Thanks Jenny, but is time for us to take the lead and do not let them send the papers after 3 weeks after CC or interview date was assigned. We will fight this since is a payed service and is finished. Is enough TSC error, NVC asking BS things and delayed our CC and now this. We will have till the interview date over 310 days and this is to much. We had enough, the cup is full and we can not stand any more this BS. They are incompetent.

Did your AVR ever update to say that your case shipped out to Romania?

And yes, definitely call again. Remember, DOS closes in 2.5 hours, so get your wife on that

But looking at your signature, your case was sent out last week. Try getting your wife to call again, maybe even DOS too, and ask the same thing. The operator she spoke to might have given the wrong info.

Thanks Saylin, we do not now for shore if the pack left NVC, at Romanian Embassy the file did nor arrived yet and this is the reason that we have called NVC. I will ask my wife to call DOS and see what is happening. The dates from the signature are from the next day after CC from DHL track but it seems that is not our pack

what is not needed? When i called to the clinic, they told me i will need 2 shots...

Is HPV(human papillomavirus) vaccine and this is not needed if you are over 26 years old. Also if the 10 years passed from the last tetanus vaccine you will make another one.

Hey guys....

I am just curious about something. Has anyone gotten an SIF and then NOT received an e-mail the next day saying your case is complete. I am just wondering so I can get a time frame on this....NOT worried because our AVR has changed but just curious.

I just got off the phone with NVC and they told me that my email was received yesterday and they are looking at the pack. She told me to give them more time and to call next week. I did not find out if our email was accepted and they have seen that PCC is not needed

Approved!!!!!!!!!! We are sooo excited and happy, it was a beautiful day in Bogota (meaning no rain haha) and the woman who interviewed us was one of the nicest people ever. We are so thankful for everything, for all the help my fellow visa journey friends have given us. This was the best anniversary gift ever! It wasn't crowded at all, so we got out of there in less than 3 hours, that is almost record time for the Bogota consulate

I'd say they got your response and are looking into it. I'm not sure if it's quite over yet. I hope so though! You guys need your CC before the week is over.

I hope this will end this story and we will have CC. The Finland PCC is on the way to LA at my wife. But it will take time until NVC will receive it and again in the system and again waiting another 20 days. They can just ask me to bring the PCC at the interview and this is better.

We are with you...this is nuts. Val just called NVC, and a SECOND operator says we now have to provide ownership of a savings account with just over one dollar in it. You could NOT make it up, and I find this absolutely appalling. We have been on medical expedite since Nov 26th, and they are doing this to us?

Words fail me...and I understand how pissed off you are about providing a PCC you don't need. Once again - NO accountability.

Sorry to hear that Gary, but please talk with them and suggest them to send it by email as pdf file, post will delay and is in your advantage to end this stage. I think that they have to much to work this days and do not pay attention on the details af the files like should be.
I will keep my fingers crossed for us Gary, and God help us to have the CC this week.

I honestly do not understand what is to review since was already made that once and since they have the same info and nothing new. They received IV pack on 10 March, putt it in system on March 22 and on 28 they have asked this PCC, that is not needed. I'm so pissed off. My birthday is May 29 and my wife and I have hoped that we will celebrate together. Since this mess we have doubts on this.

This is what I got in response of my email sent to the yesterday :
Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate
action will be taken once this review has been completed.

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the
NVC (by email, telephone or mail), all submitted fees and documents will
expire. In that case, your fees will need to be repaid and documents
will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration
process.

What I must understand from this? Is the RFE mistake over or is just a delay? Some opinion will be appreciated.

I'm starting to think we should avoid the operators - like TSC, they just depress us. The girl I spoke to yesterday said we'd have to wait 6 to 8 WEEKS, just for them to review a bank statement showing $150?!!!

Obviously, I take that with a grain of salt, just as you will be done well before the 20 days wait.

I understand your frustration. Monday we find out about RFE, called them to let them now that is less than 12 months outside the country. Tuesday spoke with supervisor and let him now also and he made a note in the system. Wednesday we get RFE letter dated 30 March and AVR is telling us 28 March. This is such a broken system. Today the operator told me to wait , but for what if the pack was already reviewed and they have asked a document not needed according with their website. I'm just wondering to add NVC error along with USCIS error tomorrow when I will ask the expedite ?

Really unbelievable stuff. Glad you're sorted anyway, and case complete.

What a pity they don't know their own governments rules!

I am sick and tired of all this bad job made by US Government. Why they can not be like Finland Government? Imagine that I have emailed them for PCC and they respond me that will be sent to my wife in US in english language. Will be an invoice on envelope also for 11 ?. This is the wright spirit. :thumbs:

I just looked at your timeline...can't believe you've gone more than twice as fast as us! We began Dec 2009 and utilized a lawyer! When I talked to the NVC in mid November, they told me they hadn't yet begun scheduling interviews for December in Hong Kong, so I would imagine that it shouldn't take much longer for her to get the interview. We are in close contact with the Hong Kong consulate, doing weekly status checks to make sure everything is on track.

How long did it take for the NVC to send the DHL package to Hong Kong for you? And how long was it to the next step?

Yeah you are right they are very responsive to emails. I sent an inquiry to them last Nov. 23 and i got the respond in 2 days ..saying they received our case and they still conducting administrative work and they expect to send the packet 3 to my beneficiary this week but my beneficiary haven't got any mail today its friday there ..We approved last Nov. 5 so its almost a month now..Wonder if its really that long to schedule an interview in Hong Kong...hopefully next week we got the packet..she is patiently waiting...

We are on a similar track to you. My wife is a Hong Kong resident and where the case is being processed though she currently lives in Taiwan. Our lawyers made a costly mistake that delayed our application nearly two months by submitting the case to Taiwan and telling us that changing it to the Hong Kong consulate would be easy and fast...they were wrong. Well, once my wife and I got involved and contacted the consulate and provided the information they needed to move the case forward, things are moving quickly now.

We have found that the Hong Kong consulate is very responsive to emails using their online form.

Howdy All,

I'm going to be visiting Ukraine later this year, and I'll need to have a relatively continuous data connection while I'm there. Something like a MiFi would be great. I didnt really want a USB card, cuz then I have to have a laptop all the time. Verizon claims they have data coverage there, so I could add international data roaming (relatively cheap) to my android phone.... but I dont know if I trust their claim on it.

Does anybody have any experience with renting/buying a device like this (which provider?)? I can pick it up in Kiev, but I'll mostly be in Kirovograd.

I do not now if you can trust them but you can be shore that you will find some coffee shops that have WiFi and you can use your phone without problem. At least in Romania is like that.

Am primit noa2 recent si in momentul de fata asteptam ca NVC sa trimita pachetul la ambasada in Bucuresti. Pana atunci, incerc sa pregatesc toate documentele de care am nevoie pt interviu.
Am o intrebare legata de examenul medical. As vrea sa stiu daca as putea sa imi fac vaccinurile care poate imi lipsesc (inca nu am adeverinta cu vaccinurile care le am) la medicul meu de familie ca sa nu le mai fac la clinica in Bucuresti! Rog persoanele care au trecut prin experienta aceasta, sa posteze un raspuns!
De asemenea, as dori sa stiu daca am nevoie de copia dosarului pe care logodnicul meu l-a trimis la California Service Center in iulie 2010. Parerea mea e ca nu am nevoie de copia acelui dosar, ci pur si simplu pot sa iau unele documente din acel dosar si sa fac un al doilea dosar mult mai complet care sa il am la interviu. Va rog sa-mi spuneti daca am dreptate sau nu!
Astept un raspuns..si va multumesc anticipat!

Despre copia continutului dosarului depus la NVC stie ca e necesara, plus cateva dovezi extra. Referitor la vizita medicala cred ca te pot ajuta ceilalti membrii care au trecut prin acest proces.
Nu in ultimul rand vreau si eu sa intreb cand ati primit notificarea de la California Service Center prima, si cand ati primit cea de-a doua notificare. Noi am depus actele tot in Iulie si inca asteptam a doua noticicare. Succese maxime si asteptam raspunsul. :thumbs:
