The woman he spoke to was very nice, and an immigrant herself to boot (from Russia), she said not to worry about calling every day (except, I don't think I can take it! ) She also said that it seems like Montreal does the interview scheduling in the middle of the month --which backs up the 2nd tuesday of the month theory. in which case... is it Tuesday yet?! Well tourist stuff only if everything goes well, otherwise, I'll be crying all day at the hotel. We're staying at the Sofitel, stay 3 nights and the 3rd night is free. SOLD! Time goes sooooo slow. I've be cheking, re-checking, re-re-checking our file and documents, the order, made copies, re-copies, re-checked, where is my passport, oh and the ID photos are they in the file? ... OMG I'm going crazy. We still need the envelop and the 131 USD. That is tomorrow's mission or saturday's. Oh and i have to print directions too since we're driving there. What a great deal on your hotel! Please be sure to review it! I think we want a little tourist time in Montreal before we head back to Toronto and pace by the mailbox Sounds like you are getting excited! I am sure you will be fine! I had to resend the same email a couple of times, and then I would get a reply within an hour. Just resend it. Chances are, if there is no response within a few days, it's lost in cyber land or some person opened it to deal with it, and never did. I'm not saying that my method worked, but a few of us were pests with emails and requests, and got dates within weeks Good luck I'm sure that had a lot to do with it!! We got our USCIS approval March 13th, hard copy on the 20th and still we call every day only to hear 'oh we're not showing anything. it can take 4-6 weeks" blah blah... We press #1 then #2.... Raj you said #5? interesting. I thought this would be the fast part too! I expected by now we'd have packet 3 from Montreal (which take 90-120 days to get an interview from). Canada	Getting Immunization Records	From my fiance Dear fellow Canadian VJ members, My doctor retired some years ago and he had all my immunizations records. Does anyone know if there is a public record of these in which I can retrieve them from? Also, has anyone in Toronto had trouble getting an appointment with the consolate-appointed doctor? However, you can't really send back the checklist until you physically receive one to fill out. It will have your MTL case number on it as well, so you can't even print off someone elses and fill it out. Unfortunately you need to wait! But if you have the forms prepared for when it does come, you can send it off really quickly. Everything else that is listed in the checklist is to be brought to the interview... You need a valid passport (valid for at least a year), 5 US passport sized photos, birth certificate (the long form), a police certificate, court or prison records if applicable, divorce certificate from any previous marriages if applicable, form I-134 Affidavit of Support from the USC with evidence, new letter of intent from your fiance. You also need to arrange for a medical with a USCIS approved civil surgeon. There is one in Vancouver, one in Montreal and one in Toronto. Hope that helps! Thanks much appreciated! Is there a kind soul out there who can verify what is contained on Packet 3 checklist for Montreal, so we can send it to them? or point me in the right direction?
