K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-1 Affidavit of Support	Hi, we just recently sent in our K-1 application, they received it in Texas on the 14th and forwarded it to the California service center. I was reading through the step by step guide here on visa journey and found the bit about the affidavit of support. At the moment I do not have a job, just recently returning back home. And I am uncertain as to if I will have one by the time I need the Affidavit of support, but I hope that I do. I read somewhere about being able to use a co-support type thing, or using funds my fiance has saved as proof of support also. My question is what if I do not have a job at that time, or if I am not making much? And how do I go about/what do I need to fill out to use co-support or my fiances funds for proof? Still one day to go and a few fridays ago they came out with sooo many NOA' s. Probably this won' t be the case as it looks ! Nice girl you have, United Eastern Europe ! Thank you kindly, I couldn't imaging finding someone else who could make me go through so much to be with them. I'm sure it's the same with 99% of us on the boards. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Ugh, she opened the envelope from the embassy	I believe that the envelope contains your original approved I-129F petition with all supporting documentation, the medical results, the police certificate, and possibly copies of the consular visa forms. And the I-134 with the tax returns.....when I entered the US, the officer at the POE went through all the papers in the envelope just to make sure the tax return was in there, as well....don't ask me why	CWR	Not Telling	Germany	2006-03-02 14:36:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-134 vs. I-864	My understanding so far: I need the I-134 filled out by my fiance for the interview and the I-864 for the AOS later in the States. But the co-sponsor... pfffhhh... I have no clue. I had the I-134 for Frankfurt and will use the I-864 for the AOS now, so I agree with you there. Sorry I can't help you with the question about the co-sponsor, didn't have one.... I'm stressing a bit much over this, we sent the packet to the Dallas Lockbox on the 29th of December so it's been 13 days and still no NoA1....is it supposed to take this long just for NoA1??
