I applied 2010 summer, finally things happened and in June of 2011 we got her interview date. I didn't go with here which I regret. Now I have moved here for moral support in London here. She finally got her interview on June 16 2011. I went thru a good lawyer in Atlanta. After her interview she was told that they need more time "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS". Its October 15, I have emailed the U.S Embassy in London few times via phone and email. We keep getting same reply back that it will just take time. I have moved here in London and our "patience" is so so running out. Does anyone know how long can Administrative Process take?? Is there anything we can do to expeditaite? Please Please help!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Intent to deny I-129F letter , please help	why in the world would he need a lawyer, so you want him to pay 600 dollars for someone to place a stamp on an envolpe with 2 pieces of paper and a couple of pic in it? all the uscis is asking him for is the letters of intent. he sent in one with both of their signatures when he was suppose to sent in two separate letters signed. and in your case even with a lawyer there's nothing that anyone can do if it's in AP all you have to do is wait until they're finish processing your application. I myself am in AP it's frustrating but I have to wait. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS DELAY FOR K1 VISA IN LONDON EMBASSY	The problem is because of being from Pakistan so London will do security checks. It happens to many foreign born at that embassy. It could involve waiting on somebody in another office location to research a physical file and report back to London. They don't know how long it will take them to get the clearance. It has nothing to do with believing your relationship. Because it involves security, they won't detail to you or your Congressman what they are doing. You just have to wait. I do agree if by tiny chance a report has come back to London and they've overlooked it, just maybe a congressman's official inquiry might jog it loose. But mostly I think you wait. Being married and starting over would still result in the same security checks before the visa would be issued. Thanks Nick for responding and getting me some ideas. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS DELAY FOR K1 VISA IN LONDON EMBASSY	AP wait times in pakistan tend to run a long time from what i have read on this forum. You could contact your congress and request them to make an inquiry. Some say that doesn't help but from experience i will say it helps "a little". You never know what is actually going on with your case when it's in AP because they are not giving you any information(i know thats hell) but i think it helps to have someone "higher up" look at your case and i think that is what happens when a contact is made through congressional email. Yes it does go to someone higher up in the embassy but if your case is still pending the checks they are going to tell your congressman "it's still pending" so don't expect a miracle or nothing. I think it helps because what if your case is just sitting on someones desk collecting dust, or got lost or misplaced...rare maybe but not impossible...so at least you know someone is looking into your case... Being together with someone for 10 yrs, and not getting married can be questionable situation for CO. You may have get AP because there can be name check process, etc etc. As generally people from Pakistan have to go thru AP. I am wondering why your lawyer didnt suggest for marriage first. But anyway, better to wait! Getting married now, and withdraw K1, then apply for CR-1 right away can put more questions for your situation. Just wait a while more! May be, few more months. Hey.. Thanks for the reply... My lawyer told me that k1 visa is the fastest way of getting her in USA. So I went with that. I didn't have american passport and in fall of 2009 I got that. So I had to wait. Its a long love story! Her family didn't agree of us being with each other. Its a very complicated love story. I just hope things work out fast for us. PLEASE HELP!	that can happen but if you look at the statistics its rare or its a common name like Muhammad that is causing the delay or its a family based visa that is waiting on a priority date to be current. the average time is between 5-8 months sometimes a little longer... dont read horror stories about AP you have to remb there are always things behind those long AP's that we may not ever know or is not shared with us. we were told we were in normal processing so we are hoping to hear something within the next month or two. I hate to say this, but I'm seriously starting to believe that, the longer you know the person- the worse. Did you present evidence of relationship dating back 10 years and revealed your parents discontent? Sometimes, less is more and unless your parents have to sign a legal document allowing any of you to marry, why disclose that? Maybe I'm totally wrong; maybe they asked and is always better to tell the truth. Maybe you could detail your experience and help others overcome this situation. We did show proof of everything from past 10 years, it has crossed my mind that we gave too much info. But we didn't want to lie. I didn't send no parents consent form, I think that wouldn't be needed. I did go thru a good lawyer. If I had to go back in time, I wouldn't have given so much info. I also didn't go to interview with her, so if i can go back in time, I would have gone to interview with her too. But things happen fo a reason. I just hope that this AP gets over. I mean we are living in technology age, it should have been done quicker. I wonder whats taking soo soo long for them to say yes. We both dont have any criminal history or anything. There are 2 factors, 1 of them is that we both are Muslim, and the 2nd is that we are both orginally from Pakistan. Those 2 reasons are why we are in this.. I am pretty sure about that. It doesnt last forever. We've also been going thru ap for almost 7 months. If you change now all it would do is delay you for another year or longer. Just let the embassy finish thier work and you should see your visa within a few more months. The congressman we have told me they dont do name checks etc unless they plan to issue the visa if they were going to deny they would have done it at that time or right after the interview... denial could also come from negative background checks it happens but as long as you have clean records it should be finished soon ...There is no guarantee you wouldnt end up in a longer AP for CR1. June 16 2011 she had her interview at US Embassy in London,UK. We had a realationship for 10 years and showed all the proof, its a long story, we both are from Pakistan and Muslim. Our familes didn't agree for years but we both waited and waited. I came to London like 8-10 times in 10 years. Now my question is that after she had her interview on June 16,2011., we have been put on "Administrative Process", I have emailed the embassy and called them as well, but get the same answer., Its under Administratvie Process, I have called the Dept.of Visa in USA and I get the same answer. Last month I involved my local Senator, and he emailed them once in Dec.2011 and pretty much he got the same answer. What should we do? Do you think we should get married and apply again? I did have a pretty good lawyer, she really can't do anything as well, I had a metting with her last month, she told me "no one can touch embassies", they are by themselves. She also mentioned that if we change our status to Married there is no Gurantee that we may not get Adminstrative Process again. I just want some ideas, if someone had a same situation or knows someone had a same situation. I hope you all best of luck, I have been praying hard! United Kingdom	London Medical - Knightsbridge Doctors	You might ask the doctor for a copy of the DS-3025 (which is the form they fill out for the embassy) when you have your medical. It can make things easier when you file for your adjustment of status. My fiance asked for one and the doctor made sure to provide a copy for free. Good luck! They told me that they would post the form to me (after they received some additional vaccination info from the GP) and I didn't even ask for it.
