Hi There! I know that the CR-1 spouse visa valid for 6 months! I want to know when is latest time should my wife enter US without any issued? Can she enter US just about a month before her Visa expired or should she enter to US sooner than that? I would like to know so I can plan to go back there and come back together! Thanks for all the response.

US Citizenship General DiscussionNeed help with the paper work...please...

Birth certificate or passport, take your choice, what did he use to bring you over here?

In regards to evidence, that new listing of for marriage states you only need three years of tax returns, transcripts are the easiest and the best, takes about a week to get them calling that IRS 800 number. But have yet to read a respondent that got by with just tax returns.

In our stage, had to provide every bit of evidence, even a worthless utility bill that is not even mentioned in that long list. Just wonder if you printed out that new attachment and showed that to your IO, that three years of tax returns is all you need for evidence.

A still need all that marriage certificate, divorce, proof of citizen #######, when they already have all that stuff. How in the hell do they think you got through that AOS and ROC stage to get your green card in the first place? Its against our state law to even make a copy of our marriage certificate, a $10,000 fine if you do. So they have three of these marriage certificates at eight bucks a piece. No wonder why my wife told me her file was over three inches thick.

Thanks...I already called IRS I order 3 yrs of tax returns...hope that will do...God Bless!!!

I was interviewed at Indianapolis office last week, it went well...Male officer was assigned to me, he is nice. The whole interviewed didn't last long about 10 min, the travel from our place to Indy is longer than the time we stayed there. He said I will probably have my oath taking sometimes in august. Then I check my status online and it say's there they put me in line for oath taking and they will send me a letter regarding when & where will it be. Oh by the way I'm also a Filipina :)

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionQuestions on documents for i-751
Hi!

My husband and I are filing together for the "Removal of conditions" for my husband. We hired an immigration lawyer to help us file i-751. After our consultation today, I have too many questions. I did my homework before we went to the lawyer on what documents are needed. These are some of the documents our lawyer wanted us to send to USCIS which didn't make sense to me. Could someone please see this and let me know if I really need the documents below.

1. Copies of my Date of Birth Certificate and my husband's. (Didn't we do that 2 years back when we filed for my husband's green card? Why again?)
2. Copy of my husband's divorce decree with his ex-wife who divorced my husband 2 year before we file for his Permanent Residency. (We submitted this 2 years back before our interview in 2011. I thought the documents for i-751 is mainly to show the proof of our relationship. I don't know why we should submit the divorce decree which was file 4 years' back. Wouldn't this be confusing?)
3. Copy of all Credit cards jointly owned (I have our credit card statements with both our names for the past 2 years. Why should I show the copies of both our credit cards?)
4. Copy of my US passport (Again, it has been established that I am a US citizen on the day I was born and that could be verified with my SSN. So why my passport?)
5. Copies of Social Security Cards of my husband, our son and I (I am submitting a copy of our son's DOB certificate. We are all mentioning our SSN on the i-751 application. So why do we have to show the copies of the SS cards?)

So these are the questions I have. I looked at lot of reviews online before hiring a lawyer. But i want to make sure he knows what he is talking about. I am not sure if I need to submit any of these documents. I would appreciate if an immigration lawyer or someone with experience could help me with this.

Thank You,

Tabitha

How does the email notification thing work?

My husband and I mailed our i751 on 04/06/2013 to CSC.

I just tried tracking my package:

You entered: 9114901075742380499058

Your Item's Status
Your item was delivered at 11:22 am on April 08, 2013 in LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA 92677.

I don't believe I gave my email address to USCIS anywhere. So I haven't received my NOA1. I was curious if I could submit my email address somewhere on the USCIS website to get the receipt number or do I have to wait till I get the hard copy?
