Wyld Blu, what a pain... I hope that they receive your case soon in Amsterdam and can work at it too. I guess Peet is right about summertime... tourist visa, and well maybe people like to study in September? And well USCIS was very busy with Work visa for a long time...so maybe that is now a problem in our own country? Have no idea but what a pain! I don't understand USCIS, NVC, consulates anyway! Take care and i am still hoping to get NOA2 soon! I can't wait, and who knows maybe my husband got it in his mailbox but he isn't home yet... couple more days! Its just for about 4 weeks, because he need to go for a training to another state in September till November, i hope to get my visa before the end of this year. I believe there are just two kinds of the certificate needed, one is a photocopy, and one is an original. Thanks for the support Ri! I didn't know California also was working on the work visas, since they are one of the main hubs you send the family visas off too. Well, either way hopefully all of them will pick up soon! I don't understand why it takes them so long anyway, it takes 15 minutes to enter the information into the computer and another to get forms ready to send off to that applicant! =] Thank you Lindsey! Well this week i go to the townhall and I will ask for the original one. Do i need to get this one translated??? Or how is that going? Pfff... if this need to get translated it isn't original anymore! So i need an international birth certificate and an original one... which is a photocopy?? Ok, yesterday my husband and I, we both called military helpline after a tip from an army wife... well they weren't really helpful at all! So I was really sad about it, because i hoped so much that they could help, they weren't helpful to answer a question either! But well that army wife, just called and didn't need to do a whole lot, just a talk and they got an expedite! So i was just hoping to much that we could do the same! BUT Today I checked our case at USCIS.gov website and its saying: last update: 05/26/2009 so is that a touch? Did our call help? I hope so! Take care!
