And also regarding the email address thing, then you have to correct that,, open another email on your name and any thing you may think as an hindrance, you need to start fixing them prior to your next interview maybe for the K1 or the Spousal visa.

I would like to chip in one advise here. when the CO asked whats your future plan, you don't need to talk much so as for you not to complicate yourself. short and genuine answer is enough. for example, if the CO ask me such questions. i would only say, my future plan is to get married , have a lovely kids ,always be there for my hubby and to grow old together till we die. that is all. but when you said to send u back to school,bla bla and so on it complicates matter. remember this in your next interview, be it spousal or any kind of visa. but for me, I would advise you to get married and then apply for CR-1 Spousal, because i have read about people who got denied on K1 and got married and then got approved for their spousal visa

I won't say I agree totally that you can't make the photos in Russia, My husband made his own photos in Russia. write than the size and then send it to your fiancee to take it to the studio and give it to them to make exact size and they will make it for her... you can also ask her to send you her photos and then you resize it to the exact one and then send it to her for her to print it out . but i think where you print the passport photos does not matter to the consulate as long as you have the required ones.

I am not a citizen of Russia, I am a Nigerian but to go to schengen is not that difficult here from Russia. If you want to go to schengen , you don't need to apply for visa to France because France embassy and their law is very hard , so you will have to pass through one of the easiest embassy which is Greece , so you can apply for Greece tour and it is very easier to get their visa and once you get visa for Greece for your girlfriend , then she can use the visa for Greece to go to France also, but she will enter through Greece then take a flight or train to France. I think this is better for you .just a little advice

I am living in Russia also for many years and this is how i do whenever i want to visit schengen countries for holiday and i have advised my Russian friends like this and they got it very easy also

Oh am so sorry about this Ebunoluwa. What happened to you also happened to me and my wife, i am also a Nigerian living in Russia for more than 5 years now, They kept asking for different documents and even at some time we went to American embassy in Moscow to get some documents for her also , and spent triple what we supposed to have spent and has to pay a big fine for her visa to be renewed again in Russia because as they first explained to us, we thought is going to be 2 weeks but later turned up to be 47 days . So if anybody want to marry in a third country, they should ask very well and create enough time for this. At some point there is no other way, is either we go to Nigeria to have it or she traveled back home and we plan it for the following year and my wife tears could not make me sleep , she is always cry as our friends and family from other European countries who have bought their ticket already were worried but God really did everything and then we had to tell them to reschedule the time and with a bit of luck we got our wedding date and the wedding date coincide with the date i told them to change their ticket to and we were happy at the end and during the wedding she even danced as if she won't dance anymore on earth. laughs !! . So your advise is good, its better to prepare very well and can stay a long time should in case there is need for it .

The whole situation sounds a little overly dramatic. All I will state is this: if you have doubts, trust your gut instincts. Nigeria is the #1 country in the world regarding fraud- or any kind. That said, it doesn't mean you're on that boat. Just do your research and use an objective eye for these issues. It's hard, but not impossible. Don't feel stupid; love is the worst delusion. We all suffer from being love sick at some point in our lives. Some, suffer all their lives.


I would say shut up your mouth for saying Nigeria is the #1 country in fraud. for your information my husband do have egyptian friends and many have duped him before and my husband is a Nigerian, that does not mean all egyptians are fraudsters neither does it mean all Nigerians are fraudsters. what about if another person said Egypt is a terrorist country, are we going to say they are incorrect, ofcourse they are. they are bunch of craps in Egypt, but i will be a fool to say because Egyptians are terrorist then someone's else relationship or marriage might be bad because of this. so if you don't know how to advise, is better you keep shut and don't say a damn word.
To Nancan, my advise to you is to check your heart, the country where your hubby come from or your fiance comes from does not matter,what matter is the type of person he is, I have read about a British who got married and divorced after months, likewise Americans getting married to fellow Americans and ending up in divorce.So country does not matter, it might be you are doubting him because of where he comes from, though there may be many bad things happening there but that does not mean all of them are bad. look into the situation very well, pray about it , as prayer is the key to solve all problems, check your heart very well to see if you truly love him, look at his behavior very well and see if he truly loves you. as have said earlier with prayers everything is simple. don't be mad because his sister made fun of you because of your weight, be proud of whom you are, having weight is not a bad thing, and as you have said, he apologized for what his sister did, so thats still fine. Unable to reply you does not mean that he is lieing, he may be lieing or may not. but is you that will know as your heart will never deceive you. Please look at the situation very well before you decide what you want to do. As nobody knows when you guys met, so don't let anybody give you a wrong advise, this is your life, you must face it by yourself and last time, be prayerful .

Yes it takes time to receive package from Russia unless you are lucky. so my husband do use DHL all the time and i receive it in 3 days , maximum 4 days . and my husband is not a Russia but an African and he has been living for years in Krasnodar . you can check Russian DHL website and you will type the city where your husband lives and it will take you to the address of their office that is if they have one in that city. but UPS is good also . he just have to buy a big envelope and put all the documents in there, go to their office and drop it. and here it goes.

your friend can translate as long as he or she has the right to do so, I mean a translator. if you want your husband to translate it also in Russia and send it to you, its very cheap over there. my husband translated the marriage certificate, everything and other documents in Russian language in Russia and it cost only 400p / page . and after translating it, you will have to notarize it as you've said. so either way, as long as they translate it very well and don't forget that the translator must write a letter confirming that he or she do the translation very well and everything he or she wrote there is the exact translation of the Russian version

Tell your husband to go to DHL office or Fedex office, he can send it from there. my husband have sent me originals and he sent it by DHL. don't go through Russian post, first they are very slow and it will take like 1 month before you receive , second your package may get lost. i don't like them.
