Makingitwork13: any examples for short AP from ir experience? Thank u. S&A: it is not missing, it was considered a plus, he told me no problem. Send it when ur done. Middle East and North Africa	administrative processing in jordan	Hi brothers and sisters, Yesterday i was interviewed for the an immigrant visa, i am an unmarried son of an american citizen,.and everything went fine. But at the end they took a decision to put my case on administrative processing. They gave me a white slip titeled with refusal sheet, justified by reason 221g for further AP and one missing paper which they never requested before, that is the civil status, to confirm that i am still single. which means i have to wait for a long long time. I have been in the united states for three times on a visit visa, and travelled to many many countries, uae, saudi arabisa, jordan, uk, thailand besides kuwait where my job is. Anybody can give me a hint? How long do i have to wait? Anybody had the same experience? They told me u can check the status online and gave another green paper with instructions, and when u see ur cas was approved, send ur passport via aranex along with missing documents.	rami hamed	Male	Jordan	2013-02-11 07:18:00

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Refusal & green worksheet gave after interview... please help	--------- alternatively - you can find temp housing on craigslist - see http://craigslist.org pick your state in the right panel, then pick your city. you can POST something also, I suggest: 1. close to hospital 2. private room with bathroom/kitchen priviledges 3. internet access you should be able to get something in the 300 to 500/month range, perhaps with a deposit. Alternatively, go back to the hospital, find the doctor that manages the interns, tell him your situation, ask if he/she knows of temporary lodgings that the interns might use, close to the hospital. I feel strongly, if you can explain yourself to that doctor, they can actually put you up in some dormitory for free or almost free, and it will be close to the hospital. Now, I AM NOT A DOCTOR, nor do I play one on TV, but - I suggest to you, you'll need to wait about 3 weeks for your baby to grow stronger. I strongly suggest breastfeeding as well - talk to the charge nurse at the infant section about setting up a schedule for you, about breastfeeding. That baby will grow stronger from your breastmilk, quicker than WITHOUT it. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Refusal & green worksheet gave after interview... please help	You better have another income plan - because if he is approved for the K-1, your looking at 3-6 months before he can work upon arrival (that is with an AOS - which costs $1010.00) Also - since they need an I-134 - do you make enough income to support 3 people at 125% of the poverty level? Just try to send the missing papers asap and they will probably issue him his visa. As fast as you send the papers, faster he will be there with you. Good luck! My baby still in the hospital i delivered him on 7 months of pregnancy, I want to go back to jordan at least i can be with my fiance and family but the doc said his immune-system is week now you should wait because its 22 hours flight. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Please help on K1 visa	my fiance asked for more requirement for a second time after his interview please read his letter to the US embassy so you know the case & let me know what is your advice. I have a K1 visa, and US embassy send me a letter it says: “ Section 212: you need to submit English translation of birth certificate & marriage certificate. 1. It’s a K1 visa why asking for marriage certificate….. I send my fiancé to deliver baby in USA because no hospital in Jordan agree to take her without marriage certificate….. so we are not married 2. In my interview in the embassy they passed me a letter with all the requirements and I already send it through ARAMIX. It was my baby birth certificate from USA what they mean English translation of birth certificate …. ITS ALREADY IN ENGLISH 3. I spend 1 year waiting for this case, I sold my car to pay the fees of the case, tickets for my fiancé between Amman & USA, my fiancé life expense while she is waiting with me in Amman for almost a year, DHL, Aramix …..etc. I even lost my job just waiting for this visa to go and start my life in USA with my fiancé. Why you playing games with me either give me the visa or don’t, I can bring my fiancé, get married and settled in Amman. My fiancé living in a hotel, just had a C-section & taking care of premature baby, all that it happened because she had to fly 22 hours flight going to USA to deliver a baby alone and she was hoping they will handed me visa on my interview. We called US embassy in Amman to help my fiancé to deliver the baby in Amman but nobody give us any help. I wish you a good luck, but in administrative processing case you have to be patient, it?s just a timing game. Like no matter how you email them or try to expedite it, it  leads you to  nothing. And every case is different; it could take days, months, and years. My case has been under AP for over a year and I couldn?t do anything about it, every time I?ve  contacted them they  send me the exact same email. They can make inquiries, but there won?t be any effect until after the petition is outside of normal processing time guidelines. Even then, it is negligible in most cases. But it does make one feel like they are doing something by "shaking the tree." Plus everywhere I have read the congressman or senator can?t really expedite the administrative processing. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Still under administrative processing for a year	I had my interview on 6th of February 2013 at US Embassy Amman/Jordan, everything went perfect and the counselor handed us (221g) form, they asked me to submit documents. We thought the processing would be over after I sent in one of the documents that were missing.  But after the interview I got a phone call from the embassy and they said that we sorry the counselor forget to tell you you?re going under administrative processing, and they asked me not to send anything until this processing is over, and they will inform me what to send. The first couple months waiting I wasn?t that worried, but after that when we have  started emailing them and asking about it they always has the same answer which this case under AP and  have to wait and every case is different. They leave us with no answers. I am really paranoid and I don?t know what to do! Me and my wife got married in US, then we moved to Jordan.  We have been married for over three years. She is us citizen and left her country and has stayed with me since 2011. And I have been reading about AP and I do understand there is no way to expedite this processing. Plus for certain cases it takes years and for others get denied. I have clean record and I never done anything illegal. Also, we are applying for ir1 visa if that makes a difference. I don?t really think will be an issue, as soon as you can show proof; like conversations, letters, messages, and pics etc.. Try to collect every single thing you have to improve your case.
