If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have any support in this whole process and I would have been ABSOLUTELY clueless on what steps to take. My marriage certificate was accepted (ha I knew I was right!) and if it wasn't for VJ I wouldn't have had the idea to send repeated emails, email the embassy, call everyday etc. until my case was complete. I am truly blessed to have you all and this website for support. Thank you again!!!!!!!!!! Also I called this morning and the man literally read what was on the screen "unfortunately ma'am the cases for april are filled, you can call back the 3rd week of april as appts are scheduled the 2nd week......." NVC takes forever to email you back. We have called yesterday.They confirmed that documents are in the building but not in the system yet. A few questions: 1. When we send in OPTIN email for EP at Montreal, do we just send filled DS-3023 form with the email? 2. For EP process at Montreal, which choice-of-agent form do we need? Just in case! Gotta have my bases covered! Usually it takes 3-4 days until you will have the acceptance of DS-3032. You can send another email just to be shore . Good luck. I noticed on my Cover Sheets both on AOS and IV, that they are marked with "CR1" underneath the bar code. If our marriage was over 2 years ago after the NVC inputted our case into their system, shouldn't that be marked with "IR1"? Did they make a mistake or is that corrected some place else along the process? Thank you! What a coincidence , we have the same day, month and year at our weddings Feb 28 2009 . How can i ask NVC operator to give me case number and IIN number? How can i verify with NVC operator that my file is in NVC now?. The only thing that's REQUIRED is the most recent year (2009) of tax returns/transcripts. The employment letter is optional as well as the 2 other years for tax stuff (2008, 2007) We have sent 2009 and 2010 taxes , co sponsor the same, and as employment letter the email from the company saying the date my wife start the job there and contact details of the company, plus 6 pay stubs. For this reason they are able to pay and send both in one envelope in short time. Also I see that waiting time to be impute in the system AOS and DS-230 is about 15 days. I believe(personal opinion) that for this reason the ones that are not using a lawyer should send the papers as soon they will have the cover sheet even if are one at the time. They probably didn't have a backlog, so they were able to work faster. I will ask my wife to send in IV packet the info from USCIS website where is mentioned about informing NVC about the mess of CSC-TSC-CSC. They told me that they have only recieved the electronic format of our case & the paperwork should arrive in 2-3 days & they can onlu let me know only after that. However what surprised me was the fact that, they told me that NVC will schedule our appointment & we need to send the paper work to them. Which is totally contradictory to what NVC had told me!! And why should NVC send our case to the Counsulate if they had to do the rest of the process!! Ahh!! After IV payment will show payed, and after documents will be sent to NVC we will ask an expedite based on what you asked. Hope that this will work for us to.
