I've been APPROVED!

I have a banging headache now...need a lie down lol. The experience was painless (except for my own stupidity mostly). Just gonna have a spot of lunch and then come back and write my review.....

Tomorrow night we leave for London for our interviews Friday morning. My nerves are getting the best of me, even though I know that we haven't done anything wrong or left out anything. This whole process is so frustrating, and I'm up to my ears in boxes.. walking around them, tripping over them, knocking them over. I know it's best to have everything packed and ready (so I can get a good estimate of size for shipping companies), but living another 60+ days like this is going to drive me nuts (as if I wasn't nuts already!).

Good Luck Hokie! :D

I just received a letter from the embassy about not hearing from me re the P3. I sent it back last week, but i need a contact point there to tell them it's sent and to check they have it. Is there an email or number i can call that someone knows of?

I received this letter too. I didn't contact them as I received the letter a few days after I sent Packet three back. It was fine for me and I received my appointment. I'm not sure who in particular you would contact unless you want to call the extortion line or write a letter but your letter would get there after your packet three which would prove your intention to continue I guess.

£86 in cash? why cash?

To pay for the actual visa. I'm not sure if this amount varies though. I did read that it can change according to the exchange rate. Maybe someone who has had their interview already could clarify?

I am in similar situation and have the same question. I received packet 4 two days ago. My interview date is 6th of May too. We plan to take with us one year old boy. Any advice?

I don't know how helpful these two links are but I came across them during the week:

If someone from the embassy said not to bring them then it seems a little contradictory. But I also notice these blogs were post lasted year so I don't know if they changed something.

My POE was yesterday in Orlando. Oh my goodness the officer in secondary spoke to me as if I had an IQ of 60... he mentioned the 90 days to get married at least 10 times. But hey... everyone was nice so could have been worse.

Aawww glad you go through ok :)

Stupid - cheaper to fly from NI than to take a 3 hour train journey from Manchester - and quicker too! Oh for cheap public transport, sigh...

At this moment I'm very glad I live in London lol

Ok, I called the number, £20 phone call! The lady was VERY Irish, and I am VERY American. We had to repeat everything at least 4 times before we understood each other!

I emailed LondonIV -- crossing my fingers that they'll move our interview date up; will update here when I get a reply.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

Fingers crossed for ya :)

Had my interview today and was approved. yay! The actual "interview" part took about one minute. The waiting 3 hours for that one minute wasn't so great but had to be done.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)221 g status AP
HEY.. I am orginally from Pakistan but have lived in USA for past 23 years. I have a Fiance` in London, UK. She had her interview on June 16,2011 and since then we have been in ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS.. Imagine what we are going thru. I have since last month involved my Senator from Georgia USA, and he has emailed USA Embassy in London and he has gotten the same answer.. saying that its under Administrative Process. This process can take 1 day to years.... no one knows. I pray hard to God for you! May you have your Visa and start your life with your loved one. I have been in London for past 6 months for her moral support. I am going thru hell... I have been praying and praying... I have been on other sites and really looked into this "Administrative Process", it totally sucks!! Everyone is against it. We both are Muslim... I just hope it isn't for some "racial reasons". Well I hope you best of luck my friend!! Take Care!! O by the way we applied under K1 Fiance` Visa.
