday since they're probably short staffed due to weather and then Monday is a holiday. I asked pretty much the same question and Saylin said that they're probably just backed up, which makes sense. Lots of snow and closures. Good luck!   thanks ... there..... but your's is e-filing, so m not sure how long it usually takes... but as per earlier messages, for non e-filing cases, the documents are scanned the very next day... to give benefit of doubt due to weather, I can understand 2 - 3 days, but it's almost 2 weeks for me...	jeegarshah	Not Telling	India	2014-02-14 15:47:00
IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - February 2014	The worst thing has happened...   i have submitted my AOS and IV documents to NVC which was delivered on Jan 27th and Feb 3rd respectively... According to NVC they have only received one package which they entered into their system on Feb 4th..   i asked them which package have you received and they mentioned that they can't tell until its reviewed (which usually takes 20 days according to previous VJers..) I have already emailed them my tracking labels on Monday (02/09/2014).. but haven't received any reply yet...   so any suggestion guys.. what should I do.. or just wait n watch this dumb system...   I hope atleast my IV documents have reached safely, as it had all the originals...  I was thinking about sending over the whole AOS package again, but thought will get some opinions from u guys....   It's such a terrible moment... can't explain...  never felt this helpless since I moved to US...	jeegarshah	Not Telling	India	2014-02-14 14:57:00

I got all excited when I saw the email but it was only an A-# change notification:   On December 4, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.   I was under the impression that this only happened when you've also filed I-129F but I guess this is not so (I haven't). BTW, my wife does not have an ARN and I suppose this means they've assigned her one.   same here... I got the same email an hour back... The email comes a week later.   Hopefully if you are case complete you will get a interview assigned. I decided to call again yesterday and request it one nore time and this time the operator took a very long time with me on the phone to write a detailed report. I havent heard back yet but i have a feeling it will get approved. I got a message that looks terrifying-ish, but with proper foreknowledge of the situation isn't so concerning (see attached image).   I guess I'll have to wait for further instructions. I got the same message for my case number and IIN. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	I requested the Police clearance for my husband from here at the afghan consulate in los anageles... even though the US embassy in afghanistan kabul emailed me saying it is not required for afghan or pakistan residents???? I really dont know who to believe any more so im just going to send everything and anything nvc might need. My first call go nvc was on the 14th when they had told me they had recieved my case on the 13th.. well i called this morning and they said they just recieved it on the 19th... it was a mistake on their part. She then went on to say wait 30 business from the 19th for a case number... that would be April 29th.... i plan on calling them every morning at 4:30am... cuz apparently their line is busy literally all day long. I postd on the fb group yesterday morning when i got the approval email. So, Pd- september 16, 2013 Transfer email- march 3, 2015 Hard copy of transfer- march 7, 2014 (it said it was trans, on the 4th to CSC) Approval text- march 12, 2014 (email said it was approved on 11th) Hard copy NOA2- TODAY (march 11th approval) I called NVC today during my luNCH break at work because i was just BORED lol and they told me they have my case already!!!! They got it march 13 (today) I did not expect that at all because i already knew it was going to take several days until they get it ! Now waiting for a case number.
